Spell for Tuesday – A Tea Spell to Ease Anxiety

(YOU CAN COPY AND PASTE ANY SPELLS POSTED TO A DOCUMENT TO PRINT AND/OR SAVE ON YOUR COMPUTER)

A Tea Spell to Ease Anxiety

This is a little spell to relieve anxiety I have used for many years when life was too tough to handle at times. This requires a tea be made, a quiet place to sit, and sip for just a few minutes. The little chant is a take on a knot spell but I liked it and it as done me well over the years. I suggest writing a chant that is meaningful to you. Here is how I completed my spell to help deal with my anxiety at time.

I first made a tea, then said my chant, and drink the tea. I have said this spell at work while mixing my tea saying my chant under my breath. It had some interesting results when others who happen to walk in during my tea break and start talking about their recent hurts. It happened enough that I can’t say it is a coincidence. Mind you nothing was said to the person about my spell.  I only made my intentions privately known and at the time worked in a public setting that would frown upon magic, spells, or anything other than completing one’s work.

This is a tea enchantment spell. You can make this tea ahead of time if you know it is going to be a particularly angst filled week. The magic comes in when you take a spoon filled with honey or other sweetener and stir your tea to activate it with intention.

Anxiety Spell Ingredients

Make a transmutation elixir (a.k.a. Calming tea) using:

  1. Brew: Simmer and steep the herbs in a pot for 20 minutes, strain herbs, and pour 8 ounces of tea into a teacup.
  2. Enchant: Stir in your honey using a clockwise motion. This sweetens your intent. Visualize things in your life becoming sweeter.
  3. Say:
    Hawthorn, oat, lavender, nettled
    Transform this hurt
To wholesome fettleBy the swirl of one
This spell is done.By the swirl of two
This hurt bids adieuBy the swirl of three
With transmute completeNo harm to thee
Not harm to meWith love and light
    So mote it be.
  4. Drink the tea.

The Stars Rate Your Day

5-Dynamic; 4-Positive; 3-Average; 2-So-so; 1-Difficult

Aries (March 21-April 19)

This is a fabulous day to schmooze with others because people are optimistic and upbeat. Discussions with partners and friends will be productive and mutually encouraging. Meanwhile, this is a passionate, sexy, romantic day! Enjoy!

Taurus (April 20-May 20)

This is a fun day for you because you will charm others, not only casually but flirtatiously as well. Without doing anything special, you will be attractive and alluring! In addition to which, discussions about your job or your health will be vigourous and positive. A winning day!

Gemini (May 21-June 20)

A work-related romance might begin today. Certainly, many of you will have either a casual or intense flirtation related to your job, your health or a pet. (A subtle innuendo with a fellow dog owner?) Activities in the entertainment world or sports are pumped!

Cancer (June 21-July 22)

“Be still my beating heart.” This is a flirtatious, romantic day! It’s a wonderful day to enjoy social activities, luncheons, Happy Hour, dinner with a friend, sports events and any fun, entertaining diversion. Meanwhile, plans for home improvements are ambitious.

Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)

This is a wonderful day for those in sales, marketing, teaching, acting and writing because all your communications with others will be upbeat, positive and full of optimism. You’re entertaining big ideas and your enthusiasm is contagious. (Great day to entertain at home.)

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

This is a flirtatious day for almost everyone; however, for your sign, a friend could become a lover. A platonic relationship might turn romantic. Something will catch you off guard and it will be exciting. Meanwhile, financial plans look promising. You will impress someone important.

Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

This is a great day to make plans for the future or create organizational systems. You’ll be interested in intellectual activities and anything that requires mental effort. All business and commercial activity will go well today because you are sharp and on top of things. (You can’t go wrong.)

Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

Romance with someone different or from another culture might blossom today. You are definitely attracted not only to different people but different experiences today because you want to do something to expand your horizons. Basically, you feel confident and optimistic. Good stuff.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

You are well favoured for a second day in a row because the Moon is still in your sign. Meanwhile, secret romances are taking place for many of you. (My lips are sealed.) Group activities and interactions with friends will be upbeat and positive. Working with others will be successful.

Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

A flirtation with a friend might surprise you today. In fact, a casual friendship could turn romantic. This might take place with a friend you know or a member of a group. Meanwhile discussions with bosses, parents and authority figures will be successful because they’re impressed with your big ideas and positive thinking.

Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

A flirtation or an attraction with a boss or someone in a position of authority might take place today. Meanwhile, this is a wonderful day to learn and study. Discussions about legal matters or anything related to publishing, medicine and higher education will be successful because you’re not afraid to think big.

Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)

Romance with someone different, perhaps from another culture might begin for some of you today. Others might have an opportunity to travel for pleasure. Financial discussions, especially about how to share an inheritance or divide something will go well. These discussions will favour home and real estate. Looking swell!

