Weekly Forecast: February 3 – 9, 2019

2/7 ~ Mercury (your voice) ~sextile~ Jupiter (expansion):

Where the above (Sun sextile Jupiter) is more about YOU, this activation is more about your consciousness, ideas, thoughts & concepts (Mercury), which Jupiter expands in some way, helping you to ‘think bigger’, edit your personal Story and step up your game in some way. This is also a great energy to work with if you are in school, learning something new, expanding your knowledge base or gather new tools & information to support your goals. Your dreams are tapping you on the shoulder, demanding some attention. Mundane issues are not your concern right now, you want to figure out how to create the life you’ve been imagining. This energy also provokes within you the awareness & understanding that being generous naturally attracts generosity to you. The big picture and overall patterns which have led you to this point are being brought into the light. Feeling clear, sharp, alert and optimistic, you begin to realize that anything you can imagine (or remember), you can achieve.

2/7 ~ Sun (core Self) ~sextile~ Jupiter (optimism):

This energy is sometimes considered “lucky” but the success you achieve under this influence, is more likely due to a positive outlook and clear vision of who you are and what you want. Your life is expanding, your self-understanding is deepening and it will be easier to be around other people of higher consciousness, improving things and creating opportunities that benefit a larger number of people. There is a healthy dose of optimism around some grand plan, and things are moving, but make sure to do the foundation work to support this larger vision as it manifests in reality. If you are a teacher/guide/leader of any sort, this energy supports your group efforts, so giving workshops, seminars or new classes is totally supported and will benefit you, while serving others.

2/7 ~ Mercury (expression) ~sextile~ Mars (passion): 

This is a healthy selfish energy (aka self-preservation). Do not hold back this week. If you have a big dream or serious goal you have been working toward, then this is the time that may attract the assistance you need from the Universe. This is definitely a “work” energy, however, it brings with it the caveat that it is best if you work alone on something important to you. No one else is (or ever will be) as dedicated to your goal as YOU will be, nor should you expect them to be. You are now connected to the extra energy it takes to push your goals to the next level, bringing you a sense of accomplishment while outlining the next tasks to be done. Opportunities present themselves all the time, all you have to do is be ready!! If you are given the opportunity to make a presentation, go for it! Your clarity, energy & enthusiasm will be unmatched and that’s what people respond to. Don’t choose this time to be “shy” or doubt that you’re ready – you are definitely ready … otherwise you wouldn’t be here!! One of my favorite sayings is: “At the moment of commitment, the Universe conspires to assist you!” It’s time to decide if you are committed and how truly committed you are, to your own success.

2/9 ~ Mercury (acumen) ~sextile~ Uranus (the Awakener):

This energy says, it’s time to go with the flow – “new and different” being the flow. It wants to shake it up a bit – in a good way. However, if you feel like new and different is more like chaos and disruption, then you need to reflect and see if you aren’t being too rigid. Unwillingness to go with the (new) flow will make this energy harder to handle. This is also a good time to try to resolve any old issues or challenges – they are not going away without resolution and conscious release. Perhaps you’ve been trying the same thing over and over and it’s time to try something NEW – now is the time new ideas can/will come to you. Pay attention! Try to be open and receptive to unusual things, events or ideas and allow room for spontaneity. You may think you are doing one thing and look up and being doing something completely different – be open to exploring the new path!

As you prepare for the Earth pig or boar year and the next steps on your path, I suggest being mindful of breakthroughs available in these moments of revolutionary change. Since we are continually evolving, breakthroughs are a typical part of our process. Sometimes they are more obvious, other times more subtle. When we stay conscious and awake to what’s unfolding in our lives, we learn the art of discerning our own breakthroughs. Examples: (1) waking up with the answer to a long-standing dilemma (2) engaging in a heart-to-heart conversation with a loved one after weeks of distance or combativeness (3) realizing when approaching self-care that all of a sudden it seems simple to do what’s needed for optimal well-being.

Have you ever noticed feeling uplifted when you became aware that a challenging issue now has a solution? Sometimes the breakthrough is less obvious than this – like when you feel softer towards a person you have had words with, or when you reach an undetermined milestone needed to anchor a new habit and you feel less resistance to doing things the new way. Awareness is key to making the most of breakthroughs. When you realize you are having one, regardless of how small, this can encourage you to take the next appropriate steps. Being mindful of how you are shifting into a more positive direction can boost your frequency too. These responses can help you keep the momentum going.

Thriving in Earth Pig or Boar Year

Chinese New Years each have their own energy. The Earth pig or boar year officially starting February 5 has a focus on abundance and enjoying life. There is definitely a lighter tone in pig years. Playfulness and humor are often associated with such a year. For individuals, the impact depends on their own energy and approach to life along with level and application of spiritual mastery.

In general, to thrive in the pig year requires a certain skill set and mindset.

