Believe it or not, most of the herbs in the B’s have Masculine connections.
Goddess Herb Honeysuckle

Honeysuckle has a feminine aspect. It is closely connected to Jupiter and with the element of Earth.
Honeysuckle is widely used in spellcasting for prosperity spells and love charms as well as memory,
healing and power. But there is an honesty aspect connected with this herb. Ensure you are pure and
honest about your intentions when working with this herb, to not insult it.
Honeysuckle can be very potent and lend significant strength to money spells. But remember, when
asking for personal gains, something we should not do, you must be very specific in your intentions. The
energies that this herb will create can be powerful enough to carry you years.
Spellcrafting hint: When working prosperity spells, please be specific and ensure that when requesting
anything from the Universe that you are not asking for personal gain. So, for example, instead of asking
for money to come to you to go on vacation, ask instead, for long lasting and focused prosperity to carry
you and those you love and care for successfully through the future. To lend energy to your efforts and
your strengths to prosper and keep working to fulfill your own destiny.
God Herb Lavender

Lavender has a masculine aspect. It is closely connected with Mercury and the element of Air. Lavender
is an essential herb to have in Spellcasting or Magickal working. Witches have used this particular herb
for centuries. Lavender lends its energies of protection, love, clarity, purification, peace, protection, as
well as visions, clairvoyance, clarity of thought and inner calming.
Lavender is a very powerful herb. Ask this herb to lend its energies, but be careful. This one simple herb
can have a powerful kick! The energies that come from this one plant can bounce through the Universe
and can touch millions to gain exponential strength as it comes back to you threefold.
Spellcasting with this herb to gain insight, or clarity can and will manifest itself as a quest for knowledge,
a quest for understanding. So, while you may be thinking that it will help you to understand something
that you are struggling with, it may not come that way, instead it may come in the form of pushing you
to educate yourself with research and reading. This will then help you to find that clarity as you are now
more knowledgeable.
Remember Witches, the energies that come back to us from the Universe, may not manifest the way we
intended or even the way we think. But please do understand, those energies will come back to you. If
your intentions are pure and honest and are not meant to harm anyone, you will be rewarded beyond
your imagining.
Blessed Be Brothers & Sisters!
Happy Spellcasting!