If Your Birthday Is Today

Actor Matt Damon (1970) shares your birthday today. You’re imaginative, creative and full of original ideas! You’re also intelligent and insightful about people. This year you can reap the benefits of your hard work. Expect increased power and leadership. You will be acknowledged perhaps with awards, kudos or promotions. Bravo!

Aries (March 21-April 19)

An auspicious day ahead if you keep your focus more on your family than on work and on your health rather than on indulging yourself.

The clearer you keep your mind the easier it is going to be for everyone involved. At the same time you need to counterbalance affection with extra care or else conflict might rise.

Spell For Monday – A Fertility Spell Without Ingredients

(YOU CAN COPY AND PASTE ANY SPELLS POSTED TO A DOCUMENT TO PRINT AND/OR SAVE ON YOUR COMPUTER FOR PERSONAL USE ONLY)

A fertility spell without ingredients

I would like to make a disclaimer before describing the rite. Nobody wants to take the place of doctors or say that doing a ritual to have a child is the only right way in the world. The fact is that this is our way of praying (I mean us pagans), like when someone goes to church and prays by lighting a candle.

Our ways of praying are different but no less respectable than others. Many women have asked me for the favor of publishing a ritual that could help them have a child. If this ritual can serve to give you a chance, because harmony and positivity always start from the mind, then I’ll be happy to show you how to do it.

According to my point of view, whoever is to be born is a soul waiting for a woman who can allow him to cross the door to the outside world. The souls are there waiting to find the right one that can give them the life they need to live and then come (who knows when) to enlightenment.

So, you should be ready to welcome a new life into yours. Many people experience this moment with anguish; therefore, it is very easy to get stuck. Therefore, try to relax, to be calm by creating a sort of inner peace. Your anxiety will close the doors.

A fertility spell without ingredients

As soon as you feel ready, calm, and free of any negative moods, buy a teddy bear, a rattle, or a baby onesie.

On a Monday, place your object so it is exposed to the rays of the moon to create a connection with the universe.

When you feel ready, place the object on your heart and say:

“For you my child, my body is ready to receive you!” (Repeat 3 times)

Now take the object and rock it, saying:

“Through the Earth, the air, the fire, and the sea,
In my arms you will be!”

8 October 2024 Current Moon Phase and Planetary Positions for the Southern Hemisphere

Source: nineplanets.org

The current moon phase for October 8th, 2024 is the Waxing Crescent phase.

On this day, the moon is 5.5 days old and 27.17% illuminated with a tilt of 131.516°. The approximate distance from Earth to the moon is 395,015.31 km and the moon sign is Sagittarius.

The Moon phase for October 8th, 2024 is a Waxing Crescent phase. This is the phase where the moon started to become visible again after the New Moon.

In this part of the moon cycle, the Moon is moving away from the Sun and is becoming more and more illuminated by sunlight. In this phase, the moon will go from 0.1% to 49.9% illuminated before reaching the First Quarter phase.

In the Waxing Crescent phase the moon rises before noon in the east, transits the meridian before sunset, before setting in the west before midnight.

The Waxing Crescent phase, like all moon phases, will last for just over 7 days. The actual length will vary because of the elliptical shaped orbit of the moon. The moon is close to the Sun in the sky and the right edge will become brighter as it approaches 50% illumination and the First Quarter phase

Fun fact: although only a small part of the Moon is illuminated in the Waxing Crescent phase, you can still sometimes see the rest of moon as faintly visible. This is known as “earthshine” or Da Vinci glow and is a result of sunlight being reflected off the Earth and back to the Moon.

October 7, 2024 Current Moon Phase and Planetary Positions for the Northern Hemispheres

Source: nineplanets.org

The current moon phase for October 7th, 2024 is the Waxing Crescent phase.

On this day, the moon is 4.46 days old and 18.65% illuminated with a tilt of 138.98°. The approximate distance from Earth to the moon is 398,970.32 km and the moon sign is Sagittarius.

The Moon phase for October 7th, 2024 is a Waxing Crescent phase.

Moon Alert

There are no restrictions to shopping or important decisions today. The Moon is in Sagittarius.

The Stars Rate Your Day

5-Dynamic; 4-Positive; 3-Average; 2-So-so; 1-Difficult

Aries (March 21-April 19)

Avoid controversial discussions about politics, religion and racial issues because you will meet with opposition. Someone older or more experienced might challenge you. Instead, make travel plans and socialize with people who are “different.” Learn something new.

Taurus (April 20-May 20)

You might be disappointed with financial discussions today. However, discussions related to work or health, especially about the practical and financial support you can receive might encourage you. It’s a good day for mental work. Meanwhile, relations with others are pleasant.

