A veil of self-absorption is lifted and suddenly you gain access to an unbiased view of others. This is a rare moment when you can see yourself objectively and become aware of whether or not what you want in your heart is actually beginning to manifest in your life. Traditionally, the Full Moon phase stirs emotion, and this is because when you “see” what is happening, you may become upset if you’re experiencing the “same ole, same ole” — rather than the things you would like. If the Full Moon phase is a disappointment, on the next New Moon it’s time to take creative action in the direction of your dreams.

 Let’s Talk Witch – Invocation, the Who, What, When and How?

How?

Invocation is not so hard. You don’t need to be a rocket scientists for that, You need just a sparkle of imagination and most of all, You need to relax, to feel Your internal peace and power. This is usually made with meditation or some other relaxation method. I made a unique way to get this peace. Make some sort of copy of Your happy emotions (love, peace, happiness, wisdom,…). Than use this like some sort of defense shield. Whenever You feel angry, just think of something or someone You loved with all Your heart and just let Yourself, that the love flood every piece of Your body and mind. With peace You can invoke the Goddess of Light.

When?

Waxing moon for spells of invitation or increase

-Examples: spells to find love or get a job

Waning moon for spells of banishing or decrease

-Examples: spells to end loneliness or financial problems

Full moon for:

-maximum power

-coven work

What for?

The spells are often made according to zodiac circle. Every sign has its traditional needs, like:

-Aries

battle, beginnings

-Taurus

money spells, sex magic

-Gemini

communication

-Cancer

psychic work, lunar magic

-Leo

leadership, solar power

-Virgo

purification

-Libra

balance, work in law or for justice

But, often spells are not made for traditional purposes, but for custom.

This is very large question. It depends of what You believe in (I believe in Goddess, but for spells I use gods also). You can use Gods, Goddess, spirits, heroes, etc.

Let’s Talk Witch – Personalized Magick and Ritualistic Witches

One commonality that Witches and Wiccans share is that both approach magick in personal ways–ways that can be incredibly complex and very simple. Kitchen Wiccans and Hedge Witches, for example, rely heavily on pragmatic, uncomplicated magick, much of which originates in folklore and superstition. Hedge Witches traditionally do not belong to a coven. Solitary practitioners depend on self-study, insight, creativity and intuition as their main guideposts. Hedge Witches may be self-dedicated, but they are rarely publicly initiated. Similar to village shamans and cunning folks, they provide spells and potions for daily needs.

Some Witches practice magick with more ritualistic overtones, drawing inspiration from the Kabbalah (Jewish mysticism and magick) and other mystical and spiritual movements. Ritualistic Witches, for instance, approach every aspect of a spell as if it were part of a huge puzzle: Each piece needs to be in the right place for everything to work as it should. For example, the astrological phase of the moon should be suited to the task, and every part of the working should be carefully constructed to build energy toward a desired goal. Workings such as these have been used for a long time and are honored as part of the tradition from which the Witch originates. That is not to say that a ritualistic school has no room for variety or improvisation. It’s just that the improvisation usually happens with a set framework.
