Mirror Magick
MIRROR MAGICK
Take a small mirror and lay it down, so it reflects up at you.
Then take a bowl of water (preferably a glass or silver bowl, but any bowl will do.
HINT: If using a ceramic bowl, plain is best.
You should use a bowl with pictures on it only if you have to (unless they are hieroglyphs). Only use plastic bowls if you absolutely have to.
Put the bowl of water in the center of the mirror, and surround the mirror with candles (this spell should be done in a dark room, or at night). The spell works best if the candles are vanilla or lavender.
There should be four candles, one at each corner of the mirror (or, if using a round mirror, one at each of these points: Northeast, Northwest, South east, Southwest).
In between the candles, on the North, East, South, and West sides of the mirror, put incense burners (the spell can work without the incense, but it works better with it). Put a small piece of silver (it can be a coin, a piece of a fork, anything) in the bowl.
Look down at the mirror, and chant this:
Mirror, Mirror, on the floor,
reflect for me forever more,
give me now the thing I crave,
I’ll give it back when I’m in my grave,
A pool of water, A touch of ice,
A teardrop from the moon, all this
I have and all I want, Is this.
The Wish Sack
THE WISH SACK
–wishing incense (bay leaf, cinnamon, ginger)
Write your wish on a piece of paper and put some wishing incense on top. Lift the corners of the paper and tightly twist them together to form a sack. Light the wish sack while visualizing your wish coming to fruition. If the paper burns entirely, expect wishes to come true immediately. Having to relight the paper once or twice signifies positive results but only after obstacles clear. Having to re-light the paper any more than twice is an indication that either your wish won’t come to pass or that what you wish isn’t good for you.
Runic Spell for Nearly Anything
RUNIC SPELL FOR NEARLY ANYTHING
–A flat stone at least 4′ wide with a pentacle marked upon it
–A small bowl of some natural material (stone, metal, clay, etc)
–24 small, smooth stones marked with the 24 runes
–Paper A pen Working knowledge of runes
Write your intentions upon the paper in runes.
Cast a magic circle, then read what you have written aloud four times, first facing east, then south, then west, then north.
Fold the paper and place it in the bowl, place the bowl upon the flat rock, directly in the center of the pentacle. Place the small stones in a circle around the flat rock, saying the name of eac brune aloud as you set it down.
Leave this arrangement in place until the spell has been fulfilled.
Good Luck and For Granting Wishes
GOOD LUCK AND FOR GRANTING WISHES
Food has long been a symbol of magic. Writing on cakes and other types of food dates back to ancient Greece and goddess worship. Honey cakes were written on, candles lit and blown out, and wishes on the cakes were eaten to transfer them to the eater. Perform this spell anytime of the year on a waxing moon.
The red candles are for luck and the green for prosperity, but you may wish to substitute other colors more suitable to your specific wish. The seed hold the promise of regrowth.
Method Alternating the colors of the candles, make a large circle with them, aligning them to the eight compass direction.
Put the glass of wine in the center of the circle, and place the dish of seeds and/or nuts next to it. Keep the pebble in your left hand through out the spell. It represents the turning Circle of Life in the universe. Light the north candle first, then travel to the center of the circle. Take a seed or nut and dip it in the wine, make your wish and eat it, do this until all the candles are all lit, working your way in a clockwise direction. You might find it helpful to break your wish into eight steps.
When finished sit in the middle of your glowing circle. Drink the rest of the wine as a toast to the world, and keep the pebble for good luck.
VISION SPELL
VISION SPELL
If you wish to have a vision true, then put together this witches brew.
Mix this oil, this sacred potion, charged with power and devotion, filled with Marigold, Rosemary, Clove, Mugwort, Lavender, Jasmine and Rose. Make an incense of the same, to ignite the mind, the mystic flame. Smudge with incense and anoint with oil, to cleanse yourself of mortal toil.
Chant this chant to start your mission, as a trigger for your vision:
Vision, Sight and deep perception, mystic light and meditation,
trance or conscious my eyes shall see, the other side shall come to me.
Now sit in thought, in meditation, lost in mind, in concentration, wait for the vision that you desire to come to you within the hour
The Witches Magick for the 18th Day of the Mead Moon – Dragonfly Faery Magick
Dragonfly Faery Magick
Cast this spell in honor of Lorialet, the enchanted son of the Greek goddess Selene and the Greek God Endymion. He is a poet, musician, and sorcerer, who lives on mountain tops, wooded glens, and next to forest lakes, and constantly dreams of the moon. Cats love him, and butterflies and dragonflies travel with him wherever he goes.
For this spell, you will need a body of water and a dragonfly sticker. Magic shops, the Internet, New Age gift, and health food stores are places to find dragonfly stickers.
After dark when the moon has risen, go outdoors and sit next to a body of water such as a creek, river, pond, lake, or ocean. Recite a special poem you have written for Lorialet and the dragonflies, or you can recite one of the following: My favorite is a passage from the song “Dragonfly” by Clutch. Other are a-ha’s “Dragonfly” lyrics and Jimi Hendrix’s “Spanish Castle Magic.” Put a copy of the lyrics where you can read them before you go to sleep to encourage dragonfly dreams. Dragonflies are messengers of the Gods. Affix the sticker on your car, refrigerator, or bathroom mirror to remind you of the dragonfly magick all around you.