Gemini (May 21-June 20)

Today the Moon is sitting in the sign that is directly opposite from your sign, which means you have to cooperate with others. You might have to go more than halfway. However, this isn’t a big deal. In fact, this is a pleasant day to socialize, enjoy sports events and fun activities with kids.

Cancer (June 21-July 22)

Travel plans might disappoint. Work will go easier for those of you who work at home today. You might also be challenged by regulations or the rule of the law. Family discussions related to your work or your health will be positive. Keep an open mind.

Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)

This is a pleasant day to enjoy the company of others. Entertaining diversions, the arts, sports events and fun activities with kids will appeal. Because you’re interested in making your home more attractive, you might like to entertain at home. Financial discussions could be challenging.

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

Grab any chance to relax and hunker down at home today if you can because this will be what you need. Today you want to hide from the busy insanity of the world around you. Postpone important discussions with partners and close friends. Take it easy.

Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

This is a fast-paced day. Fortunately, you present well (which is generally the case for you); nevertheless, challenges that are related to your health or your job can’t be avoided. Cope as best you can. Your strong ambition will carry you through.

Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

No what happens today, do know that because fair Venus is in your sign, you will be charming and diplomatic with everyone. Focus on research and behind-the-scenes planning. Children might be an increased responsibility today. Social demands might also be a challenge.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

Today the Moon is in your sign, which can make you more emotional than usual. Be aware of this. However, when the Moon is in your sign, which happens for 2 1/2 days every month, it brings you extra good luck! Why not ask the universe for a favour? See what happens.

Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

Today is full of mixed messages for you. In one way – you are high viz. and people admire you. Furthermore, important people will listen to you if you have something to say. But in another way, you want to hide today or work alone or behind the scenes. Meanwhile, relations with partners and close friends might be strained.

Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

A friendship might be important to you today or perhaps it’s your relationship to a group or an organization? Financial limitations might challenge your plans about travel or dealing with foreign countries. Cope as best you can. Your hard work will bring results.

Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)

Tread carefully today because relations with bosses, parents and authority figures might be challenging. Nevertheless, you can make headway in discussions about shared property, funding, inheritances and financial plans. Meanwhile, grab every chance to travel because this will please you.

If Your Birthday Is Today

TV personality Simon Cowell (1959) shares your birthday today. You are energetic and purposeful. You speak with certainty and are committed to your choices. This year is a time of reflection for you. Explore philosophies that will give you a better self-awareness and get you closer to the true meaning of your life. Time to teach and learn.

Aries (March 21-April 19)

Some travel opportunities ahead this Saturday but you will really have to greet them with an open heart from the beginning in order for them to materialize.

Maybe someone invites you over or you find a great last minute deal. What I would suggest is to keep your mind open for such opportunities and also wait for the right time to put things in movement.

Taurus (April 20-May 20)

You are going to make yourself remarkable because of how you handle a minor but impactful situation today and this will probably change the way certain people regard you.

Whether they become all of a sudden aware of your abilities or they even say it out loud, don’t let this go to your head because you probably didn’t do anything out of the ordinary.

Gemini (May 21-June 20)

It seems that the stars won’t let you forget something, not you or those around and this will probably come back to hunt you.

The difficult part is that you are more concerned of when it hits than on the effect it will cause and this affects you in terms of not being able to enjoy any moment. Maybe you should come clean at your own pace.

Cancer (June 21-July 22)

You might be the first to admit certain things but this doesn’t mean that you will also have the number of followers you have expected.

You might be uncomfortable saying certain things out loud but gathering the courage to do it and then actually doing it doesn’t make you a hero or a very remarkable person and you should be aware of that while waiting for praise from others.

Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)

This will be quite a busy day if you don’t organize yourself from the beginning. Although you might play it cool or prove yourself completely stubborn about it, maybe it’s time to ask for help.

The more well wishing people you will have around you, especially now that all your family is together, the easier it will be to get through all that.

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

You will have to arm yourself with a lot of patience to get through this day, especially in terms of handling emotions, yours and that of those around.

You will also be challenged in terms of how flexible and adaptable you are and you will probably have to take some small but essential to how the day goes, decisions to affect everyone.

Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

This Sunday will give you the opportunity to enter in contact with someone or more people you haven’t been speaking to in a long time and this will show exactly how nostalgic and emotional you can get into such situations.

At the same time it might shatter a bit your confidence in yourself in case those people are doing better than yourself or what you expected.

You can also read this special Libra Daily Horoscope.

Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

You are going to spend your time in the company of some dynamic people and this will surely increase your expressivity as well.

You are bringing to light creativity that was well hidden inside you. Other than that, this is a good day for reading and research endeavors so if you have some plans in this regard maybe you should act upon them.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

The current disposition won’t really take a breath as it seems there are some confusing things that you need to sort out as soon as possible.

