I am not sure if I believe this story or not. But with all the activity from our Sun this year who knows.

A Thought for Today

I saw this quote and knew it would be in time with many of our personal drummers. Always be proud of who you are and hold your head high with your shoulders up and squared no matter what others might say or post on social media about you, or even the way someone looks at you. Remember you are who you are supposed to be and to Hades with what others think about you.
Until we meet again blessed be dear sisters, brothers, and honored guests!

Moon Alert
There are no restrictions to shopping or important decisions today. The Moon is in Sagittarius.
Aries (March 21-April 19)
For the next four weeks, you will be focused more on money, earnings and dealing with your possessions. In fact, at a subtle level you will give more thought to your values in life. In other words, what really matters? It’s important to know this.
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
Today the Sun enters your sign where will stay for the next four weeks. This happens only once a year and when it occurs it gives you a wonderful boost to your energy. It is your chance to recharge your batteries for the rest of year. It also attracts people and favourable circumstances to you. Yay!
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
As your birthday looms ahead, this means your personal year is coming to an end. Therefore, the next four weeks are an ideal time for you to do some reassessing about where you are and imagine what you want for your future. Start to strategize a new path.
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
For the next four weeks, you will be more involved with friends as well as participating in clubs, groups and organizations. This is the perfect window of time to examine the role that these friendships and relationships play in your life. Remember, your friends are a reflection of you.
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
The Sun will be at the top of your chart for the next four weeks. This can only occur once a year and when it does, it symbolizes that you are in the spotlight. Furthermore, this spotlight is flattering! People are impressed with you even if you don’t do anything special. Good time to make your pitch.
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
Do whatever you can to broaden your horizons in the next four weeks. Study, explore new experiences, meet new people, travel and learn new things. Do not hide at home. Au contraire! Get out and discover your world!
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
You’re heading into a passionate four-week window! Physical, romantic passions will be high. You will also be passionate about other things including finances and jointly-held property. Get stuff done.
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
For the next four weeks, the Sun will be opposite your sign, something that can occur only once a year. Because the Sun symbolizes your energy, and now it is as far away from your sign as it can get all year, you will need more sleep. Look for ways to improve close relationships.
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
You can expect to get a lot done in the next four weeks because the Sun will be travelling through the part of your chart that will make you want to manage your life and examine your duties and your responsibilities to your own health. You will definitely want to “get it together.”
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
Your focus on amusement, social occasions, sports related activities, children, fun outings and vacations will be strong in the next four weeks. “I’m outta here!” You want to have fun! This is why your relationships will be more lighthearted and playful.
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
Home, family and your private life will be your main focus in the next four weeks. Many of you will be more involved than usual with a parent. Memories of the past will be bubbling to the surface of your mind. Good time to see a counsellor.
Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
The pace of your days will accelerate in the next four weeks because you’re busy! You’ve got places to go, things to do and people to see! This is also an excellent time to study and learn. Enjoy meeting new faces and seeing new places.
If Your Birthday Is Today
Actress Kate Hudson (1979) shares your birthday today. You are powerful person. You are creative and have a strong persona. You move fast when you decide that you know what you want. You are also a spiritual person. It’s okay to rest this year. It will be slower paced. Focus on close relationships to discover what really benefits you.

Planet Line over New York Bridge
Image Credit & Copyright: Stan Honda
Explanation: There’s an interesting sky to see if you wake up before the Sun. Lined up on toward the eastern horizon are four planets in a row. The planets are so bright they can even be seen from the bright sky inside a city. In fact, the featured image was taken from New York City, USA, with the foreground highlighted by the RFK (Triborough) Bridge. Pictured, the planets are, left to right, Jupiter, Venus, Mars, and Saturn. The planets all appear in a row because they all orbit the Sun in the same plane. This plane, called the ecliptic plane, was created in the early days of our Solar System and includes all planets, including Earth. The morning planet parade will continue throughout April and May, and will even be joined by Mercury in June.

