Allow it to inspire a creation such as a collage, painting, poem, song, woodworking, sewing project, flower garden, dances, new business, a dream vacation, and so forth. This spell is meant to bind the energies around a person to stop them from effectively using magic.

You will need:

Full/New Moon/Sunlight
An energy source or an object of which energy can be drawn
Bowl of water – optional

First, take out a glass bowl, and fill it with water. This is used to gather energy for the spell, but if you don’t want to use the water, choose another energy source. Then, have the water reflect the sun or moon, and say:

Solar flare, Lunar mist
I call on thee this day
Bring forth your light,
strength and power,
so cast this spell I may.

(Imagine the sun/moon energy flowing into the water)

Like I stated above, this is completely optional. Now, to form the barrier. Draw upon your energy source, and send it towards your target. Once you have reached them, attempt to have your energy surround them in a bubble. Then, say:

Light, Earth, Spirits strong
Leave ‘s presence forever long
Let their powers cripple, and fail with dismay
I hereby banish your magic on this very day!
So mote/might/may it be.

Imagine the bubble drawing the energy from your target and all around him, draining him of magical resources. Continue feeding the bubble/shield/wall with energy until you feel you can release them.

 

WARNING: Use this with caution, there are currently no counter-spells to stop this. Secondly, there is a possibility your target can breach the barrier if she/he is physically touching a powerful energy source which has greater energy than the barrier itself.

To create the masque, you’ll need one egg yolk, two tablespoons of wild honey, one teaspoon of almond oil, and three drops of lavender essential oil.

After dark, whip the ingredients until smooth and creamy, then apply to your face and throat. Take a deep breath, merge with the divine goddess and say this prayer for health:

-Cast during a full moon
-Need: rosemary, lavender, black pepper, cinnamon, ginger root,6 white candles, and 1 black candle

Place all candles in a circle around you. Cast a circle, face the North, and meditate for a while. When finished, light the white candle to right of the black candle and continue clockwise. Use a white candle to light the black candle. Light the mixture of herbs and spices, and recite:

“Whatever evil comes to me here,
I cast you back, I have no fear.
With the speed of wind and the dark of night,
May all of your harboring take flight.
With the swiftness of the sea
And all power found in me
As I will, so mote it be.”

Loudly say “I cast you out” then blow out the black candle as hard as possible. Let the mixture continue to burn and go out on its own. Etch an eye into the black candle, wrap it in white cloth, and bury it in your back yard.

You will need three white stones you find in nature and a basin or bathtub filled with water.

At midnight, rinse the stones in cool water for at least a couple of minutes to clear them of any residue energies. Fill the basin with water. Hold your hands over the stones, and say three times:

May the Goddess and God bless these stones as a true oracle.

Toss the stones, one at a time, into the basin of water. If they make a clear splashing sound, the answer to your question is “Yes.” If they make a dull, muffled sound, the answer is “No.” Also, make a note of any images in the ripples of the water as you toss the stones into the basin. When you are finished, return the stones to nature.

The Witches Magick for the 7th Day of the Barley Moon – Barley Moon Ritual Oil

BARLEY MOON RITUAL OIL

 

You will need a ballpoint pen and a white taper candle. To make the oil, you will need eight teaspoons of apricot oil, three drops of vanilla extract, three drops of rose-scented oil, three drops of patchouli-scented oil, three drops of neroli-scented oil, and a cup. Note these are scented oils, not essential oils. Scented oils are diluted essential oils that are specifically formulated to be used on your skin.

After dark, draw a sacred circle and call in the elements. Use the ballpoint pen to inscribe the words, Barley Moon Dream Candle on the candle body. Put the oils in the cup and stir together clockwise with your fingers. As you do, chant:

May this oil be blessed with divine lunar power.

Rub a thin film of oil on the candle body, and put it in the candleholder. Anoint yourself with the remaining oil. Rub the soothing ritual oil into your arms, hands, feet, legs, torso, and throat. Wipe any remaining oil from your hands, and light the candle. Merge with the divine and say:

Barley Moon dream candle so bright

May your light guide me tonight

By luminous moonbeams and star streams

May I understand the meanings of my dreams

So be it! So dream it! Blessed be!