Other than that, there might be some sort of turn of events in regards to a plan you had and this will also require assistance from your side. Although this is Sunday, beware of paperwork.

You can also read this special Sagittarius Daily Horoscope.

Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

Be wary of mind games this Sunday, not only in regards of how they might affect you but also to the fact that you might try some on other people.

Stay away from manipulation and if you really want that badly for someone to do something, maybe try and be open to them and persuade them through explanations rather than hidden plans.

You can also read this special Capricorn Daily Horoscope.

Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

You are going to organize yourself a pity party and spend time with them complaining of the things you are all feeling are going wrong but to no avail as no one really has the motivation to move a finger.

Surprisingly enough this will actually prove good for your nerves and will provide you with a mean to cool off some of the things you might have gathered in time.

You can also read this special Aquarius Daily Horoscope.

Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)

You are overly suspicious and definitely not appropriate for the conditions you are spending time in and you should fight with these inclinations because no one deserves to be approached the way you are approaching certain people.

It might be a good time to brush up on your knowledge and learn something new though.

History of Tarot

The origin of Tarot and its everyday uses

By Christine Payne-Towler

This work began in 1970 when I purchased a used deck of the 20th Century Tarot in a book shop in Salem, Oregon. I was a freshman in college. With parents who were both therapists, I instantly recognized that Tarot was a tool with great potential for helping people grapple with the changing circumstances in their lives.

Soon I returned to the book shop to buy Volume 6 of the Brotherhood of Light Encyclopedia, entitled The Sacred Tarot. From there I learned about the connections the cards have with letters, numbers, astrology and a host of other symbol systems from antiquity. Naturally, I sent for C.C. Zain’s deck and began memorizing all the correspondences. Finding others who were using different Tarot decks made me conscious of the need not to put all my eggs in one basket, so I started searching for other decks that were constructed with these correspondences in mind. Soon the Thoth Tarot and the New Tarot for the Aquarian Age joined the first decks on my table, and I was plunged into a twenty year passion that continues to this day.

When I discovered that I could buy Tarot decks directly through U. S. Games Systems, I became a collector. I also employed all the decks I could make sense of in my private practice with clients, students and study groups. Playing with them in terms of real-life situations as I conducted readings gave me the opportunity to see how their similarities and differences operated with different psyches and psychologies.

Collecting decks only multiplied my questions about which versions were traditional and which were innovative. Since my first exposure to Tarot reflected the Hermetic influence of the Click here to read this rest of this article on the History of Tarot

Moon Alert

Avoid shopping or important decisions from 6:30 PM to 8 PM EDT today (3:30 PM to 5 PM PDT). After that, the Moon moves from Scorpio into Sagittarius.

Aries (March 21-April 19)

Something unexpected might impact your banking or financial matters, including inheritances and the resources of others. This could relate to your desire to help someone in need because you feel sympathetic to their plight. Meanwhile, tidy up chaotic situations at home.

Taurus (April 20-May 20)

A close friend or partner might throw you a curveball today. (Certainly, something unexpected will occur.) Nevertheless, you will feel sympathetic to them. They might also introduce you to a worthy cause or a charitable organization.

Gemini (May 21-June 20)

Something surprising might impact your health or your job today. For some, it could be something unexpected related to a pet. (In fact, pet owners should be extra vigilant today.) Meanwhile, a parent or boss might be generous or sympathetic to you.

Cancer (June 21-July 22)

Today you feel sympathetic to the needs of children, especially children in foreign countries. If you can do something to help them – you will. For example, there are charities that donate mosquito nets to prevent children from dying of malaria.

Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)

It’s a fast-paced day, and interruptions to your home routine are likely. Small appliances might break down. A family member might need assistance. If this is the case, you will be sympathetic and generous to whoever needs your help or your care. (You always are.)

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

Today your imagination is heightened, which means you will easily visualize something if you want. You might also drift off into day dreams and a world of fantasy. Meanwhile, you might feel tenderhearted to the plight of animals who are suffering. You will help, if possible.

Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

You love beautiful things and today you might be tempted to buy something gorgeous and elegant. However, something to do with your cash flow or your finances might be interrupted suddenly. (You might find money or you might lose money.) Protect what you own against loss, theft and damage.

Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

Today the Moon is in your sign dancing with Neptune, which will make you feel sympathetic and tenderhearted about the suffering of others. It will also heighten your Spidey sense and your appreciation of beauty. You might feel inspired to help someone somehow.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

You are the traveller of the zodiac because you love adventure and seeing new places and meeting new faces. Today however, you are keenly aware of the suffering in different countries and the plight and suffering of people of all ages. If you can donate money or help in some way – you will.

Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
