Another person’s work will not resonate with you as much as your own words will. Even when working with a traditional spell, making modifications to the words to suit your specific goal can enhance the results.

Learning how to write original spells is important to you as a modern practitioner especially in times when the exact kind of spell that you are searching for cannot be found in a book.
Work a vague spell and you are likely to get a vague result. With the exception of a few special cases, the first secret to writing an effective spell is to be as specific as possible. This entails knowing exactly what you want. Try not to send mixed signals to the universe because if you do, it is likely to come back to you. This is why, as previously mentioned, meditation is often a prerequisite prior to dealing with spells.

4 tbsps. Frankincense or Myrrh
4 tbsps. Black powdered Iron

4 tbsps. Orris-root Powder (or oak moss)

1 bottle with a cork or lid

Parchment Paper
Black Ink or black ballpoint pen
Black thread

 
Mix the sea salt, orris-root powder, and the iron in a bowl. Then cut a piece
of parchment to fit inside your bottle and write on it with black ink:

Roll up the parchment, tie it with a black thread to bind it, and place it in the

it. Last, secretly bury the bottle in a place where it will not be disturbed and
no animals or people will dig it up. This spell is like a genie in a bottle. It
should never be unleashed or the power of the spell is lost.

Equipment: related candle (I only had white), an oil to dress it with (I used lavender as it is my favorite scent and I feel more relaxed and strong when using it), a lighter, and I put it in a pumpkin to make it more interesting and because it was Samhain.
Dress the candle, and say quietly to yourself the following words while lighting the candle, say it at least more than three times, I can’t remember how many times I said it but it was definitely a few at different times in the stages of the candle burning. Let the candle burn out, and say it once more when the candle has died. Then I left the pumpkin and candle for three days.
