One red candle

Rose oil

Each night thereafter, wear this charm over your heart, until the desired effect is accomplished. When it has been fulfilled, you should take the charm back to the field where you took it from and bury it in the same spot where it was gathered.

Sometimes, when we have resolved to do something or stick to a regime, our resolution wavers. This spell will help strengthen it.

You will need:
A purple candle
White thread

Start by winding the cotton three times deosil(clockwise) around the candle, about a third of the way down. As you do so, focus on your breathing, taking deep breaths in and out. On the third breath, take a deep breath and breath into the wrap of cotton and hold it for a count of six. Visualize yourself being surrounded in purple light to give you strength.

When you are ready, light the candle and focus on the flame. As you do so, ask out loud for strength in your resolve and help with keeping your focus on the task. End with the words ‘and harm to none, so mote it be.’

To begin light 1 pink candle, 1 green, and a black candle. Have plenty of privacy, be sure that nobody else can see you (close all curtains, doors, windows, etc.)

Now, get a bowl full of water and put 3 drops of green dye in it.Now that you’ve done that, slowly tip the bowl over each candle allowing them to be extinguished while at the same time chanting:

“Curse or Hex, I know not which,
Leave my presence and my life.
So I command it, so shall it be!”

You must do this very slowly and imagine the spell being lifted from your body and all the good luck and fortune that will soon come to you and the evil that will go to the person that placed the hex/curse upon you.

Lady A’s Specialty of the Day – Kick the Habit Spell – Addiction Spell

Addiction Spell

You will need:
⦁ Cinnamon
⦁ Ginger
⦁ Chili powder
⦁ Charcoal disk
⦁ A red candle
⦁ A black candle
⦁ Sage
⦁ An empty pack of cigarettes (or whatever bad habit you’re trying to overcome)
⦁ Matches
⦁ A bowl

Prepare your working space however you normally do. If you’re going to cast a circle, go ahead. Likewise, if you call upon deities, now would probably be the time to do so. I did this on the first night after the lunar eclipse, but any time during the waning moon would work.

Light the red candle. Say, “Red is the color of strength, red is the color of power. I have the strength to kick this habit, day by day, hour by hour.”

Light the black candle. Say, “Black is the color that sends things away, and gives me the strength to kick this today.”

Working between the two candles, mix the cinnamon, ginger and chili powder together, grinding them until they are powdery. Place the charcoal disc in your bowl, and sprinkle the cinnamon mixture on top of it. Light the charcoal.

You should have a nice burning pile of ground herbs now. Slowly tear the cigarette package (without the cellophane) into small pieces. As you tear the paper, close your eyes and visualize the nicotine and tar leaving your body(or for drug addiction, the drug). Picture your lungs(drugs – body) changing from black and icky to pink and healthy.

Place the torn pieces in the bowl with the burning charcoal. Light a match, and place it in there so that the torn cigarette pack begins to burn as well. It may not stay lit, but try to get it to burn a little bit. Say, “I burn what has no control over me. The addiction is gone, and I will be free.”

Light the sage, and smudge the area around your work space. You are cleansing yourself of the effects of the bad habit, and freeing your body and soul from the addiction. Particularly smudge the area over the bowl with the burning cigarette pack in it. Say, “Within me is the strength, no doubt, and with sage I cleanse the air without.”

Place your smudging sage in the bowl as well, and take a moment to reflect. This working is not about the habit itself, but about your rejection of the addiction. Realize that you will physically – and psychologically — no longer need the habit.

Allow everything in the bowl to burn out on its own. If possible, allow the candles to burn out on their own as well.

To create this soothing bath, you will need a warm bath, three fresh bay leaves, a fresh lemon, a sliced apple, your lover, and your favorite scent. Just before you make love tonight, take this bath to feel loving and charming.

Run a warm bath. Tear the bay leaves and add them to the water. As you do say:

Divine waters fill me with love and charm.

Slice open the fresh lemon. Squeeze the lemon juice into the bath water. Repeat:

Divine waters fill me with love and charm.

Slice the apple and put the slices on a plate next to your bath. Invite your lover into the bath. Feed each other the slices of apple. Before eating each slice, repeat:

You are loving and charming.

Fill a cauldron or large, black iron pot half-full of fresh water. Add a handful of Buttercup or Marigold petals. Light incense of Sage (also used for protection) or burn some Thyme. Stir the cauldron/pot gently three times while chanting the magic spell :