A Great Website for Irish Pagan Information

I have been following this website Irish Pagan School for about two years and have taken a couple of courses through them about Irish Celtic Paganism. The first course I took was on Ogham and even though I have been reading ogham Staves for years I learned somethings I was doing wrong that would affect a reading and some new ways to go about using the Ogham alphabet. Their courses are do not cost a lot for the information you can gain plus you can go back to the material time and time again. You will get almost daily information usually in the form of a video through youtube.com. You can find the list of a variety of topics here by Irish Pagan School Videos I highly recommend watching a few if you are all interested in Celtic Paganism. Even with their Irish accent they are easy to understand.
Yesterday’s email announced a new way to gain information and I am really looking forward to listening to their podcasts. Here is the email I received including the link for the podcasts.

Printable – April 2022 Northern Hemisphere Gardening/Planting Moon Calendar
Thank you to Dr. Digital Philosophy for giving me the little push I needed to put the idea in my head to post this. I will post whatever other months I can find the month before, hopefully for both hemispheres.
Please read this first:
From Astro-Seek.com
1) Moon Phase x Moon Zodiac Sign:
Please keep in mind, that Gardening by Moon Phase and Gardening by Moon Zodiac Sign are two different/independent biodynamic systems and they might give you different or contradictiory gardening recommendations.
- a) Each Moon Phase (except Full Moon and New Moon) lasts about 1 week
- b) Each Moon Zodiac Sign lasts about 2.5 days
Try to experiment with these two systems to find which recommendations suits you the most.
2) Tropical (Astrological) x Sidereal (Astronomical) Zodiac:
(1-2 days difference in Leaf, Fruit, Root and Flower days)
There are two different zodiacs for determining the Moon Sign:
- a) Tropical zodiac (Astrological) is based on the seasons – Vernal Equinox is fixed as 0° Aries (The 1st Fruit day)
- b) Sidereal zodiac (Astronomical) takes into account Precession of Equinoxes and shifts 0° Aries back by cca 1-2 days. Maria Thun who was an authority on biodynamics was using this Sidereal zodiac
Try to experiment also with these two zodiac systems to find which system suits you better.

A Thought for Today

I believe in always follow the path of my own drummer not the path my family or society thinks I should follow. The same goes for letting my inner child out to play daily. Yes, I might look silly to others when I decide to take playtime outside with my fur kids, but I do not care as we are all having fun plus it tires them out for a nice long nap.
In what ways to you walk your own path and not one preset for you by family or society?
Blessed be dear sisters, brothers, and honored guests!

Sui / Following
Thunder beneath the Lake’s surface.
The Superior Person allows himself plenty of sheltered rest and recuperation while awaiting a clear sign to follow.
Supreme success.
No mistakes if you keep to your course.
SITUATION ANALYSIS:
Thunder from the Lake — the lulling, rhythmic roar of the faithful tide, eternally wearing away the stone of the shoreline, forever obedient to the phases of the moon.
The pull of the moon on the tide is the Following called for now.
As mighty as the tide is in its own right, it is ever the puppet of the invisible, irresistible gravity of the moon.
What cyclical forces pull you along?
Are you futilely attempting to resist a natural attraction?

Stars and Globules in the Running Chicken Nebula
Image Credit & Copyright: Stefan Steve Bemmerl
Explanation: The eggs from this gigantic chicken may form into stars. The featured emission nebula, shown in scientifically assigned colors, is cataloged as IC 2944 but known as the Running Chicken Nebula for the shape of its greater appearance. Seen toward the bottom of the image are small, dark molecular clouds rich in obscuring cosmic dust. Called Thackeray’s Globules for their discoverer, these “eggs” are potential sites for the gravitational condensation of new stars, although their fates are uncertain as they are also being rapidly eroded away by the intense radiation from nearby young stars. Together with patchy glowing gas and complex regions of reflecting dust, these massive and energetic stars form the open cluster Collinder 249. This gorgeous skyscape spans about 60 light-years at the nebula’s estimated 6,500 light-year distance.