All Signs
The overall tone of this week is about working together, pooling resources and helping each other. This includes group brainstorming and all aspects of teamwork. In a timely way, this cooperative vibe culminates with Thursday’s New Moon, which happens to line up with fair Venus – ruler of relationships. “But soft! What news from yonder Tinder breaks?” For many this is an opportunity for a new romance! Count on the fact that the seeds that are planted this week can grow into a loving, emotional, compassionate support system with someone. If you want to be adored – be adorable. If you want to be loved – be lovable. Or you can also be yourself and see how your luck holds.
Aries (March 21-April 19)
This is a fabulous week to socialize! You’re friendly and eager to meet new faces and see new places. Try to take a short trip because you’ll love talking to others, especially younger people. Basically, you have a warm feeling in your tummy. You appreciate your surroundings and feel fortunate. Because of your good feelings, people will be drawn to you. You’re also full of clever ideas, which is one reason you might take a class or learn something new. You might write. It’s a strong time for those in sales, marketing, teaching and acting. With Mars in your sign, you have high energy, confidence and optimism! (This sounds like a sales pitch.)
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
You have a strong focus on money, cash flow and earnings this week, which is no surprise because you are full of moneymaking ideas! Not only that, you will attract money to you. Because of the circumstances, many of you will shop for something that pleases you – perhaps antiques, collectibles or art. (You have a discerning eye and you’re a collector.) However, at a deeper level, some of you will take some time this week to think about your values. In other words, what really matters in life? What do you want for yourself? Thursday’s New Moon is the perfect time to think about what you want in practical terms and what is really important to you. This matters.
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
It’s your birthday, which is why you’re raring to go! This week the Sun, Mercury, Venus, Jupiter and the New Moon on Thursday are all in Gemini. These odds favour you! This is the perfect time to take a realistic look in the mirror and ask yourself what you think about the image you create on your world. Should you change something? Shoes? Wardrobe? Hair? Thursday’s New Moon is an excellent time to plan this. Tweak the impression you create! This same New Moon will attract romance and warm relationships to you. New love or new friendships will enrich your life. And with your ruler Mercury in your sign, you’ve got lots to say!
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
Expect a mix of influences this week. Mars high in your chart indicates that you’re revved up and ambitious! You’re prepared to go after what you want. Nevertheless, five other planets are “hiding”, which means you are the puppetmaster pulling strings from behind the scenes or you’ve decided to sit this one out. Possibly, your focus is turning inward this week as you wonder what is really making things work for you. What areas of your life should you emphasize now? You can sense that this is a time of preparation and that big things await you in about a year. “Patience, Grasshopper.” Bide your time because success is almost within your grasp.
Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
This is a popular week! Not only will you enjoy the company of younger people, you’ll also be attracted to creative, artistic individuals. (The talents of others can leave you breathless.) The reason this is such a popular time for you is the Sun, Mercury, Venus, Jupiter and this week’s New Moon are all sitting in your House of Friendships. This will attract new friends into your world. You will also enjoy getting together with old friends and staying in touch. Likewise, it will encourage you to join or be part of groups and organizations. It’s the perfect week to think about your hopes and dreams for the future and how you can bring them from the abstract into the concrete (or bark chips, if you prefer).
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
This is an amazing time for you because there’s a gaggle of planets at the top of your chart – the Sun, Mercury, Venus, Jupiter, and this week, the New Moon! Astrologers refer to the Moon and the Sun as planets because it’s easy. (But we do know better.) This is a very “public,” high-viz influence, which means you look charming, tactful, successful and affluent. However, the New Moon this week offers you an opportunity to think about your life direction and where you’re headed. (This is the only time all year that the New Moon will take place at the top of your chart.) Therefore, take some time to think about what you want for yourself in the future.
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
You want to expand your world, learn new things and travel to new places. You have that feeling that “surely there’s something exciting that I can do?” If you can’t travel, take day trips and visit museums, art galleries and restaurants. Naturally, these are things you enjoy doing anyway but now you want to shake things up a little to feel you have more adventure in your life. Make an effort to learn and study something new because this is a rewarding time for you to expand your mind. One tiny caveat: fiery Mars is opposite your sign for the next few weeks, which might create tension with partners. Actually, this is a great training opportunity to develop patience.
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
It’s interesting that there’s such a strong emphasis in your life right now on high finance, shared property, insurance matters, taxes, debt – and sex. (Nothing casual here – not really.) In addition, fiery Mars is urging you to work hard to accomplish as much as possible. Naturally, there are other things happening for you because nobody is just “one sign” – we’re all an exciting collection of signs. Some people have a wider variety in their chart than others. Nevertheless, from a Scorpio perspective, this is a pretty intense week! This particular New Moon is your opportunity to think about how to use the resources you have, as well as the resources of others, to your best advantage. Ideas?
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
How curious that there’s so much planetary energy directly opposite your sign! It’s like the Gunfight at the O.K. Corral. (Which, incidentally, actually occurred on October 26, 1881 and lasted one minute.) This week the Sun, Mercury, Venus, Jupiter and the New Moon are all opposite your sign, which means you’re giving a lot of focus to partnerships and close friendships. No question. Fortunately, because the New Moon is part of this passel of planets, you have an opportunity to see how you can improve these relationships. (Obviously, this means a way to change your own behaviour – not the behaviour of others.) But it will be worth it to get a better result!
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
You’re an industrious sign and willing to put up with discomfort to achieve your dreams. “There’s gold in them thar hills!” But it’s important to know when fortune favours you because this is certainly the case this week. Five planets are in your House of Employment, which will rev your engines. The Sun will make you focus on efficiency and effectiveness. You will strive to make every action count. And you’ll derive satisfaction from doing things well. Mercury is an excellent time for mental work. (You won’t ignore details.) Venus will help you relate to coworkers and discuss agreements. Jupiter will improve your job or help you get a better job. And finally, the New Moon is a great chance to think about how to improve your job and your health. Not too shabby.
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
Lucky you! The majority of planets right now are actually in the most playful part of your chart, which will promote opportunities to travel, enjoy vacations, explore social outings and enjoy the arts, the entertainment world and the creative efforts of others. Children will also be a source of joy and fun for you, along with sports events and playful outings. In addition, you will feel eager to express your own creative energy and talents. On top of this, not only will you be drawn to fun interactions with others and socializing – romance will flourish! Fortunately, you’re confident about making the first move or speaking up. Oh yes, life is interesting.
Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
While Virgo has a preponderance of planets at the top of their chart, you are just the opposite. Five planets are sitting at the bottom of your chart highlighting your personal world and everything to do with home and family. This is why you’re happy to tackle home repairs, redecorating projects and enjoy increased involvement with parents and family members. Entertain at home! Furthermore, while many of you will look for ways to improve your home, others will think about moving and changing their residence to something they prefer. (This is possible within the next 12 months.) Stock the fridge!
Spell for Sunday – Peaceful Dreams Spell
(YOU CAN COPY AND PASTE ANY SPELLS POSTED TO A DOCUMENT TO PRINT AND/OR SAVE ON YOUR COMPUTER)
Peaceful Dreams Spell
If your need for a nightmare spell is more about stopping them than causing them, then this water elemental spell can bring a calmer sleep.
You’ll need to have these supplies:
A few big pinches of coarse salt
1/2 oz dried rosemary
1 oz dried rose petals
1 oz dried valerian
3 pieces of polished moonstone
A clear glass bowl
Fill your bowl with pure water, then add the other ingredients. Give it a stir with your fingers before going to bed. Repeat the lines of the spell:
Bring me quiet
Bring me peace
Ease my dreams
Nightmares cease
Keep the bowl near your bed while you sleep. It will absorb any negative energies in the room that could be effecting your sleep and dreams. I do have a sleep spells page too that has a few other rituals that can help at bedtime if nightmares aren’t your only problem.

