A Little Humor for Your Day – And Goddess Made Dogs and Cats c. 2012

And Goddess Made Dogs & Cats

Man said, “Goddess, when I was in the garden, you walked with me every day. Now I do not see you anymore. I am lonesome here, and it is difficult for me to remember how much you love me.”

And the Goddess said, “No problem! I will create a companion for you that will be with you forever, who will be a reflection of my love for you, so that you will love me even when you cannot see me. Regardless of how selfish or childish or unlovable you may be at times, this new companion will accept you as you are and will love you as I do, in spite of yourself.”

And the Goddess created a new animal to be a companion for Man. And it was a good animal. And the Goddess was pleased. And the new animal was pleased to be with Man, and he wagged his tail a lot.

And Man said, “Goddess, I have already named all the animals on your Earth. I cannot think of a name for this new animal.”

And the Goddess said, “No problem! Because I have created this new animal to be a reflection of my love for you, his name will be a partial reflection of my own name, and you will call him DOG.”

And DOG lived with Man, was a companion to him, and loved him. And DOG was beside Man, all the day long. And Man was comforted. And the Goddess was pleased. And DOG was content and wagged his tail.

After a while, it came to pass that Man’s spirit guide came to the Goddess and said, “Mother, Man has become filled with pride. He struts and preens like a peacock, and he believes he is worthy of adoration. DOG has indeed taught him that he is loved, but perhaps too well.”

And the Goddess said, “No problem! I will create for him a companion who will be with him forever, who will see him as he is. The companion will remind him of his limitations, so he will know that he is not always worthy of adoration.”

And the Goddess created CAT to be a companion to Man.

And CAT would not obey Man. And CAT would love Man when CAT chose to love Man, and not when Man chose CAT to share affection.

And when Man gazed into CAT’s eyes, he was reminded that he was not the supreme being. And Man learned humility.

And the Goddess was pleased. And Man was greatly improved. And DOG was happy, and wagged his tail.

Moon Alert

Avoid shopping or important decisions after 10:45 PM EDT today (7:45 PM PDT). The Moon is in Pisces.

The Stars Rate Your Day

5-Dynamic; 4-Positive; 3-Average; 2-So-so; 1-Difficult

Aries (March 21-April 19)

*** Today you will act with restraint and cautious, common sense. Many of you will choose to work alone or behind the scenes because you’re assessing things and wondering about your next move. You’re not afraid to speak up; but you’re giving thought to what you will say.

Taurus (April 20-May 20)

*** Today you will express loyalty and support for someone older — either a friend or a charitable organization to which you like to support. Something unexpected might trigger your feelings of responsibility and obligations to others. After all, you care.

Gemini (May 21-June 20)

** Tread carefully when dealing with authority figures today, which means talking to parents, bosses, teachers, VIPs and even the police. Your dealings with them are not predictable. Something unexpected might occur. Fortunately, others will see you as conscientious and reliable.

Cancer (June 21-July 22)

*** Sudden opportunities to travel might fall in your lap today. Conversely, travel plans might be interrupted. It’s a crapshoot. Meanwhile, you will embrace traditional values when it comes to religious and political issues today because you believe the old ways are tried and true.

Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)

** Tread carefully today because unexpected news from bosses or authority figures might impact your financial scene. This could relate to shared responsibilities, shared property, inheritances or banking issues. Stay on top of things so that you are not caught off guard.

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

** Today you have to go more than halfway when dealing with others. Therefore, be ready to compromise. Having said this, unexpected opportunities to travel or encounter someone from another culture might catch you off guard. Stay light on your feet so that you can be flexible.

Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

** You are best served today by paying attention to your responsibilities related to your job, your work and even your health. Play by the rules. Do what is expected of you. Nevertheless, cancellations, delays and broken equipment might dog your footsteps. Be resilient.

Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

*** Your responsibilities to children and young people are important today and you will respect these. Others know they can count on you. Meanwhile, pay attention because this might be an accident-prone day for your kids. Social plans might suddenly change. Avoid sports accidents.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

** Small appliances might break down today or a minor breakage could occur because something will interrupt your home routine. Perhaps someone unexpected will knock on the door? Nevertheless, you are aware of your responsibilities to care for someone older – and you will.

Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

*** Pay attention to everything you say and do because this is a mildly accident-prone day for your sign. However, it’s a good day to study and learn something new. Actually, someone older might have interesting news for you. Stay light on your feet because there’s an unpredictable element in the air today.

Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

** Keep your eyes open when it comes to your assets, your money and certainly your possessions because something untoward or unexpected could impact them today. For example, you might find money; you might lose money. Do what you can to protect what you own against loss, theft or damage. On the upside, you might improve your job?

Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)

*** Today the Moon is in your sign dancing with Uranus as well as lining up with both Saturn and Venus. This is a mixed bag. In one way, things are sudden, changing and unpredictable. Yet, in another way, you will toe the line and stick with what is tried-and-true. (Better safe than sorry.)

If Your Birthday Is Today

Singer, actress, director Barbra Streisand (1942) shares your birthday today. You’re a perfectionist and a humanitarian. You are kind, devoted and protective of loved ones. This year is the beginning of new adventures and major changes in your life. Keep your eyes open for new opportunities. Take action and define your goals. Prepare for leadership. Stay independent.

Aries (March 21-April 19)

This Thursday seems to bring a liberating and confident attitude for you and this means that you might finally get the courage to come clean with some things that have been troubling you for a while.

You might be viewing what you are going through in a different light and therefore you feel more compelled to change them.

Taurus (April 20-May 20)

You might want to spend some time this Thursday planning for the week ahead although this week is not over yet.

It seems that thinking ahead is what is going to bring you leverage at work and perhaps you might be able to seize the moment ahead of the competition. Other than this, make sure you dedicate some time to yourself later on.

Gemini (May 21-June 20)

It appears that this Thursday will put forward the result of some older effort of yours. Don’t start celebrating already because I didn’t say anything about recognition or rewards.

This only comes as a reassurance for you that you are on the right track. Things are yet to be official and seem to remain in this position for a while.

Cancer (June 21-July 22)

You are recommended to truly listen to any feedback you are receiving this Thursday, no matter how further away, from what you think, might be and regardless of the fact that it might come from a person you consider knows nothing about you.

There are some lessons to be learned and conclusions you can draw from this.

Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)

The particular situation that consumes your nerves at the moment won’t go away if you worry incessantly and it appears there is nothing practical you can further do either.

For most natives, this is something personal that also has to do with patience and letting time go. Don’t take everything as a confrontation because surely it isn’t.

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

This Thursday announces to be a good time for minor travel so who knows where you might go after work tonight.

Or those natives who are on holiday already might feel more compelled to leave lazing aside and go on short exploring trips. There is a word of caution in regard to this though: make sure it doesn’t put a hole in your budget.

Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

This is not necessarily going to be a day of obstacles but neither it is going to be an easy one. And it appears that most troubles are connected to work, especially if you have things you have left from a couple of days ago.

At the same time, some natives might have to deal with some ghosts of the past, nostalgically reviving certain memories.

You can also enjoy this special Libra Daily Horoscope.

Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

While you might find it more comfortable to ignore certain chores, these don’t disappear and actually add up to that mix in the back of your mind.

You are only obtaining instant gratification and there may not be any more free time to buy when everything actually hits you, all at the same time. And by the looks of it, this Thursday evening is nearing a deadline.

You can also enjoy this special Scorpio Daily Horoscope.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

A positive day for all those natives who are confident enough in their communication abilities and have no problem standing up in front of more than 2 people at a time.

This might mean that you will be in the spotlight but not necessarily for something you did right. It may be that you need to officially solve a problem started by someone else.

You can also enjoy this special Sagittarius Daily Horoscope.

Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

The current disposition seems to allow you a lot more confidence when it comes to engaging with others and working with a diverse group.

The only problem is that this is not likely to happen at work but in your private life and you might not know entirely how to navigate this and how comfortable or professional to act.

You can also enjoy this special Capricorn Daily Horoscope.

Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

This Thursday promises some good financial advancement but at the same time will see you tend to isolate yourself.

While some might do it to count their blessings, ahem, money, other might feel the need to take a more spiritual stance in front of what is happening to them at the moment. Some might even consider that some things are moving too fast.

You can also enjoy this special Aquarius Daily Horoscope.

Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)

It appears that the stars really want to control some of your choices and you will feel more inclined to do particular things, although logically you might vote against them.

This is why, instead of dwelling between extremes, you could make everyone’s lives easier this Thursday and actually go on according to what your intuition says.

