Hear ye! Hear ye! Mercury is now retrograde until Aug. 28. It’s important to know that Mercury retrograde is a poor time to buy electronic items, ground transportation (cars, trucks, bikes), cell phones and computers. Furthermore, AFTER the retrograde is over on Aug. 28, Mercury will still be “behind” because it won’t catch up to the degree it was at when it first went retrograde until Sept. 12. Therefore, be smart: If you’re buying something expensive like a cell phone, a car or a computer wait until Sept. 12 or later. Disappointing, I know. Actually, I am planning to buy a new laptop, too. I’ve been planning to buy one for the last five years.
Aries (March 21-April 19)
“Where’s my sunglasses?” This week is about fun, pleasure and good times! Romance, social outings, vacations and playful times with kids on the menu. Having said that, delays at work plus, confused communications, errors, misplaced items, late deliveries and transportation problems are unavoidable. “Holy havoc!” You might hear from old co-workers or employees. This feeling of looping back into the past might also materialize with health concerns. Something that used to bother you might suddenly return. (This again?) Nevertheless, this is a fabulous, playful week! Sports, fun activities with kids, social outings and romance will dazzle!
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
Mercury retrograde is here, and it’s occurring in the part of your chart that affects the arts, sports, the entertainment world, the hospitality industry and all aspects of your creativity. It also highlights romance and children. Because this influence is about the past, almost certainly, you’ll meet old flames in person, on social media, in conversations with others or even in your dreams. You might also find yourself dealing with kids you haven’t seen for a while, or situations from the past. (“This again?”) However, this week is an excellent time to finish creative projects! If you’ve been writing, painting or doing something and you’re stymied by a block – you can have a great breakthrough!
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
This is a happy week for you because you will learn new things, meet new people and above all, travel and see new places! (You love this.) Yes, you will expand your world in an upbeat, fun-loving way! It’s an excellent time for writers, teachers, actors and salespeople. Meanwhile, with fiery Mars in your sign, you’re invigorated. You have energy! This will be a good thing because old family issues are back in your world. Family reunions might occur. You might be involved with family members you haven’t seen for a while. Memories from the past will be like clouds wafting through your mind. Fortuitously, this is the perfect time to finish home repairs.
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
Guess what you’re thinking about this week? Money, earnings and cash flow, which is a good thing because if you’re clever (and you are), you will see ways to boost your income or increase your assets and wealth. Ka-ching! Meanwhile, this current retrograde might hit you more than most signs. (Thud!) Expect transportation delays and car problems, along with mixed-up communications, missed appointments, confused meetings, misplaced items, computer glitches and an inordinate number of silly goofy, mistakes that are frustrating. Aarggh. On the upside, although these silly things require more time and effort on your part, they are not serious. They’re just annoying. Meanwhile, you can finish writing projects and old business. Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
This is a powerful week because the Sun is in your sign dancing with Jupiter; and Jupiter is associated with enthusiastic groups. Furthermore, Jupiter is sometimes called Jove, which is the origin of the word “jovial.” Yes, it’s a fun week ahead! This means you’ll enjoy the company of others this week, especially groups. You might also include some kind of competition or physical sports. (Get ready.) Meanwhile, Mercury retrograde might slow things down financially for you. Cheques in the mail might be late. Financial negotiations might drag on. Be smart and double check everything because errors pertaining to money and cash flow are likely. (“No money left? How can that be? I still have cheques!”)
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
The two signs feeling the biggest brunt of Mercury retrograde this week are Cancer and Virgo. You will feel its influence because Mercury retrograde is taking place in your sign. (Gulp.) Confused communications, misplaced items, having to make several trips because you keep forgetting things, meeting people at the wrong place and everything running late, to mention nothing of computer breakdowns or transportation problems. Yikes! Don’t worry – you’re not losing it. These snafus are not critical; they’re just maddening. Fortunately, to compensate for this, you will have a magical ability to finish old business and wrap up stuff. You’ll be focused, energetic and productive. Major bonus!
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