Gaze into the candlelight (or its reflection) for at least fifteen minutes. As you do imagine a dream you have had recently. Imagine its meanings being illuminated in the candle flame. Take a few deep breaths to intensify your focus and to clarify the images and sensations.

When you are done, bid farewell to the elements and pull up the circle. Make a note of your dream and the dream meanings you received in your journal. Allow the candle to burn down safely.

Consecration 2

A consecration ritual to be used to rid a place of unwanted presences and for the general cleansing of a location. This is an excellent ritual to perform after a conjuration.

On a piece of natural paper, draw a simple pentacle. In the center of the pentacle, place a drop of Consecration Oil or consecrated rainwater using the tip of your right index finger.

Each room you wish to cleanse should be entered holding the pentacle in your right hand and the following invocation should be spoken aloud:

By the power of the spirits of all light and good
I command you evil to take your leave
And linger no more
By the power of the spirits of all light and good
I banish and cleanse
So that no foul or unclean spirit
May rest here
So that no evil will or intent shall exist
And the power of these too
Shall likewise be gone
By the power of the spirits of all light and good
I ask this be done.

When this has been completed, the piece of paper upon which the pentacle was drawn must be burned so that only ashes exist. The ashes must then be disposed of so that they are removed from the place you have cleansed and consecrated.

This ritual is used to consecrate or cleanse an object, such as a magickal tool, talisman or any object you wish to bless or cleanse.

Light seven candles and place them to form a circle. Recite the following incantation:

Circle of light,
Cleanse and bless,
All which enters your domain.

Place a small bowl of rainwater in the center of the circle and speak the following words:

Circle of light,
Accept this water of the earth,
In it may your powers reside.

Remove the bowl from the circle. Lightly sprinkle some of the water over the object you wish to consecrate. If you have Consecration Oil, place some on the tip of you right index finger and touch the object with it three times and no more than three times. If you do not have Consecration Oil, skip this step.

Place the object in the center of the circle of candles. Once you have placed the object in the circle, do not move it again until the ritual is completed. Starting with any candle, extinguish the candles one at a time in a clockwise rotation. When all of the candles have been extinguished, the ritual is complete, the object has been consecrated, and may be touched and moved.

Light a single candle. Holding the bottle of Protection Oil or container of consecrated rainwater in your right hand, recite the following incantation:

Let its infinite force take hold and remain
For with this consecrated liquid
I ask you watch over and fend off

This having been said, with your right index finger dipped in the oil or water, place an X mark on the frame of each window or door that leads to the outside of the dwelling.

As you make each mark, speak these words:

Let no evil enter

When a mark has been made on the frame of each opening, extinguish the candle.

On the eve of a full moon, light three candles and place them in the formation of a triangle. In the center of the triangle, place a hair from your head or body, or a clipping from one of the fingernails of your right hand.

Recite the following incantation:

Lest harm be done
And of your powers a mockery be made

Using Protection Oil or natural vegetable oil on the tip of each of your index fingers, draw the symbol below in the palm of each hand:

Extinguish the candles. Place the hair or nail clipping near the main entrance of the room in which you sleep and leave it there. Do not wash your hands until the sun has risen.

A spell to invoke the powers of the Moon upon a personal action. This spell is specially designed to work under the powers of the moon using specially prepared moon oils. On the night of a full moon, near midnight, draw a circle on a flat surface, such as a table or counter top, with Moon Oil or fresh rainwater. In the center of the circle, place a single lighted candle.

Close your eyes and picture in your mind’s eye that action which you need or desire to take and upon which you wish to invoke the moon’s powers for assistance in the deed. Keep your eyes closed and count silently and slowly to seven. Upon reaching seven, open your eyes and repeat the following incantation while staring into the flame of the candle:

Spirit and power of the moon
Guardian of the night
Hider of secret things
Keeper of the second watch
Look upon me
And this thing I wish to do
Extend your hand and hold fast
To this deed that it may not fail
Lest your presence be ignored
And your aid held worthless
In the eyes of the ignorant

On the eve of a full moon, close to midnight, dip the tip of your right index finger into either Moon Oil or natural vegetable oil and trace a pentacle on a flat surface, such as a tabletop or counter top. Light five candles and place one at each point of the pentacle. In the center of the pentacle, place a small glass of your favorite beverage.