The Witches Magick for the 17th Day of the Mead Moon – Serpens Star Magic
Serpens Star Magic
Stars serve as gateways between ordinary reality and the many realms of experience and spirit. Serpens is a constellation that is partly visible from anywhere on earth. It is connected with Ophiuchus, the serpent bearer, who was a famous healer in Greek mythology. Ophiuchus was raised by the centaur Chiron who taught healing skills to the boy. He could bring the dead back, and Hades, who ruled the underworld, complained to Zeus that his power was threatened. Eventually, Zeus killed Ophiuchus with a thunderbolt and placed him in the sky. Cast this spell to heal your spirit and make you whole.
Gather together a white candle, a stapler, scotch tape, two six-inch by six-inch pieces of purple paper, a silver gel pen, three bay leaves, three pinches of powdered cinnamon, three pinches of dried mint leaves, and three pinches of powdered ginger.
At midnight, draw a sacred circle, and call in the elements. Light the candle, dedicating it to Ophiuchus. Staple and tape the two squares of paper together along the sides and bottom edge, leaving the top open. Use the gel pen to write the words “Serpens Healing” on both sides of the placket in large letters, and draw some stars and moons on the placket sides as well. Now, write the same words on both sides of each of the three bay leaves. Once the ink is dry, insert the three leaves into the placket. Add the other ingredients. Seal the top edge. To empower the placket, hold it in your hands, merge with the divine, and say three times:
Serpens healing powers
I call upon you this hour
Please heal my spirit and my soul
Star dreams make me whole.
So be it! So mote it be!
Put the placket next to your bed. Allow the candle to safely burn down. When you are finished, bid farewell to the elements and pull up the circle. Leave the placket next to your bedside for a moon cycle for best results.

The Witches Magick for the 16th Day of the Mead Moon – Path to Prosperity Magic
PATH TO PROSPERITY MAGIC
Use this spell to get on the path to wealth, riches, and abundance.
Once the moon rises, gather together a green felt pen, a piece of paper, a small green pouch, a rutilated quartz crystal, and three pinches of mugwort.
Draw a magic circle and call in the elements. Write down on the piece of paper exactly what path to prosperity you want to travel. Be specific. Fold the paper eight times, hold it in your power hand, and say three times:
May the Goddess and God guide me
On a path to wealth, riches, and
abundance.
So be it! Blessed be!
Put the folded paper in the pouch. Hold the rutilated quartz crystal in your power hand, and merge with the divine. Repeat three times:
May the Goddess and God guide me
On a path to wealth, riches, and
abundance.
So be it! Blessed be!
Put the mugwort into the pouch, and close it. Hold the pouch between your hands, and repeat three times:
May the Goddess and God guide me
On a path to wealth, riches, and abundance.
So be it! Blessed be!
Bid farewell to the elements and close the circle. Carry the pouch with you, and take those action steps that will lead you on the path to wealth, riches, and abundance.