April 24, 2025 Current Moon Phase for the Northern Hemisphere

Source: nineplanets.org

The current moon phase for today is the Waning Crescent phase.

On this day, the moon is 25.93 days old and 18.21% illuminated with a tilt of -72.975°. The approximate distance from Earth to the moon is 367,675.25 km and the moon sign is Pisces.

The Moon phase for today is a Waning Crescent phase. This is the phase where the moon is less than 50% illuminated but has not yet reached 0% illumination (which would be a New Moon).

In this part of the moon cycle, it is getting closer and closer to the Sun as viewed from Earth and the night side of the Moon is facing earth with a decreasingly thin crescent being illuminated.

The waning (shrinking) crescement Moon will rise at around midnight, transit the meridian after sunrise, before setting after noon. This phase is best viewed 1-2 hours before sunrise and is a great time to see the features of the Moon’s surface. Along the illuminated crescent you can see the craters and mountains of the moon casting long shadows.

The Waxing Gibbous phase, like all moon phases, will last for just over 7 days. The actual length will vary because of the elliptical shaped orbit of the moon. During this Waxing Gibbous phase the moon will rise in the east in the mid- to late-afternoon and will be high in the eastern sky at sunset.

Assuming it’s a clear night, the Waxing Gibbous moon will then be visible through most of the night before setting just before sunrise.

Fun fact: the illuminated side of a waning crescent moon is always pointed eastwards, towards the sunrise.

A Little Hic-up Posting

I have no idea why but yesterday when I went to use Microsoft Word I got an error message and it no longer works on my desktop. I am going to be working on figuring out why and hopefully fixing it today. I have a document as a “cheat” sheet for posting so I do not have to type in titles and other information I use daily which I cannot open. So daily posts are a little limited until I get it figured out. The cheat sheet cuts down on having to type stuff over and over again which comes in really handy on fibromyalgia flare days.

Moon Alert

After 1:30 AM EDT today, there are no restrictions to shopping or important decisions today. The Moon is in Pisces.

The Stars Rate Your Day

5-Dynamic; 4-Positive; 3-Average; 2-So-so; 1-Difficult

Aries (March 21-April 19)

** This could be a challenging day for you because you might have a dispute with a friend or a group about property, or money issues, or something related to a possession of yours. Perhaps someone has damaged something you own? Or a group won’t cancel a membership fee? It could be anything. Keep your cool.

Taurus (April 20-May 20)

*** This is a classic day for having difficulty dealing with authority figures – parents, bosses, supervisors, teachers, VIPs, or the police. Unfortunately, these interactions could end up being a clash of wills. This disagreement could be a minor speedbump, or a major problem. Stay chill.

Gemini (May 21-June 20)

** Today will have some challenges for you; and one challenge might be that others are aware of your difficulties. Some of you might have to let go of something or give up something. But the truth is that down deep, you knew this was inevitable. To stay alive, every year the snake has to shed its skin.

Cancer (June 21-July 22)

*** You might have to run from ego battles with a friend or a member of a group, especially about shared property or a dispute about an issue. Or maybe you want to face the music? Either way, this could be a testing day for you with anyone who has an agenda.

Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)

** Relations with others are strained today. In fact, someone in authority might make demands on you. They might even want you to account for yourself about something? (Your regal nature will not like this. Such treatment is beneath you.) Seek a compromise.

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

** You might get into a controversial dispute about politics and religion today because people are opinionated and very pushy with their ideas. (Not you, of course.) Be smart and steer clear of the touchy subjects because some people are looking for a fight today.

Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

*** Today is difficult for many people because emotions are running high and people are entrenched in their views. You might encounter this in discussions with someone related to shared property, debt or even shared responsibilities. Use your Libran charm and diplomacy to deal with this.

Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

** You might feel as if someone is testing you today. Or perhaps, that you’re tested by a situation, especially dealing with partners, spouses and close friends. Discussions about relationships and family issues might be blunt and pushy. Go gently.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

*** Mechanical breakdowns or equipment problems related to your work or where you live might create stress for you today. Quite possibly, power struggles with coworkers might also take place. Something might be broken beyond repair today.

Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

*** Relationships with many people are tested today. Parents will find that their relations with their own kids are likewise challenging. Therefore, do your best to avoid hissy fits and meltdowns with kids. Don’t get caught up in a power struggle. Be the adult.

Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

** There’s a strong likelihood that family squabbles will arise because of power struggles, especially with parents or older family members. Something might be broken. Someone might be forced to make changes, especially if something isn’t working out. Today could be a harsh reality check.

Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)

*** Pay attention to everything you say and do today in order to avoid accidents. Obviously, an accident does not have to happen but if you’re angry or feeling pressured by someone, these feelings might distract you and indirectly create an accident. Stay calm and be mindful.

If Your Birthday Is Today

TV host, comedian John Oliver (1977) shares your birthday today. You are inquisitive, compassionate and tenacious. You are also independent, gregarious and artistic. Source: nineplanets.org

The current moon phase for today is the Waning Gibbous phase.

On this day, the moon is 19.71 days old and 79.53% illuminated with a tilt of -49.308°. The approximate distance from Earth to the moon is 400,078.12 km and the moon sign is Sagittarius.

The Moon phase for today is a Waning Gibbous phase. This is the first phase after the Full Moon where the illumination of the moon decreases each day until it reaches 50% (the Last Quarter phase).

The waning (shrinking) gibbous Moon will rise after sunset in the east, transit the meridian after midnight, before setting after sunrise in the west.

During this phase, the illumination of the moon will go down from 99.% to 50.1%. Technically, the phase starts as soon as the Full Moon has passed, but it can be difficult to calculate and differentiate the first stage of a Waning Gibbous Moon from a Full Moon when 98-99% of the Moon’s surface is illuminated.

Fun fact: the word Gibbous was first used in the 14th century and comes from the latin word gibbosus which means humpbacked.

Celtic Calendar Willow Tree Month April 15 to May 12

I am so sorry this is so late in going up. My only reason is it got lost in the shuffle of me trying to post northern and southern hemispheres information for the day before. I am not trying to make an excuse for my tardiness just giving you, my explanation. I hope you can still find this useful, and I will make a note to post the correct Celtic Tree Calendar on time for its next month.

Willow Moon: April 15 – May 12

The Willow moon was known to the Celts as Saille, pronounced Sahl-yeh. The Willow grows best when there’s lots of rain, and in northern Europe there’s no shortage of that this time of year. This is a tree associated with healing and growth, for obvious reasons. A Willow planted near your home will help ward away danger, particularly the type that stems from natural disaster such as flooding or storms. They offer protection, and are often found planted near cemeteries. This month, work on rituals involving healing, growth of knowledge, nurturing and women’s mysteries.

The Willow was a sacred tree to the Celts both for the wide range of materials it provided and for its unique beauty and spiritual presence.

It appears throughout the mythology of many cultures. In the Druid stories, the universe and all mankind was hatched from two scarlet eggs hidden within the willow tree. One egg formed the sun and the other the Earth.

In the seasonal festival of Beltane this story was re-enacted using painted eggs, a practice later adopted by the Christians and named Easter.

Tabernacles

In Hebrew culture the willow is associated with the Feast of the Tabernacles, where shelters were built using the branches of the willow, a tradition still followed in Jerusalem today.

In Greek mythology Willow was sacred to the Goddesses of the underworld, Persephone, Hecate, Circe and Hera. This was also the case in Celtic mythology where the willow was connected to the death goddesses representing dark, aspects of the psyche that require great understanding and challenge wisdom and strength.

In relation to these myths, the willow flower remedy is said to alleviate bitterness and resentment and benefit those who often blame others for their misfortunes. Willow leaves were often worn as charms to protect against jealousy and the wood of the willow inside and outside of a dwelling was said to protect against evil.

The Willow Craft

Willow had many practical uses in old Ireland, Britain and throughout the World, as well as spiritual ones.

It was used in the walls of houses as part of wattle and …

(One Person’s Viewpoint) The Mother: Nurturing Abundance, Manifestation, and Responsibility

When the Moon reaches its full glory, the Maiden gracefully transitions into the Mother aspect of the mother maiden crone.

Just as the Mother gives birth to all the abundance on Earth, she represents the culmination of growth and the fullness of life.
Associated with midday and the Summer season, the Mother brings forth nurturing, responsibility, and adulthood, embodying the maiden the mother the crone.
In Wiccan belief, the Mother is considered the most powerful aspect of the crone the mother and the maiden. She is the giver of life and the embodiment of manifestation. Wiccans often honor goddesses such as the Greek Demeter and Selene, the Roman Ceres, and the Celtic Danu and Brigid as representations of the Mother. By connecting with the Mother, we can tap into the energy of mother moon meaning, nurture our dreams and desires, and fully embrace the responsibilities of life.

