Mirror spell to send energy

 

Mirrors are commonly used in magic to protect against negative energy by reflecting it away from oneself, but a mirror’s reflective properties could also potentially be used to direct positive energy toward something or someone. This spell will fill a mirror with your intention and the energy that you wish to send, and then project that energy just as the mirror projects the images it reflects. Remember, if you cast this or any other spell for someone, make sure you have his or her consent first.

Because the mirror is associated with the moon, it’s best to perform mirror spells in accordance with the phases of the moon. A waxing moon could lend its energy to your spell in an effective way, but even better is a full moon, when the moon’s power can amplify your own and when the moon itself is a perfect round circle, like your mirror. A round mirror reflecting a full moon can be especially effective, because the mirror becomes like the moon; not only is it round and bright, but it is reflecting the moon’s light as the moon reflects the sun’s light. The sun’s light reflected in the moon, the moon’s light reflected in your mirror, and your mirror reflecting the moon’s light into the world all culminate to be an extremely powerful piece of magic. As such, this spell is designed to be performed outside on the night of a full moon.

Needed:

A round mirror, preferably frameless or at least without a handle (although a silver-handled mirror could work, as silver is tied to the moon). Your mirror must be cleansed and charged for magical work to be most effective.

A length of ribbon in a color that represents your intentions.

Something that symbolizes the energy that you wish to send (a certain type of flower or herb, a small figurine, a picture, etc.)

Anything you’d like to use in casting your circle. Keep in mind that you only need minimal tools. Much of what we use for indoor rituals is largely unnecessary when working outside, because we are already surrounded by the elements and the power of nature. Processes and paraphernalia that we use to invoke these things are not needed.

Something small to eat and drink.

Find a quiet, private place outside to do your ritual, but be sure that the moon is clearly visible. Cast your circle (again, this does not have to be extravagant) and, if you wish, invoke a moon goddess or simply the Goddess to watch over your rite. Meditate for a moment to center yourself, and instead of grounding to draw energy from the Earth, fill yourself with energy from the moon for use in your ritual. This is not drawing down the moon (invoking the Goddess into oneself), but simply filling yourself with the moon’s gentle energy and power. Stand with your feet firmly planted on the ground. Raise your hands so that your palms are facing outward, and then bring them together so that the thumb and forefinger of both hands join to make a triangle shape. The triangle is significant because of its three points, which suggest the three aspects of the Goddess and her triple moon. Gaze up at the moon through the triangle formed by your hands, and imagine its light being focused through the triangle and onto you. Visualize it filling every area of your body, starting from the top of your head and then moving down to your feet. Imagine that you are glowing with the moon’s light, and feel the moon’s calm, gentle energy suffused throughout your body.

When you are ready, begin the ritual work. Place the mirror in the center of your circle, and position the ribbon around it to make a smaller circle. This circle marked out by the ribbon is an amplifier or charger that will fill the mirror with your intentions. (Note: while this part of the ritual CAN charge the mirror with power, this is not the purpose of this particular process. The mirror will be charged with power immediately afterwards.) Hold the representation of your intentions above the mirror so that it may catch its image. Speak your intentions — for example, you might say, “I will that this mirror be filled with peaceful, loving energy. With my own power and with the power of the moon and the Goddess, I fill this mirror with peace, love, and happiness.” As you speak, imagine that a light or a mist of any color you choose (the ribbon’s color, perhaps) is coming out of the symbol that you’re holding (both the actual, physical thing and the reflection of it in the mirror). Visualize the mist or light filling the ribbon’s circle, charging the mirror with your intentions and the energy that you wish to send. Imagine all of this light or mist going into the mirror, filling it until the circle is clear and all energy is within the mirror.

