Whether you’ve done something you shouldn’t or neglected to do something you should have this spell throws a “smoke screen” around you.

Best Time To Cast This Spell:

  • During the New Moon
  • When the Sun or Moon is in Scorpio

Items You Will Need:

  • Wood chips from these trees:  Ash, Rowan Pussy Willow, Holly
  • Small amounts of these herbs:  Fennel, Basil, Garlic, Dill, St. John’s Wort, Valerian, Star anise
  • Seeds or petals from these flowers, peony white snapdragon, primrose
  • An amber-colored glass bottle with stopper
  • A gray silk scarf
  • Matches

The Spell:

  1. In a safe place build a small fire using the wood chips, herbs and seeds or petals.
  2. When the fire has died down to ashes, hold the amber bottle above the ashes and collect some smoke. Stopper the bottle.
  3. Hold the silk scarf in the smoke (don’t let it catch fire) for a few moments. Extinguish the fire.
  4. The next time you need to cover your ass, open the bottle and let the smoke flow out. Imagine it swelling to form a dense cloud around you, completely hiding you from sight. Drape the scarf over your shoulders and imagine concealing yourself  with a cloak of invisibility.

Note:  Refill the bottle with magick smoke after each use.

After meditation, exhale completely and comfortably. During your semi-slow inhale, envision tiny orbs of energy gathering toward your mouth (or nose). Feel yourself drawing them into your own energy. Once you have filled your lungs, exhale at leisure, but visualize a pillar of smoke (or whatever you like) bellowing from your mouth… this pillar takes form as a serpent-like dragon, as thick and long as you can manage in a reasonable exhale. This can be used for many things, be sure to ground the energy once you are done.

This is to call upon a guardian dragon to protect anything.

There are 3 stages to it.

First, The Sudden Need Incantation:

This method is short and to the point. Usually used to protect the caster or another in a sudden crisis.

“By Dragon wing and dragon claw,
my defense is without flaw.
Shrouded by dragon might,
remove me from enemy sight.
Fly before me, Dragon bright,
and blind my foe with thy light.
Full of rage and terrible ire,
burn my assailants with Dragon Fire.”

Second, The Short Term Protection.

This summoning is used for short term goals and needs such as protecting an object for a brief period, such as a car ride or elevator trip. Mark the object to be protected with the sign of the guardian and repeat the incantation below:

“Gentle Guardian wise and strong
keep it as it belongs.
Safe within thy charge and care,
the current venture to fare.
No harm to come or ill to befall,
guarded and safe through it all.”

Third, The Long Term Need:

This form of summoning is closer to permanent as we would perceive it. Yet in this you must still work with a time frame in mind, however distant it may be.

Guardian Dragons may be summoned in this fashion for protection of people places and things needing or deserving long term care (such as children, houses, spouses, etc). Multiple objects can be protected with but a change in grammar, but they should be together for a single dragon to protect (the objects become like a mini-horde).

“Dragon brave and Dragon wise,
let nothing escape your watchful eyes.
I call to you from your hidden lair,

Permit no harm to come to ( named object),
in your presence may all evils take flight.

Explanation: Stunning emission nebula IC 1396 mixes glowing cosmic gas and dark dust clouds in the high and far off constellation of Cepheus. Energized by the bright, bluish central star seen here, this star forming region sprawls across hundreds of light-years — spanning over three degrees on the sky while nearly 3,000 light-years from planet Earth. Among the intriguing dark shapes within IC 1396, the winding Elephant’s Trunk nebula lies just below center. The gorgeous color view is a composition of digitized black and white photographic plates recorded through red and blue astronomical filters. The plates were taken using the Samuel Oschin Telescope, a wide-field survey instrument at Palomar Observatory, between 1989 and 1993.

This is meant as a temporary aid to those in need.

Description:

This is a non-invasive spell of protection, which you can cast around anyone without bringing harm to them or effecting them directly in anyway. A courtesy and moral imperative is to inform the person you are going to offer protection and seek their approval. If they are uncomfortable with it in any way then do not do it. Because doing it against their will may cause psychological issues and paranoia and defeat the purpose of it altogether.

This spell creates a spherical field around the recipient, composed of energy in the blue to purple spectrum. The prevalent texture to this field is one of thorns and thistles. The thorns and thistles act as a filtering mechanism used to pick off aggressive energies directed toward the recipient.

