April 8, 2025 Current Moon Phase for the Northern Hemisphere

The current moon phase for today is the Waxing Gibbous phase.

On this day, the moon is 10.43 days old and 83.99% illuminated with a tilt of 155.606°. The approximate distance from Earth to the moon is 397,418.84 km and the moon sign is Virgo.

The Moon phase for today is a Waxing Gibbous phase. This is the phase where the moon is more than 50% illuminated but has not yet reached 100% illumination (which would be a Full Moon).

No More New Posts Until Tuesday, April 22

I have a lot to get done in a short amount of time as I leave Friday for a long weekend to go to Indiana to preform the marriage for my oldest son and soon to be daughter-in-law.