The Witches Magick for the 15th day of the Mead Moon – New Moon Flower Spell
NEW MOON FLOWER SPELL
D. H. Lawrence (1885– 1930) wrote “New Moon” about the beautiful new moon. It reads, “The new moon, of no importance, lingers behind as the yellow sun glares, and is gone beyond the sea’s edge; earth smokes blue; the new moon, in cool height above the blushes, brings a fresh fragrance of heaven to our senses.” In this spell, you will use the power of the new moon to send healing light to someone in need.
You will need a bouquet of fresh flowers to cast this spell.
At dusk, set the bouquet of flowers in front of you. Take a few deep breaths to center your awareness. Turn your attention to the flowers. Look at them in a new way. Imagine the flower faeries, the divine spirits, that inhabit the flowers in front of you. These faeries may look like winged beings, tiny white, pink, gold, blue, or green spheres or dots of light, or they may look like large elven-like beings that seem to flow from the flowers themselves. You may actually see the faeries, or you may sense them in another way. Just keep breathing deeply and turning your awareness toward the flower faeries.
Now imagine the person to whom you want to send the flower faery healing light. Say:
May this healing light fill [say the person’s name].
So be it! Blessed be!
Ask the flower faeries to fly to that person and fill her or him with all of their healing blessings. Take a deep and complete breath, and as you exhale, actually imagine them all flying to, and filling the person with divine healing light. Keep using your breath to move more and more healing flower faery light to the person. Do this for at least five minutes. Keep focusing on the flower faeries and sending their healing energy to the person.

A Smudging Prayer
While smudging of self and home is use by a lot of Neo-Pagans now, it originally was a Native American cleansing ritual they used before entering their sacred circle, sweat lodges and other religious ceremonies.
A’Ho = Blessed be or So mote it or Amen or I agree with you
A’ ho is used by some of the tribes and nations but not all of them.
New Moon Spell – Write Your Own Check

New Moon Spell – Write Your Own Check
I like to write a check to myself on the New Moon. I make it out to myself and write “paid in full” in the amount box, then sign it from “the law of abundance.” I fold the check into three and add three drops of peppermint essential oil on top after laying it in the bottom of a dish I keep on my altar, and then I sprinkle over it dried mint and lay three sticks of cinnamon on top. This works really well to keep enough money coming in.
At the very first sign of the Moon, just the slightest glimpse of her, stand outside and look up. Turn around deosil (sunwise or clockwise) three times and make a wish on the New Moon.

The Witches Magick for July 14th – Healing Box
Healing Box
This spell is to heal someone, such as yourself, who has been wounded by the stray arrows of cupid.
You will need a covered box large enough to fit the photograph of the person to be healed and a mixture of faery dust. In this case, faery dust consists of a pinch of dried rosemary, thyme, and sage.
After dark, put the picture of the person to be healed in the box. As you sprinkle the faery dust into the box on top of the photograph, say:
Good people of the night,
Blessed faeries and elves
Please share your magic with me.
Put the cover on the box and begin shaking it. Imagine the person in the box being healed. Merge and send positive, loving energy to the person in the photograph in the box. As you do so, call out:
Blessed and good people of the night
Please share your ancient healing
light
Stop the heartache and the pain
Let [state person’s name] be whole
again.
By the blessed fae, so shall it be!
Leave the picture in the healing box until the next full moon, at which time, say a healing prayer to reinforce the healing. Return the faery dust to the earth. As you do say:
Thank you blessed and good people of the night.

WOTC Extra – Casting the Circle
Casting A Circle
A circle is cast before you perform spell-work. The circle forms two purposes – it protects you from negative energy and it provides energy for the spell being cast.
Face the north quarter and point at it, either with you finger or your athame, while saying, “Hail and welcome.” Light the candle that represents that quarter, if applicable. Repeat this for each other quarter, moving in a clockwise direction to form a complete circle.
When you get back to the beginning again, ask the God or Goddess for their blessing and ask them to seal the circle and protect those working within it.
After you have finished the spell-casting, you will need to close off the circle properly. This is done by the same person who originally cast the circle. Thank the God and Goddess and face each quarter again – this time pointing towards the ground. This will safely disperse the energy.

Let’s Talk Witch – Preparing Yourself for Ritual: Cleansing Yourself & Your Sacred Space
Cleansing Yourself and Your Sacred Space
Before any ritual, you need to make sure that the space set aside for it is clean. Try to keep the space uncluttered and get rid of any dirt. Cleanliness is a sign that you respect the sacredness of the space.
The next thing to do is to prepare the space for the cleansing of any negative energy. In witchcraft, drawing on the power of the elements is a good way to increase the potency of your spell. Having items that represent the various elements is how you will incorporate the power of these elements.
First divide the space into quarters that correspond with the four cardinal points.
Air can be represented by a feather and the color yellow – these are normally set up in the east quarter.
Water can be represented by a shell or sea glass and the color blue – these are normally set up in the west quarter.
Fire can be represented by a candle and the color red – these are normally set up in the south quarter.
Earth can be represented by a stone or piece of natural rock and the color green – these are normally set up in the north quarter.
Although not an element as such, spirit is also considered important and is represented by a figure of a person and the color purple – these are normally placed in the center of the room.
Now that you have all the items in place, you are able to start the cleansing ritual.
Burning sage – either the dried herb or incense – is a really good way to purify the space of negative energy. You can also use a solution of water and salt to cleanse the space.
The following spell employs a combination of the two:
Hold the water in one hand and the salt in the other and say – “In the name of the Lord and Lady, I cast out all impurities.”
Mix the salt with the water and put it down.
Light the sage and pass it over the water and repeat,
“In the name of the Lord and Lady, I cast out all impurities.”
Now that the water is cleansed, sprinkle it around the room and onto the people present. Be sure to also sprinkle the salt water in the doorways and on the windowsills.
Pick up the burning sage and cleanse the air with it – paying particular attention to the corners of the room.
The space is now ready to be used.