Recite the following incantation:

I call to the Moon
That her powers cast upon this night
Be caught and kept
Consumed in faith
Revered and praised
Used for the good intent
That no evil shall pass

This spell is for binding a violent or dangerous person from doing harm.

 

Items You Will Need:

Photo of person to be bound OR a piece of white parchment paper with their whole name written on it in black ink or dove’s blood ink.

18 inches or so of black silken cord or black thick string, like embroidery floss.

A small glass jar w/ cork lid.

A small white candle

A small black candle

Light both your candles. Write the name on the paper or take the photograph in hand. Fold the paper or photo into as small a rectangle as possible. Take the cord in hand and begin to wind it around the rectangle, for a total of nine loops, saying aloud in a clear, strong voice:

I (insert your name here), bind thee (insert name of offending person here)

from causing harm to (insert name of victim here),

from exerting control over this person, from influencing this person.

I bind you from making further plans with this person.

I call upon the _________________________(angels, any other guides or deities you prefer.)

to assist me in this righteous cause!

Place the paper into the jar. Urinate into the jar & cork. Seal all around the cork with the black candle wax. Let the candles burn themselves out safely. Place this jar in a place where no one will disturb it.

The idea in this spell is to program your crystal with healing powers.

You will need a pen, a piece of paper, two green candles, and a clear quartz crystal.

After dark, write down on the piece of paper what ailment you want to heal. Draw a circle of light, and call in the elements. Light the two candles and dedicate them to the Goddess and God:

Goddess and God of healing,

Please bless my circle with your

healing light.

 

Using your breath, clear the crystal of its energy field. Now, program the crystal for healing by holding it in your power hand and gazing deep within the lattice structure of the crystal. Envision a green healing color filling the crystal from the inside out until the whole thing shines brightly with a healing energy that travels from the crystal to your body. Sense the healing energy as it energizes the area of your body that needs healing.

Burn the piece of paper, thus releasing yourself from the disease. Keep the talisman with you during the rest of the Barley Moon cycle, letting its healing energy keep you free from any illnesses that may come lurking. This is the time when flowers are in bloom and the energy of faeries is everywhere. In this spell you are creating a faery circle as a way of bringing this fluorescent energy into your life.

You will need a pot of marigolds and thirteen sunflower seeds.

Place the pot of marigolds in a sunny location. Call to Mari, Queen of the Faeries, to protect and give life to the flowers:

Queen Mari, give life to this flower

That bears your name and glows

with your divine fluorescence.

Place the thirteen sunflower seeds in a circle around the marigolds. As you do so, call out to the faeries:

Marigolds and sunflowers,

Spread the magic of faery powers.

Lady A’s Specialty of the Day – Reverse Magick

When one feels under psychic assault or if concerned that they are the recipient of adverse
magick, one solution is to use reverse magic. One effective method of implementing this is utilizing candle magic.

A reverse candle is one that reverses whatever the individual who is attempting to harm may be doing. If there is a specific individual in mind (an ex-spouse, an ex-lover, an ex-employer, etc.) then write his/her name on the candle (red on top half, black on bottom half) using permanent markers or some other indelible method. Each night for three nights, burn about a third of the candle.

While the candle is burning, visualize positive outcomes (such as a move to a new location for
the other party, a move to a new location for you, successful mediation of a problem, etc.) and
how the situation can get reversed for the good of you and any other individuals who may be
involved (children, elderly parents, etc.) including the individual who’s name is inscribed on the candle.

When the candle is burned down to a stub dispose of it immediately by taking it to a body of fresh water. Once the candle is in the water, turn and walk away. If it is winter or if you can’t get to fresh water then bury it in the earth (not near your home) or dispose of it in a dumpster or some other waste area as far away from your home as possible.

When you return to your home after the disposal, return by a different route from the one you
took to get there. It is critical to think positively during the process. Negativity will bog the
process down. Upon your return home create a positive spell outlining what you want the
situation to be — use a white candle or one that represents the positive to you.
