Breaking Ties/Banishing a Person from Your Life

Breaking Ties/Banishing a Person from Your Life

This is a spell for love gone wrong, for ending a personal, family or business relationship
that you no longer wish to be in. It is a fire spell. To work it, gather herbs of protection
and an image of the person (photograph, poppet, etc.) -Something written in their own
hand, a lock of hair, a piece of clothing or a personal object will also do.
Put everything into a fireproof container – iron cauldron, marble mortar, whatever –
and set fire to it as you perform the spell. It should make a very satisfactory blaze that reduces to ashes.
The ashes can be buried or washed down a drain. Flush them down a toilet if you are very angry.
Dispose of all the objects that connect you to the person: gifts, letters, photographs, etc.
It is especially important to get rid of jewelry. Move house if you have to. Be careful with this spell.
It’s permanent, so don’t use it unless you really mean forever. It’s also powerful.
“by basilisk and bloodstone
by the garlic in the fields
by the poppies and what they yield
invisibly I make my shield
to detect thee and deflect thee
By dragon’s blood and salamanders
by horses when their hooves strike sparks
by the dragon breathing flames from the Book of Life
I erase thy names
I cut the cords and unlock the chains
I sever all the ties by which we were bound
and with impenetrable walls myself I surround
against thy power and its source
against thy evil and its source
Vesta, Pele, Lilith Kali Kali Kali
I banish thee forever from me
and any harm from thee to me
doubles back and tables turned
thou shalt by thyself be burned
Lilith, Vesta, Pele Kali Ma Kali Ma
by the power of three times three I banish thee,
I banish thee, I banish thee I am set free So mote it be! “

Breaking Bad Habits & Overcoming Obstacles

Breaking Bad Habits & Overcoming Obstacles

Take a black candle which has been ritually cleansed and some anointing oil which has also been ritually blessed. Do not use anything for this which has not been cleansed or blessed already. Depending on the desired result, you should choose an oil which corresponds to this end. At the time of the new moon, or when it first begins to wane, cast a circle or use your 9′ cord to create a sacred space. Place the black candle (preferable a taper) on the altar with the oil. Have only blessed/cleansed tools in this ritual. Cast the circle. Call the Goddess and her consort. Use a burin to engrave the candle with the spell you wish to cast. Now, anoint the candle using the oil. While you anoint the candle with the oil, speak these words out loud or silently “Tonight no moon, tomorrow the first one. Let this be eroded till my will be done. Candle burns down to remove all ill. Let this spell be cast by the power of my will.” And once you have anointed the candle, place it in a safe place to it can burn down completely.

Special Kitty of the Day for March 14th

Gryffindor, the Cat of the Day
Name: Gryffindor
Age: One and a half years old
Gender: Male
Kind: Korat
Home: Stillwater, Oklahoma, USA
Irealize every pet owner believes their furry friend is the ultimate pet of pets. However, Gryffindor is more than a pet to me. As a college student with a busy schedule, Gryffindor is ultimate companion. I can always count on him to greet me each and every time I step through the front door. He anxiously awaits on the same step (where he has a clear view of the driveway) day in and day out and sprints down the stairs to offer a warming hello upon my arrival. Good luck finding a human with that type of commitment! I received Gryffindor as a 21st birthday present. I remember the day I picked him out from a Kansas Humane Society Shelter. I had been previously viewing photos on the shelter’s website days before Gryffindor’s adoption. Growing up, I had the same cat, Snowball, who I loved more than anything in the world. After almost nineteen years with me, Snowball left to join Kitten Heaven. I needed to find not a replacement for Snowball, but a companion that could fill the empty space Snowball had left in my heart and who I could devote my time and attention to the way I did with her.

Then, one day I came across this beautiful gray kitten with the bluest eyes that warmed your heart with one look. “Asher” was his name and he was only weeks old. I saved his photo as the background of my mother and father’s phone screen so they might get a hint of the one thing that would make my birthday special. I would causally throw into conversations what it would be like to be “Asher’s” owner. They would laugh it off and tell me I was being silly. Then around a week later, I remember my father waking me up and asking how I felt about giving “Asher” a home that day. I leaped out of bed and was ready to go in seconds. Once we got to the Humane Society I made an appointment to meet “Asher” before any other kitten. I wanted to keep my options, but the minute they handed him to me and I could feel his tiny little self start purring I knew I had to have him. I viewed a couple more kittens, but none of them greeted me like “Asher” did. He started playing with my shoe strings right away and I couldn’t leave that place without him in hand. We adopted “Asher” that afternoon and that evening a Harry Potter marathon was on. I’m not the biggest HP fan, but a scene was playing in which a professor transforms into a beautiful gray cat. I looked at “Asher” and decided he needed a name as unique as his personality. That’s when “Asher” became my Gryffindor.