Then, when the mirror is fully charged with the energy you wish to send, fill the mirror with magical power. Remove the ribbon and hold the charged mirror up to catch the moon’s light. Just as you had filled yourself with the moon’s power, fill the mirror. Imagine light from the moon charging the mirror with power (you may also push the power within yourself into the mirror, as well). Visualize the mirror glowing with moonlight as well as the color of the energy you had put into it. Then, when you are ready, turn so that the mirror is facing the direction where you wish to send the energy. If you are sending it to a friend, point the mirror in the direction where you know his or her house to be. If you are not sure which direction that is, you might choose to point the mirror in one of the four cardinal directions — either West, for its associations with water (which, of course, is closely tied to the moon), or any direction that is relevant to your intentions. For example, if you are sending love, you might point your mirror south. Or, if you prefer, you can simply hold the mirror directly above your head, to let the energy fly into the universe in all directions. Release the energy in a burst of power and feel it leaving the mirror, flying out toward its destination. Know that it will do the work that you sent it out to do.

Then, conclude your ritual. Ground any extra energy into the Earth. Have a little bit to eat and drink. If you had invoked a deity to preside over your rite, thank them and present an offering to show your gratitude, and then say farewell. Thank the moon, close your circle, and it is done.

(You may choose to use variations on the processes in this ritual — for example, instead of reflecting an object in the mirror to fill it with your intentions, you might like to anoint and charge a candle and then reflect its flame in the mirror. You can alter this ritual however you like, and however you think would work best for you.)

A spell to open the third eye.

Fill a small purple bag (or a piece of cloth that you can wrap herbs in and tie up) with as many of the following herbs as you can:

mugwort
acacia
honeysuckle
peppermint
rosemary
thyme
yarrow
cloves
dandelion
lilac
lavender
Calendula – (marigold)

Gather the edges of the cloth and tie a string around it if you are using a cloth, or if you used a small purple bag, tie it shut. (Drawstring bags work best.) Using a dark violet marker, draw an eye on the front of the bag. Rub the bag on the third eye Chakra (forehead) whenever performing divination or needing psychic sight, and sleep with it under your pillow every night.

SPELL TO STRENGTHEN YOUR PSYCHIC SHIELD

 

The night before the Full Moon, find a place where your altar will not be disturbed for 24 hours. Put the cauldron in the center with a red candle on the right side, black candle of the left side, and white candle in the back; but do not light them yet.

Sprinkle a mixture of equal parts of elder blossoms, marjoram, mint and rue in an unbroken circle around the cauldron. Into a tiny vial, measure equal drops of clove, frankincense, jasmine, and lavender. Set the sealed bottle in the cauldron and leave until the night of the Full Moon.

On Full Moon night, take a cleansing bathe and robe yourself in white. Carry a good protective or purification incense through every room in the house. Make certain that the smoke drifts into closets. Return to the altar and light the candles. Take up the dagger or sword. Face the East and raise the sword in salute. To salute in this manner, simply hold the sword point upward in front of you. Say:

By the power of the rising sun, all evil in my life is done.

Turn to the South, salute, say:

By the power of darkening night, my shield is strong, my armor tight.

Turn to the North, salute, say:

By Full Moon in blackening sky, I am not alone. My help is nigh.
The Goddess’s hands around me stay, To keep me safe by night and day.
Be gone, foul spirits, unbidden here. I send you back, I do not fear.
For I have won. I am set free. You have no further power over me.

Face the altar and take up the vial of oil. Put a drop of oil on your finger and anoint your forehead, heart, solar plexus, wrists and ankles. As you do this, visualize a shining blue suit of armor slowly descending over your body until you are entirely protected. Cap the bottle and store in a safe place.
Thank the Powers for their help and extinguish the candles. Apply the oil and repeat the chants whenever you feel the armor is slipping.

Place the candle in the middle of the room. Sprinkle the salt in a circle deosil around the candle. Light and say:

Home Cleansing Spell

HOME CLEANSING SPELL

This is a great spell used to clean your home of negative energy.

Spell performed preferably during a waning moon but can be cast at any needed time for cleansing during any moon phase. Any evening after sunset, Light the end of a sagebrush stick. Have a glass of water and a bowl Containing a shallow pool of water nearby. Blow out the flame and blow on the embers Of the stick to increase the smoke.

In each room of your house, Blow smoke in each of the four directions. Blow gently upon the burning stick As you face each wall of the room. Say aloud:

I clear this space of all negativity
And of the energy of people or things
That have no purpose in this household.
I ask that this clearing be gentle
And that all of this energy be returned to its source.
 

