Rule Heaven, rule Hell, and the wide worlds between.

Thy lunar crown will light our scene,
Come and bless us Old Crone, sweet Maiden, and Queen.

Ancient Crone, in tatters old
Thy lore is bitter, Thy rede is cold
In wisdom fabled beyond our ken
Thou holdest wake over Gods and men
Then layest them down, to rest, in the mould.

Sewing Needle Ritual For Protection

 

Items You Will Need:
A sewing needle
A reel of white thread
Sea salt

 

Fill a glass on half with cold water, add to water three spoons of salt and cut off from the reel about yard of the white thread. Put this thread into the glass with salty water and make the three sign of the pentagram over it. When the thread has become wet, get it from water and to thread the needle.

 

 

Tie together the ends of the thread with a triple knot. Take the needle in the right hand, touch a door hinge on your front door with the needlepoint and move it so along all length of the door hinge . Start this movement on a side of the top door hinge. If the hinge at the left side of the door, move from left to right, then downward, from right to left and upward to the same hinge. If the hinge at the right side of the door, move the needle downward, from right to left, then upward and from left to right. All time the needlepoint touches the hinge with light press. Having finished this action, stick the needle in the top corner of the doorjamb above the hinge, and say:

 

 

The needle as a steel lance,
Stab up all enemies and foes,
Ward off all disasters.

 

 

Thus you receive “lightning conductor” for neutralization of directed on you and on your home negative energy. This protection works approximately one year, after the expiration of it, you must replace the needle and the thread. Uttering the protective incantation, cautiously remove the needle from the door hinge:

 

Black to black,
white to white,
Dead to dead,
and alive to alive.

 

At once after that, go to a lonely place, and bury the needle with the thread in a ground.
If you suspect that on you and on your family are attracting negative or evil influences, replace the needle more often — once a month or once a week. But in all case do it on Friday evening.

Try this spell to reverse any negativity or hexes being sent your way.

 

Visualize all blocks in your life-path being removed. Anoint a purple candle with Rosemary oil. On a piece of white paper write the following in black ink:

All blocks are now removed.

Fold the paper three times. Light the candle and burn the paper in a bowl, ashtray, or any fireproof dish. Invoke the power of fire and its elemental spirits by repeating three times:

Firedrakes and salamanders,
aid me in my quest,
protect me from all evil forms,
turn back the negativity being sent.

After the third repetition say:

So mote it be.

Hex Breaking Ointment

3 parts Galangal
2 parts Vetivert
1 part thistle
2 parts dried ginger root

Steep herbs in shortening, strain, cool and anoint body at night.

Full Moon Scrying Ritual

The upcoming summer months are the perfect time for Full Moon Scrying and I’d like to pass on an old, time honored scrying ritual originally written by D.J. Conway that I have used many times during the long summer nights:

Items Needed:
1 bright, shiny silver coin
1 small, black cauldron or scrying bowl filled with water

Perform this ritual outside where the rays of the Moon can fall directly onto the water in the cauldron. If you cannot go outside, stay in a darkened room near a window that the Moon shines through. Place the coin in the water and take the cauldron in both hands. Gaze up at the Moon and say:

“Lovely Lady of the night,
Mysteries old and futures bright,
Give me a glimpse of that to be
And as I will so mote it be.”

Look down at the coin shimmering in the cauldrons water. With your eyes half closed, adjust your vision as if you were looking into and through the coin. Don’t try to analyze anything you might see or that might come into your mind. Just accept it. Some people, rather than seeing actual pictures within the cauldron, will have mental impressions, feelings or pictures. When you have finished, bow to the Moon and say thank you. Pour the water out on the ground. You’re done!

Perform this easy spell to calm yourself when dealing with intense emotional family or other issues. By ridding yourself of this excess emotional energy, you will allow your mind and body to stay healthy during this stressful season.

Ingredients:
a piece of unlined paper
a pen
a black candle
a bowl of purified water
sea sale

Spell:
Light the candle. On the paper write down any fears, frustrations, or concerns you may be feeling. Let the words come flowing from inside you, do not hold back. If you feel like saying the words aloud as you write them do so. Once you are finished fold the paper up and burn it in the candle flame. After you burn the paper, dip your fingers in the water and sprinkle yourself with it while saying:

“I release these words, I release this tension, I release this negativity from my life”

You’re done!

This spell is based on a little-known solar ritual from the Aegean islands. Long ago on the night before the Summer Solstice, hoops were set ablaze, and the villagers woudl guide the Sun’s return by jumping though rings of fire. You can create your own ring of fire with this spell. At dusk, outdoors if possible, light four candles of appropriate color, one for each season, in a circle. In the center place a gold or yellow candle for the Sun. Light the seasonal candles and say:

“Seasons must turn,
Let the Sun return.”