To this day, the name Gryffindor couldn’t be more fitting. Gryffindor is the ultimate social ham. He loves people and he loves attention. He’s the most agile cat I’ve ever seen. He finds new obstacles to climb every day. He loves paper balls and will fetch them much like a dog would. His personality is the perfect mix of spunk and compassion. He can entertain me for hours but also cuddle with me when I’ve had a bad day. I am the luckiest girl in the world to call Gryffindor mine.

Dog-gone Doggie of the Day for March 14th

Orion, the Dog of the Day
Name: Orion
Age: Two years old
Gender: Male Breed: Lab, Hound mix
Home: Cary, North Carolina, USA
Orion came to me last March, after the loss of my Aussie Jake (Pet of the Day Jan. 4 1999). He has been in the shelter system for some time and had a near brush with the gas chamber last year. A non-profit Camp Rescue brought him back from near death and cared for him until I meet him earlier this year. He is a rambunctious two-year-old that has two speeds (on full, and sleep).

He shares this house with little sister Sadie a Corgi mix. They get along well enough, occasionally playing when Sadie is in “the mood”. He is such a lover bug, always wants a pat or hug. He loves to stand on his hind legs wrap his paws around your waist, a real hug.

Orion is a funny guy. He is very people oriented and loves attention. He is still learning sit and down. Stay is not possible, he is too active. ” the wild hair” comes at least once a day. He does a greyhound impersonation and tears around the backyard. Sadie tries to herd him, but he is just a little faster.

Orion loves to have his neck scratched. He will sit and stretch his nose way up toward the ceiling. This is the only time he will sit still… it feels so good. So hats off to a very handsome Dude, Orion.

Daily Cosmic Calendar for Wednesday, March 14

Following last night’s surge of cosmic blessings – brought forth by two highly favorable Venus alignments – the planet of love and beauty keeps providing support via a flowing trine to Mars (12:29AM PDT) while less than three hours later, Mars – which is still doing backstrokes in Virgo – makes another trine to giant Jupiter (2:51AM PDT). With the Moon in ebullient, adventurous Sagittarius, golden opportunities are prevalent. However, it is wise to avoid overdoing a good thing once the two largest celestial bodies – the Sun and Jupiter – form a caustic, 45-degree connection (2:14PM PDT). You probably won’t gain any assistance from the arrival of the Last Quarter Sun-Moon Phase (energizing 25 degrees of Pisces and Sagittarius at 6:26PM PDT). There is a need to cut through obstacles that could be blocking your spiritual pathway to higher consciousness. In your favor – as a physical-emotional vitality booster – is something unexpected – a flowing trine in earth signs linking Mars in Virgo and Pluto in Capricorn (5:25PM PDT). Allow the red planet and the mysterious underworld-ruling planet to come to your rescue for several hours. It is not every day that Mars and Pluto combine to be on their best behavior and create a support system on your behalf.

The Wicca Book of Days for March 14th – The Rune of Renewal

The Wicca Book of Days for March 14th

The Rune of Renewal

March 14 marks the beginning of the runic half month of Berkana (or Beorc), whose last day will fall on March 29. The mists of time may have obscured the precise meaning of Berkana, but it is generally interpreted as meaning the birch tree, whose symbolic correspondences include growth, renewal, and springtime fertility (the birch’s buds are usually the first to be seen in spring in northern Europe). It is also a rune denoting feminine fecundity, with specific reference to the Norse goddess Idun, whose gift of everlasting youth was manifest in the form of magickally rejuvenating apples.

Temperance Transference

Take advantage of the prevailing energies of this day to meditate on the major-arcana Tarot card, Temperance (XIV). A winged figure pours liquid from one cup to another in an unceasing flow, and signifies the harmonious union of such opposing principles as spirit and matter and consequently also healing.

Today’s Meditation for March 14th

Spirit Singing

The life-force (known as prana in the Vedic tradition) is often associated with the breath. Improvised singing can therefore be a powerful way to contact and express your spirit – the life-force within you. Find a place where you can make noise without being disturbed. Stand with your arms by your sides and your feet apart. Take a deep breath and push air through your mouth to create a sound. Do not try to form words or a tune. The aim is not to make beautiful sounds but to express your spirit through your voice. Be aware of your feelings, giving them full vocal expression in all their rawness and power.