Duration:

This spell will last until the moon reaches the corresponding phase in which the spell was cast. It feeds off of the aggressive negative energy that it encounters so it will last past the particular moon phase if it is still being fed. The will of the recipient can additionally dissipate the field at anytime should the need arise.

Comments:

It is important to note that this field feeds off negative energy but maybe enforced by the recipient by merely focusing any negative feelings or vibes they might have at the field itself. It is totally a defensive spell so it does not attack anyone. It is a form of relief in that aspect and helps to restore harmony from the turmoil caused by such attacks. So though negative energy is involved it is used in a way to restore harmonic balance.

It is also important to realize that this field only protects you from aggressive attacks, passive negative energy will get by so there is no fear of loosing your balance and going into some manic state.

Lastly this is not a spell cast on any individual, it is cast about them, it is the receiptients responsibility to acknowledge it’s existance or it will not work.

Typical circle components. Red Rose Thorn. Natural Hemp. Thistle from brush. Cauldron. Tea Light. Substitute a Censer for the Cauldron and Tea Light if necessary.

Preparation:

Cast your circle and light your candles. Place the Tea Light in the Cauldron and light it as well.

Chant:

With these thistles, thorns and hemp I construct
A field about (recipient’s name) that will not destruct.

With bindings from (specific emotion of your choice) I do adhere
these components to my need.

Thistles please take your place and bring the strands of magick in place.

You will need:
3 black candles and a mirror

This spell should be performed during the full moon, near a window, preferably one facing the home of the person who hexed you, if you know who they are.

Light the three candles, which should be placed in a triangle so that one is on either side of the mirror, and one is behind it (facing you). Place the mirror between you and the window, so the mirror surface is toward the window. Place your palms down flat on the table. Hold your back straight, and, with closed eyes, imagine a blue stream of energy coming from the moon, through the window, into your body. Hold the energy in you until you can feel it in your fingertips and toes. Then open your eyes quickly and release the energy seeing
it flow rapidly out of you and into the mirror.

Say:
“All evil sent to me
Reflected now will be
Three times three
So mote it be!”

See the energy flowing to fill the mirror. Visualize any negativity coming in the window bounding off and returning to the sender.

In complete darkness and privacy, light a pink candle and hold it in your hands. Take a deep breath and stand as tall as you can. Facing east, raise the candle high above your head for a moment. Bring the candle down to eye level and hold it there while you slowly turn in a clockwise direction 3 times, concentrating on the blue part of the flame. Raising the candle high again, invoke the powers of nature by whispering:

As you stand still for a moment, imagine a white light surrounding your body like a cocoon. Then take another deep breath and blow out the candle. This spell erects a barrier around you so no ill will affect your well-being. Never again will you feel hurt or depressed by people spreading gossip about you.

To cast a sepll you have to follow the basic ritual structure.

Preparing the Altar.(nothing too elaborate, just a few of your favorite tools). Lighting the candles.

Cleansing the area.

Casting the circle.

Invoking the elements.

Invoking the Deities.

Stating the Purpose of the ritual.

Magickal workings or devotions.

Raising the Energy. Releasing the Energy.

Grounding.

Thanking the Deities.

Thanking the elements.

Closing(or sometimes called opening) the circle.

Cakes and ale.

At the magick working section, you have to use your spell. In this spell you have to use the correspondences to make a good ritual. You have to use the correct herbs, essential oils, foods, trees, flowers, crystals, colours, days, time, planetary hour, zodiac hour. Look along them to see which fits in to what you want, let’s say protection:

Herbs – These can be used in a spell around a candle and then put in a silk bag (of appropriate colour) and carried around as a charm bag. They add energy to the spell.

Essential Oils – These can be annointed on the candle or charm bag, made later

Foods – These can be eaten after the ritual, and for a week after, or until you don’t need the spell anymore, to help you feel more protected.

Trees – These can be used in a wand, or in a talisman, as a writing tablet, where you inscribe symbols, numbers and words. They can also be placed into the charm bag.

Flowers – These can be planted around your house and picked for the spell. The flowers will also act as a protective barrier and as a home for fae, who will help too.

Crystals – These can be used in the spell and afterwards placed in the charm bag. You can make protective patterns from many crystals and that will help protect too.

Days, Times, Planetary Hours, Zodiac Hours – These are used for the right moon phase, sun phase, zodiac house etc. to help achieve the goal. When used in conjunction, all in the right way, there is a particular influece in that time which will help the spell to travel, and for you to concentrate.