April 13, 2025 Current Moon Phase for the Northern Hemisphere

Source: nineplanets.org

The current moon phase for today is the Full Moon phase.

On this day, the moon is 14.54 days old and 99.96% illuminated with a tilt of 106.542°. The approximate distance from Earth to the moon is 405,863.27 km and the moon sign is Libra.

The Moon phase for today is the Full Moon phase. In this phase, the moon is 100% illuminated when seen from Earth (hence the name Full Moon).

The Full Moon happens when the moon is on the opposite side of the Earth from the Sun. The sunlight fully illuminated the moon, and this is what we call being “full”. The moon will be visible throughout the night sky as it rises at sunset in the east, transits the meridian at midnight, before setting at sunrise in the west.

The specific point at which the Full Moon occurs can be measured down to a fraction of a second. The time that passes between full moons is called the Synodic month and is 29.530587981 days long.

Fun fact: lunar eclipses can only happen within a few days of the Full Moon, but they don’t happen for every Full Moon because the moon’s orbit has a 5.1° tilt around the Earth compared to Earth’s orbit around the Sun. Only when the intersection of these two orbits is pointing towards the centre of the Moon do we get a lunar eclipse.

All Signs

Life is “stirred up” and moving fast because almost half of the major planets are changing signs in the next few months. This is huge. (And some are moving into confrontational Aries.) Two weeks ago, Neptune entered Aries for the first time since 1862-1875; which is a preview of things to come because Neptune slips back into Pisces in October, returning to Aries in January 2026 to stay until 2039. Next week, Mars moves into Leo for two months. In June, Jupiter moves into Cancer; and in July, Uranus (planet of upheaval and revolution) also moves into Cancer, which happens to be the Sun Sign of both Canada and the US. (Yowzers!) Personally, I’m going to gas up my car; and make sure I have an extra bag of nachos and two cartons of Ranch dip.

Aries (March 21-April 19)

This week Mercury joins Neptune in your sign, which will make you busy and chatty! Meanwhile, your ruler Mars will soon move into the most fun-loving part of your chart for two months, making this the perfect time for vacations, creative adventures, fun activities with kids and competitive sports. Live it up! Later this week, the Sun moves into Taurus to stay for four weeks heightening your focus on money, cash flow, earnings and possessions. Examine your relationship to the resources in your life. Are you using what you own? Does your stuff serve your needs or vice versa? You will want to establish greater control of your life through the things that you value. It’s a reality check.

Taurus (April 20-May 20)

There’s a lot happening right now. Next week Mars moves to the bottom of your chart to stay for the next two months stirring up energy at home and with family members. (Try to avoid domestic strife.) You’ll want to start shoving furniture around and make home improvements. Be patient with parents because this is a challenging influence. Fortunately, the Sun enters your sign on Thursday to stay for four weeks, which will boost your energy and help you make a great impression on everyone. You’ll feel a strong need to express yourself! Meanwhile, Venus in your House of Friendships will create cozy times with pals. “Who brought this wine?”

Gemini (May 21-June 20)

Next week fiery Mars moves into your House of Communications to stay for two months, which means the pace of your everyday life will accelerate. You’ll identify strongly with your ideas, which means you might encounter arguments. Be careful not to coerce others into believing as you do. (“But I’m persuasive!”) Countering this, the Sun moves into a hidden part of your chart this week for the next four weeks. This happens only once a year, and will help you identify childhood behaviour patterns that are no longer appropriate. (Hey, you’re adulting now.) You can sense that your personal year is coming to an end, which makes this the perfect time to ask yourself how well you’re doing at the art of living.

Cancer (June 21-July 22)

Mercury is now at the top of your chart, urging you to make plans for your professional life, and think about whether you’re headed in the direction you want to go. This is an excellent time to undertake new studies, as well as talk to bosses and employers. Venus encourages travel for pleasure, and falling in love with someone “different.” Meanwhile, the next four weeks will be popular because the Sun is in your House of Friendships energizing your involvement with friends, as well as groups and organizations. This also arouses your idealism! Then, when Mars changes signs next week, you’ll work even harder to boost your earnings and spend money!

Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)

You’re entering a powerful window because next week, fiery Mars moves into your sign; while this week, the Sun moves to the top of your chart. This is favourable! Mars will give you energy, confidence and courage. You’ll be more proactive in all your dealings with others. (Maybe a tad bossy.) Meanwhile, with the Sun at your zenith, you look fabulous to everyone! This is because you’re in a flattering spotlight. (Symbolically.) People admire you even if you don’t do anything different. This is why you might be asked to take on increased responsibilities or you might get a promotion. As Mercury changes signs as well this week, your interest in study, education, publishing and travel will increase. “More whiskey and fresh horses for my men!”

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

This week the Sun moves into the part of your chart that heightens your interest in travel, learning and doing anything possible to broaden your horizons. You will seek out new and unfamiliar experiences. People from different backgrounds will intrigue you. This is a great time to take up a new course of study, a new hobby or learn a new language. Your focus on taxes, debt, shared property and inheritances will be strong because Mercury has entered one of your Money Houses. (Time to tidy up loose details.) Meanwhile, Jupiter at the top of your chart brings opportunities to get ahead. Seek out promotions, public recognition and the esteem of your peers. Take a bow.

Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

You don’t like to rock the boat. Therefore prepare for next week, when fiery Mars moves into your House of Friendships, making you more aggressive about going after what you want, even if it conflicts with others. Use your diplomacy to create successful team efforts. Coordinate your needs with their needs. (Tricky but doable.) Seek out more physical activity through athletics or team participation. Mercury, now opposite your sign, will help you clarify and explain issues. Discussions will be lively and you will seek out intellectual stimulation from others. Put energy into wrapping up loose details with taxes, shared property, inheritances and debt. All that fun stuff.

Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

Next week your co-ruler Mars moves to the top of your chart, arousing your ambition as never before. This means you’ll work hard to get things done. However, this could put you in conflict with a boss or an authority figure. Do what you can to avoid this because you don’t need a situation that blocks your objectives. Go slowly and be diplomatic. Meanwhile, with the Sun moving opposite your sign, you need more sleep and more rest in the next four weeks. Respect this need; especially because Venus will attract chances to party, play and schmooze. Mercury, now in your House of Employment, will promote good relations with employers and coworkers. The next few weeks are an excellent time for important discussions. Seek ways to improve your health.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

You might feel conflicted as two planets are changing signs because one makes you want to travel, explore the world, and get a change of scenery. (“I’m outta here.”) While the other makes you keen to work and be productive. In fact, you’ll strive to make every action count because you want to discover the best way of doing things. Physical efficiency will be your motto. Mercury is another planet that changes signs now, moving to one of the most fun parts of your chart, encouraging you to use your mind for amusement like reading, writing and playing games that require mental agility. You might even play some pranks?

Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

Lucky you! Once a year, the Sun travels through the most fun part of your chart for four weeks; and this starts now! You want to feel free to express yourself. You want to do what you want and set your own priorities. You have a strong drive to have a good time and be a free spirit. You might be more involved with kids than usual. Relationships will be more lighthearted. Family discussions are likely. Some will tackle home repairs. Admittedly, conflicts about inheritances, shared property, taxes and debt might increase. The other thing that will increase is your sex drive! Woot!

Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

You’ll be more focused on home, family and your private life in the next four weeks. Many will be more involved with a parent. (You’re not being antisocial. You prefer to go off by yourself or spend time relaxing among familiar surroundings.) However, life has its contradictions and indeed, as Mercury changes signs this week, it will make you want to get out and talk to everyone. Short trips will appeal. You won’t want to settle down and relax – you want to do something! Whatever happens, do your best to keep the peace because with Mars opposite your sign for the next two months, lively discussions (and arguments) might take place with spouses and partners. “Beware Viceroy; the Federation has gone too far this time.”

Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)

Fasten your seatbelt because the next four weeks are busy! More activity, more moving round, more encounters with new faces and new places! This is a great time for a vacation. It’s also a good time to tell others how you feel about something. Meanwhile Mercury has just entered your Money House making you more concerned about business affairs, shopping and moneymaking ideas. You might want to define your sense of values to someone. Mars is also changing signs next week, which will make you work hard to get things done. Best to work solo because you have your own ideas about how to do things. Oh yeah.