When you are done with your whole house, Return to the room you started in. Take the stick and dip it into the shallow Bowl of water to douse the embers. Take a sip of water from your glass. Say aloud:

This home is a gentle and supportive environment.
I offer gratitude to the universe that this is done.
So it be And so it is.

Spell to Cleanse A Home from Negative Energy

SPELL TO CLEANSE A HOME FROM NEGATIVE ENERGY

These are especially good measures to take when moving into a new place, beginning ritual activities in a new space, or to release bad feelings when an inhabitant has been sick or has died.

To cleanse a single room – on top of a newspaper, set a blue candle. Surround with a circle of salt.
Burn a little sage in the room. Light the candle, making sure it won’t tip over. Close the door and let the candle burn down. When finished, take newspaper, salt, and candle leaving and bury far from your home.

To cleanse a house – select four corners. set four candles: north – black, east – white, south –
purple or dark red, west – blue.

Sprinkle a little salt at each doorway and window. Burn sage in each room, paying special attention to windows and doors. Strew fragrant herbs (rosemary, basil, lavender, others you like or consult a reference) and sweep them up with the salt.

Cast the swept herbs out your front door. You may want to sweep them off your porch so they aren’t on your property anymore.

Light a cinnamon incense stick in the center of the room and walk to the north east corner or wall. Say:

“Earth and air, purify to good, blow away evil.”

Draw a pentagram of smoke and use the incense stick to stab through the center. Walk to the Southeast corner of the room and say:

“Air and fire, blow away evil, burn away pain.

Repeat the pentagram and stab the center, then walk to the Southwest part of the room. Say:

“Fire and water, burn away pain, wash away fear.”

Repeat pentagram and stab. Walk to the Northwest part of the room and say:

“Water and earth, wash away fear,
bury all negativity, purify to good.”

Repeat pentagram and stab. Walk to the center of the room. Point incense stick to the sky and say:

Items You Will Need:

1 tablespoon bicarbonate soda
5 drops essential oil juice of 1 lemon
1 teaspoon good oil, such as sweet almond
½ cup sea salt

Stir the soda, essential oil, lemon juice and oil together and then blend in the salt. Dissolve in the bath water. Light 4 candles (colors of your choice) and place at the 4 corners of the tub. Step slowly into the bath water, feeling it envelope around you. Close your eyes.
Visualize yourself laying on the surface of the ocean. There is nothing around you, you are alone and at peace. Feel the warmth of the sun beating down on you. Say either out loud or quietly to yourself:

Be Comforted, All is well Now you are blessed.
You have life to nurture and nurture you.
Be calm. Be easy. Be Comforted. You are blessed.

To make these incense you will need:

1 tablespoon pine needles
1 tablespoon juniper
1 tablespoon cedar

Make sure all ingredients are completely dry. Grind ingredients together and burn on charcoal. While the incense are burning chant the following:

Spirits of the corners,
Winds of the quarters,
You who stand watching,
And you who hear my voice,
Guard well my home tonight

Herbal Witches Cleansing Bottle Spell

HERBAL WITCHES CLEANSING BOTTLE SPELL

To make an herbal cleansing bottle, pour a layer of sand in a large clear bottle. Add layers of dried herbs, one at a time: first rosemary; then lemon peel, sage, cedar, black peppercorns, lavender, dill, bay leaf, and rowan.
When the bottle is full, focus cleansing protective energy into the herbs and sand, and see a golden light radiating from the bottle. Visualize the herbs driving away negative influences. Cork and seal the bottle with white wax.
Using a permanent marker, draw the Algiz rune on one side of the bottle, and on the other side draw a pentagram. Set the bottle near your front or back door, and every six months, uncap, Pour herbs out into the woods or your compost heap, and thoroughly wash and dry the bottle before filling it with a new round of herbs.

Home-cleansing methods are of great importance in Hoodoo folk-magic.

