I’m not just being a blowhard on today’s ‘Balloons Around the World Day.’ But I want to share a ‘secret’ Feng Shui love cure that uses balloons to make dreams come true. If you’re looking for love or to further an ongoing commitment, then fill a yellow balloon with helium on any night of the full moon. Tie the balloon with nine or 18 inches of red thread, and with a red marker write your love-related wish on the outside of the balloon. One wish and on one side of the balloon only. The Purpose of an Altar

The purpose of having an altar in your home can be as simple as reminding you to take time for serenity each day.

If you didn’t grow up with an altar in your home, having an altar now may seem like an exotic and unattainable idea. Yet having an altar does not have to be complicated or difficult, nor does it need to be based on a religion or a set of ideas that don’t seem to relate to you. An altar can be a simple, personal expression of what you want to focus on right now. You do not have to build anything or take up a lot of space. You do not have to buy anything new or follow a complex set of instructions to create your altar. All you have to do is have a general understanding of what an altar is and the willingness to allow yourself access to this wonderful, ancient tool of transformation.

At its most essential, an altar is simply a raised structure that serves as a resting place for meaningful objects. It focuses the eye and provides a place for contemplation and, if so desired, ritual. All of these elements can be quite simple. One idea for a simple altar is a pot with a bulb planted in it, set on a box. This altar to growth can act as a reminder to you that all living things bloom in their time. A simple ritual might be to write down dreams you would like to see come to fruition on scraps of paper. You might place these scraps of paper in the box, or under the flowerpot, or in an envelope you prop against the pot. As the flower grows, so will your dreams.

If you look around your home, you may find that you have already created altarlike arrangements without even really thinking about it; this is something we humans do quite naturally. A candle, a decorative box, and a vase of flowers are just a few of the common household objects that lend themselves naturally to the creation of an altar. Simply add intention and intuition, and you have created your first altar. Remember that it isn’t necessarily about the objects you place at your altar—it is the time you spend with it daily, taking the time to be with it for your sacred time.

You might think that pairing ‘World Farm Animal Day’ and Feng Shui might be difficult, but the two actually have a lot in common. Feng Shui started in China with farmers who found that the location of their farms often determined how they survive. Their animals also held special significance in the unfolding of this philosophy. For example, a pig is said to symbolize abundance, safety, fertility and success. During less urbanized days the intelligent pig was even considered to be man’s real best friend. Horses are said to symbolize fame while the cow and its milk producing abilities represented descendant’s luck and good fortune to those who fed it. In fact, cows were believed to be able to grant wishes and help one achieve their goals. Therefore, Feng Shui says to place an image of the pig in your ‘Wealth’ arena to increase your abundance. Or put a symbol or statue of a horse in the ‘Fame’ area to grow your recognition and rewards. Place a representation of a magical cow on or around your desk in order to turn wishes into reality. Gives new meaning to ‘Old MacDonald,’ doesn’t it?

I have two fantastic announcements to make to you. As you have probably noticed we have took on the responsibility of posting all the daily info now for the Southern Hemisphere. We tried two different way in this group for this to work without a lot of hunting and aggravation on the part of our followers. To no avail could we get it to work here. Our solution, was to take one of my graphic groups, link it to this site and use if for the Southern postings each day. The linking of the two sites was successful. Now the U. S. daily horoscopes, tarot, runes, etc., will remain here. For everyone in the Southern part, you will go to the top menu. There you will find the link, “Southern Hemisphere Divination.” Click there and it will take you to your daily postings. The daily horoscopes, tarot, runes, moon phase and etc., are the only thing on that site. To come back to the WOTC, you will notice right above the categories over there, is a banner to the main group. Click there and you are brought back here. We decided this is the only way to handle this undertaking. We were looking through the postings and in the main section, there was Horoscopes for Sept. 29 then right behind it was Sept. 30. To us, that would lead to too much confusion, plus aggravation. As far as the jokes, cartoons, quizzes, Daily OM, Daily Motivator and etc., we will do just one daily posting for these. You will be able to find those postings on this group. We had no request from the Southern Hemisphere for these. So they will stay here and one daily posting of each of those mentioned done. I believe everyone will find this more desirable and easily navigated.

The next topic, I have been wanting to discuss with you is The Apothecary. As you know, we started out opening the Apothecary here on WordPress. The only catch was there had to be daily posting done in the site also. If the posting stopped, the site would be closed. Plus the site had to be more informative than retail, which we didn’t like. We wanted to showcase the merchandise were we could sell it. The purpose of opening the site was to raise money for our organization. Producing more information than showing the products wasn’t going to make us money. For the last four or five days, we have completely stopped posting over there. We have searched the net and found a site that will allow us to post as much merchandise as we want and it is free. I have been working on it every spare minute I get. It will be done shortly and when it is we will give you the addy to it. We will also have a banner link to it on the main page. The site is turning out to be unbelievable. It is going to be too pretty to be a retail store, lol! I am sure you will enjoy it and we haven’t forgot the promise we made about your purchasing from it. We get it set up, you will get the discounts and coupons we originally promised you.

Those are the only things right now we have to tell you. We are sorry for all the recent confusion on the site. It takes us a while to get our poop together but we eventually do. Remember to watch for the opening of the Apothecary.

Ok, What’s Up? Everybody is being way to quiet, lol!

Your scaring me, my dearest of friends! I still do have some don’t I? You don’t hate me, do you? When I make a major change in the site and then I don’t hear anything from you……I really get worried. I worry you don’t like the new changes and you won’t tell me.

We put this ezine out everyday for you and your enjoyment. If you aren’t enjoying it or we have made changes that you don’t like, let us know. We want to know. I had stated in an earlier post that we had received numerous request from people that are in time zones that are a day ahead of us. They wanted us to post our Daily Horoscopes and stuff on their day. I stopped to think about it, I can understand it. Who would want to read yesterday horoscopes? Just to find out what was suppose to happen? Then I thought the people in the States and that time zone would enjoy it because “look it 6:00 in the morning and theirs our horoscopes!” Ok, I know you don’t get excited over the horoscopes, lol! But I thought all the way around it would be a good thing. Also word gets out that we are doing the day ahead horoscopes, we will pick up more friends and followers. The most important thing is that we will be attracting more people to our site and they will learn the truth about our Religion. That’s what it is all about anyway. Not Daily Horoscopes or Tarot Cards or even time zones, it is about spreading the truth about our Religion. I get excited just thinking about all the new countries that we might attract. That would be unbelievable.

But would you please let me hear from you? The silence is killing me!!!!

Well I am actually sleepy now. So I am getting ready to go to bed. I wanted to drop you a note real quick and let you know something. Since we divided up the Daily Posts up by time zones, we didn’t want you to have to dig for yours. So I added 2 new categories to the menu at the top of the page. You will see U.S. Horoscopes, etc., & Other Zone Horoscopes, etc.. Whichever applies to you, simply click there and hey, there’s your daily’s. I got to thinking about it and I knew it would be a mess, if you had to dig and hunt through all the posts. So this way, just click the tab at the top of the page and there is everything. Spells, witchcraft, wicca and other subjects will be put in their categories and show up in the main page. In other words, those subjects won’t be divided into time zones, lol!