The Witches Magick for the 13th day of the Mead Moon – Meditation in a Jar
MEDITATION IN A JAR
After dark, turn on some faerylike music. Albums by Enya, Alain Stivell, Kim Robertson, and Clannad are all ideal.
First make the meditation jar. Use a jar with a cap. Put in a teaspoon each of all these dried herbs: cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, ginger, garlic salt, marjoram, sage, and cloves.
Before you do the meditation, cap and shake the jar gently. Uncap the jar, and carefully inhale the scent, making sure none of the powder gets in your eyes, nose, mouth, or on your skin. The powers of the herbs heighten your psychic abilities.
Now sit or recline comfortably. Loosen any clothing that may be binding you. Close your eyes, and imagine a magical faery castle. Shape and fashion it from anything you like: the moon, the stars, crystals, gems, or flowers. This faery castle is a place where you can go to energize yourself with the magic of faeryland, even if it’s just a few minutes.
Take a deep breath in and out. In your mind’s eye step over the threshold of the castle, and enter it. As you step inside, your senses seem to come alive. You notice that the castle is filled with friendly faeries of all different types. There are flower faeries and woodland elves, winged faeries and will-o-wisps. Take a few minutes to explore the castle and all the faeries within. Enjoy the joyful sensations that accompany the adventure.
When you are done meditating, bring your attention to the present time and place, or if you like, drift to sleep, thinking of your faery castle. The jar can be used for other magical works. When the scent is gone, empty the jar contents onto the earth as an offering to the faeries. Say:
This is an offering to the kind and helpful faeries!

The Witches Magick for the 12th Day of the Mead Moon – DETERMINATION CHARM
DETERMINATION CHARM
This charm uses the power of the elements to give yourself added energy to carry on in your quest for a better life. Like four Goddesses, who are sisters, the elements each have their own unique quality that is powerful by itself, but when combined, become even more divinely powerful.
You will need a piece of carnelian and a red candle.
Wash the carnelian in cool water for at least a minute before using it as a charm. Draw a circle of light and call in the elements. Light the red pillar candle, and dedicate it to the four sisters:
Sisters of the earth, wind, fire, and water
Let your light shine bright tonight
With the piece of carnelian in your power hand, move to the north point of the circle, and call out:
Divine sister of earth
Give me strength.
Moving to the east point, call out:
Divine sister of air
Give me hope.
Moving to the south point, call out:
Divine sister of fire
Give me creativity.
Moving to the west point, call out:
Divine sister of water,
Give me love.
Now that the piece of carnelian has been programmed with the power of the four sisters and their corresponding elements, keep it near you as a reminder of your internal strength and determination. When you are done, bid farewell to the elements and pull up the circle. Allow the candle to safely burn down.

The Witches Magick for the 10th day of the Mead Moon – Mead Moon Dream Bath

Mead Moon Dream Bath
Buttermilk encourages a smooth and creamy complexion. Just before you go to sleep, take this dream bath. Use this bath to empower, enrich and uplift you.
For this spell, you will need one-quarter cup of buttermilk powder, six drops of jasmine-scented oil, and one-quarter cup of sea salt.
As you stir all the ingredients into the bathwater chant:
Moon of Mead, empower my dreams.
Now, step into the bathwater. Soak for several minutes. As you do, say three times:
May the powers of the Mead Moon
Empower, enrich, and uplift me
By the lunar light, so shall it be!
Anoint yourself with a few drops of the scented oil after you towel off. Imagine being empowered, enriched, and uplifted by the natural powers of the moon and stars. Continue doing this as you drift to sleep.