Here is a simple procedure for blessing a new home and ridding a house of any unwanted spiritual influences. Wash down the wood work and floors with Chinese Wash (or Van Van Oil in water) from back to front and out the front door and throw the remaining wash water out the front door or in the front yard. If there is no front yard, carry some of the wash water to the nearest street intersection or crossroads and throw it to the East.

Then use a brand new broom to sweep the house from back to front and out the front door. Some folks also like to sprinkle Van Van Powder at the front threshold and sweep that away from the house. After cleaning as above, put down pinches of salt in the corners of each room or, if you are in a hurry, four pinches of salt at the four outside corners of the house.

Wear a yellow garter to attract a man and keep him faithful.

Carry a wasps nest to attract men. If you attach it to the aforementioned garter, so much the better.

The following love charm will probably only be practical if you work in a morgue or have legal access to dead bodies. You must obtain a needle that has been stuck into a dead body. Cover it with dirt in which a corpse has been laid. Then wrap the whole thing in a piece of cloth cut from the shroud that has covered a dead body. Keep this charm with you to make any woman fall in love with you.

If you take the needle from the above charm and stick into the footprint in your own yard where your lover has stepped, he will have to stay with you whether he wants to or not. If he leaves you, he will get sick and if he stays away very long he will die.

Use the following spell if your lover has been away from you for a while and you want to see him. This spell is said to work regardless of circumstances and is most effective on married men or those otherwise engaged or involved.

Arrange your shoes in a “T” shape. As you do so recite the following incantation:

“When my true love I want to see, I place my shoes in the shape of a ‘T’.”

If you have quarreled with your true love and want to make up, prick the middle finger of your left hand with a needle. Write your initials on an ironwood chip and bury it. He’ll be back within three days.

If you want to inspire desire and lust in your lover, keep dried turkey bones in the room or car where the two of you will meet. This will put him or her in an amorous mood.

The dried tongue of a turtle dove, likewise concealed, will render a girl unable to resist your advances.

There are many more spells and customs among the people of the Ozarks, but it’s difficult to know how many people still practicing such things. The area, especially around Branson and the Lakes has become the new home for a lot of fundamentalist Christians who believe that theirs is the only history. And, they are very fearful of anything that seems to them to be witchcraft. So, witches in the area are very much in the closet.

Items You Will Need:

  • Glass bowl
  • Small round mirror
  • Spring water
  • 3 white floating candles
  • White flowers
  • Tumbled Moonstones

The Spell:

Arrange a centerpiece for your altar. Use a clear glass bowl or dish and place a small mirror in the bottom of the bowl. Add water, and place three white floating candles in the dish.

Next add three white floating candles. Surround your entire centerpiece with white flowers moonstone. Gaze into the mirror and meditate on the reflected candlelight.

Invoke your divinities as of your pantheon. Particularly gods of Abundance and the moon. Do not invoke divinities not of your own pantheon and gods you know nothing about.

After first invocations, offerings and first prayers, light the candles floating in the water. Now hold your hands over the bowl and start to charge the whole with abundant silver light. As you do this repeat this chant slowly night times:

“As the Moon controls the tides of the sea,
So it’s rhythm rules our living lives.
Through cycles that are ever changing,
first waxing and then waning,
In different phases, yet the same.
What was once poor, lacking and desolate,
Now bring forth abundance for ____________.
My lady of the moon _______,

It is more effective preformed at midnight on a full moon. Just follow this simple and easy spell and if you believe enough it just might happen. There is no harm in trying!!

  • Sandalwood oil/Patchouli (optional, but recommended)

The Spell:

On the green candle write the names of the people taking part. If you wish anoint it with either the Patchouli or Sandalwood oil. ?While doing this recite the chant;

As the Gods and Goddesses lend us their strength,
we draw it into for our use.
We cast our energies into the universe to create our destinies as we would have them be.”

Light your candle. Focus on the energies being sent into it and transformed as they escape through the smoke and flames into power to do our bidding, reciting this chant.

Bring wealth into my life to stay,
Let all my problems melt away.
Let money come forth now to me.
With harm to none,
so mote it be.”

Allow the candle to burn out by itself.