Light the Sun candle and say:

“Shining One,
Charge me with passion,
Turn my words into action.
It must be!”

Jump over your lit candles if you dare. Meditate on each Season and Thank the Sun for it’s return as you put out the candles.

On the night of a waxing Moon gather a pink candle, two rose petals, lavender oil and a small china plate. Cast a circle and light the candle. Contemplate the flame as a symbol of love’s light. Place the rose petals on the plate and add three drops of oil while saying:

“Love’s truth burns bright,
I welcome my soul mate on this night.”

Tip the candle to drip wax onto the petals, enough to form a coin sized token. Mold the wax and the petals together. Keep this token safe for six Moons then bury it beneath a rose bush.

8 vanilla beans
A place to bury the egg


Instructions:
Using a natural food colouring, draw the letters “RIPE” on your egg. Bury the egg along with the vanilla beans in the yard. If you don’t have access to any place for this, use a large flower pot. Every night, water the ground where you planted the egg, until you are pregnant.


When to do this spell: This spell is best performed during the waxing moon phase (when the moon is getting bigger in the sky), and preferably on a Monday.

Had the nine Muses fought the way most sisters do, humanity’s arts would be much the poorer. To help establish sibling harmony among your children, bind objects symbolic of each child with a six-foot-long brown ribbon. As you do so, repeat: “Binah brought you unto me. Mother goddess, hear this plea. Let my children happy be; bound in soulful harmony.” If the Moon is waxing, you should contemplate a growth of love among the siblings; if waning, meditate on diminishing hostility. Pull the ribbon tight, and knot. Every time they fight, think of their goddess-blessed unity. It will not take long for the spell to take practical effect.

KNOT LOVE SPELL

 

Items Needed:

 

3 cords or pieces of yarn in romantic colors (You can find these in the crafts section at Walmart.)

 

Take 3 cords or strings of different romantic colors – pink (for love), red (for passion) and white (for purity). You may choose other colors that are meaningful to you if you prefer.

 

Tie a knot near one end of the braid as you visualize a new love arriving in your life.

 

As you tie the knot, say the following prayer or another prayer or chant that is meaningful to you:

 

“Venus, Queen of Love, divine
Bring the love to me that’s mine.”

 

Braid the three strings together as you continue to visualize the perfect romantic partner falling deeply in love with you as you fall in love with him/her. Really try to feel the emotions of the two of you being happy together, being romantic, kissing and smiling, etc.

 

Next tie another knot and repeat the prayer as you continue the visualization.

 

Do this a total of seven times (knot & prayer, braid & visualize, knot & prayer), until you have seven knots in the cord.

 

Keep the knotted string with you (you may wish to fashion it into a necklace or bracelet and wear it) until you find your perfect love.

 

After you have found love, keep the cord in a safe place. If you decide you want to end the relationship someday, you can use the cord in a ritual designed for that purpose.

 

Note: Don’t worry if you lose the cord. Your love does not exist inside of a cord. The magic is always inside you. It’s in the visualization. It’s in the emotions that you felt as you braided the cord and tied the knots and said the prayer. The cord itself is merely a symbol to keep you focused on finding love.

Sometimes, when we have resolved to do something or stick to a regime, our resolution wavers. This spell will help strengthen it.

You will need:
A purple candle
White thread

Start by winding the cotton three times deosil (clockwise) around the candle, about a third of the way down. As you do so, focus on your breathing, taking deep breaths in and out. On the third wrap of the cotton take a deep breath in and hold it for a count of six.

Visualise yourself being surrounded in purple light to give you strength.

When you are ready, light the candle and focus on the flame. As you do so, ask out loud for strength in your resolve and help with keeping your focus on the task. End with the words ‘and harm to none, so mote it be’.

Items needed: A small ceramic jar or pot with a tight-fitting lid; 2″ square piece of parchment paper; a gold ink pen; a jar of honey; three silver coins.

Write out your wish on the parchment paper. Place the paper in the bottom of the jar. Add the coins and fill the jar with honey. Cover with the lid. Hold the jar close to your heart and the chant the following nine times to empower the wishing pot:

Goddess of blessings and bountiful earth
To my wishes and dreams give birth

Place the pot on your altar until your wish come true. Once you receive your petition, toss the pot into the nearest water way.

During this Pisces Moon, it is a good time for developing psychic skills. To do this, create an altar that includes some of the Piscean ritual objects: Blue and blue-green candles, A bowl of water, and figurines or pictures of otters, salmons, seals, whales, or great blue herons. Place some coral, opal, or labradorite stones on the altar with dried horsetail or sage. Apply some oil of lotus or frankincense, light the candles, and mediate on the water. Gaze deeply into the bowl and say:

Water Deep
bring me answers that I seek

 

Then ask questions that you do not have the answer for. Watch for images to appear in the water.