First, given the emotional roller coaster being experienced in 2019 – with lots of anger surfacing – it is vital to take the high road of spirit and stay in one’s heart. Not always easy to be sure, but important. Words will take on more importance this year – the words used, the tone, the timing, and the delivery. Mindfulness with words, therefore, is paramount. When angry or just upset, calm down before you send that text or see someone. Consider the long-term consequences of your words and actions. Second, use the abundance focus of this year to get your “house of money” in order. That means becoming more mindful and conscious about finances, income, spending and the priorities. Don’t forget to factor in vital self-care like good nutrition, exercise, meditation, body work and inner work – these things will nourish you, keep you going and help you to maintain a positive flow. Get up close and personal with your money to make it work for you. If you realize you have “money issues,” get help addressing them at a DNA level. Much of the dysfunction in our society regarding money has roots in the DNA. The dysfunction is typically on the following levels: early life conditioning, ancestral patterns, soul level themes from past lives, and the mass consciousness of humanity. Each time you heal a money pattern, because it will also be in the mass consciousness, you help heal humanity at large and so that society can change in big ways.

Third, invite a sense of play and fun into everyday situations – personal and work. This will help you enjoy even mundane things, raise your frequency higher, and bring in more abundance. As you become more abundant, connect with a knowing of how to grow your bank account or business and ways you can share your abundance with others. Sharing can be financial or through other means – like sharing of your time, expertise, and deep listening. Growing your business can involve updating how you do things so your approach fits with new ways people connect and do business. This updating can be crucial to success this year and beyond.

Remember daily the bigger picture of why you are alive and how you can be an integral part of humanity’s awakening. Allow that higher awareness to sit in the forefront of your mind as you go about your day. Trust that in the simple act of doing this, you are helping to transform the world and contributing to your own enlightenment.

We’re into another month and this one will be focused on cleaning up after the chaos of January. Remember that chaos is the result of dis-integration of old paradigms and we’re seeing a lot of that now. The energy focus for February is connection and the other 5D energies of collaboration, community, and creativity (which is also the theme of 2019). This can be a great month if we don’t get lost in confusion, self doubt, and forgetting that we are masters of our own universe and energetically sovereign.

February’s new moon is another one in the series that began in November 2018 where all of the new moons are at 0 degrees of their sign, which continues through April. The number zero (0) does not mean nothing, it is pure potential and means no-thing, energy waiting for an intention to bring it to form, energy looking for an energy container to fill. So see each new moon period until May as being pure potential, starting fresh and new. This new moon is in the sign of Aquarius, ruling community, friends, social groups, and connections.

Does that remind you of what’s going on in the world now? Think of how many connections we make via the internet that has created an interconnected global community. Think about the Q movement (whether you follow it or not) and the strong global community of an estimated 500 million or more dedicated, loyal, and committed followers it has. This is not a political statement, it’s an example of 5D energy at work which is all about community, connections, and expanding our awareness of ourselves as the human family on a global and universal level.

We also have a full moon at 15 Virgo on February 19 and this one brings Chiron, the wounded healer, into focus again. Chiron has been a huge factor in all of the work we have been doing for the past two years as its presence in Pisces brings up the old, deep, and very traumatic soul wounding we have suffered from for many lifetimes. These are being brought to our awareness and attention now because we say we want to ascend and these old soul wounds keep us grounded in their energy of pain and trauma. This is especially true this month as we have Chiron at the final degree of Pisces which Mercury will highlight later this month as it approaches this degree to begin its retrograde in March.

Yes we have a Mercury retrograde in March and its shadow begins on February 21 at the degree of the March 6 new moon. Prepare for an extra strong dose of healing potential all month and into March. I’ve described the special relationship between Chiron and Mercury, Virgo and Pisces before so I won’t elaborate here. Just know that with this month’s emphasis on relationships and love, with Valentine’s Day, having all of this Chiron energy bringing up soul wounds may be a bit difficult but it’s a reminder to close out these old karmic relationship and love energy cycles that have been so painful and unfulfilling so we can welcome new ones.

Let’s talk about Valentine’s Day, a day which some of you may look forward to, some may ignore entirely, and others dread it because it reminds them of how long it has been since they have had a relationship, or it is a reminder of every bad, failed, tough, and terrible relationship they have ever had.

Instead of being sad, mad, depressed, or angry this Valentine’s Day, do something nice for yourself. Treat yourself to a spa day, do something you enjoy, buy yourself some flowers, send yourself a beautiful card with a note about how wonderful and valuable you are, or treat yourself to a lovely lunch or dinner at your favorite restaurant.

Do you know that the word ‘restaurant’ is from a French word which means ‘to restore or revive’?

Why wait until someone comes into your life to do these things for you? Show yourself some love this month and then enjoy yourself while you’re doing it. And who knows, by going out and doing something nice you just may meet someone.

Miracle energy is high this month, so be prepared to use it.

This month we get a test of our energetic sovereignty and have the opportunity to explore our energetic maturity, which can be a lesson in how we move on from the past.

Do we get stuck in the energy of the past or are we going to move forward into the future?

Does the past define us in the present moment or is it just a blip on the radar of our life that serves as a reminder of where we have been that we do not want to visit again?

Or it’s about the lessons we learned that we’re going to use as a foundation to create stronger energy boundaries, more powerful intentions, and a greater focus on our self esteem, which we must have to become more self-loving.

We can be a drop looking for an ocean or the vast ocean itself.

Remember we cannot have someone in our life who loves us more than we love ourselves. This month’s focus on love and relationship can start with the relationship we have with ourselves, it is our most important one. January may have created a mess but in February we have the tools to clean it up and restore ourselves to our divine congruence that brings peace, joy, love, prosperity and most of all, harmony.