Gardening Moon Calendar – June 2024
Please read this first:
1) Moon Phase x Moon Zodiac Sign:
Please keep in mind, that Gardening by Moon Phase and Gardening by Moon Zodiac Sign are two different/independent biodynamic systems and they might give you different or contradictiory gardening recommendations.
a) Each Moon Phase (except Full Moon and New Moon) lasts about 1 week
b) Each Moon Zodiac Sign lasts about 2.5 days
Try to experiment with these two systems to find which recommendations suits you the most.
2) Tropical (Astrological) x Sidereal (Astronomical) Zodiac:
(1-2 days difference in Leaf, Fruit, Root and Flower days)
There are two different zodiacs for determining the Moon Sign:
a) Tropical zodiac (Astrological) is based on the seasons – Vernal Equinox is fixed as 0° Aries (The 1st Fruit day)
b) Sidereal zodiac (Astronomical) takes into account Precession of Equinoxes and shifts 0° Aries back by cca 1-2 days. Maria Thun who was an authority on biodynamics was using this Sidereal zodiac
Try to experiment also with these two zodiac systems to find which system suits you better.

The Full Moon for this month will occur on Saturday, June 22nd. The New Moon is earlier in the month on Thursday, June 6th.
The June Full Strawberry Moon
The sweetest full moon of the year is June’s full moon, commonly known as the Full Strawberry Moon. While the full moon itself is inedible, despite how round and delicious it may seem, the Full Strawberry Moon marks strawberry harvesting season in North America. Most Algonquin tribes understood that it was a sign that wild strawberries were starting to ripen and ready for the harvest. Delicious though ripe strawberries may be, June’s full moon has another name that’s even sweeter.
What could possibly be sweeter than strawberries? Try honey. In Europe, June’s full moon was actually known as the Honey Moon. Other European names for it included the Hot Moon, signifiying the beginning of hot summer days, or Hay Moon, because of the first hay harvest. Those names aside, European names for the Full Strawberry Moon overall tend to have sweet, romantic connotations – a good example is the name Full Rose Moon. June’s full moon is also called Mead Moon, which could refer to the mowing of meadows during summer, but there’s another more romantic interpretation as well.
In Europe, it’s traditional to gift mead or honey to a newlywed couple during their first moon of marriage. The name Honey Moon itself has now become a common word in the English language, used to refer to the honeymoon holiday that couples go on right after they’re married. It used to be that newlyweds in ancient Europe would go on a sweet romantic holiday around the time of June’s full moon, because the moon phases were seen as a symbol for the phases of a marriage, with the full moon signifying the fullest and happiest part, the wedding itself.
The Full Strawberry Moon is tied to romance and marital bliss all around the world. In India, for example, June’s full moon is celebrated as Vat Purnima, where married women perform a ceremonial ritual to show their love for their husbands. Vat Purnima is based off a legend from the Mahabharata, about a beautiful woman, Savitri, who is determined to save her husband, Satyavan, who is doomed to die an early death. Savitri fasts for three days before Satyavan dies, upon which she successfully negotiates with the King of Hell for the resurrection of her husband. Similarly, married women nowadays dress up in beautiful saris, fast, and tie a thread around a banyan tree seven times to wish that their husbands will lead long, happy lives.
It is no wonder, then, that the Pagans also call June’s full moon the Lovers’ Moon. This is an excellent time to work on the connections in your life, romantic or otherwise, by showing affection to your loved ones and allowing yourself to be vulnerable to encourage intimacy in your relationships. During this Honey Moon, some Hoodoo practitioners will even use honey in magic rituals to sweeten other people’s feelings towards the practitioner. An example of a sweetening ritual is to pour honey into a saucer containing the target’s name, before lighting a candle on top of it. Another example of a honey ritual is to tie two poppets together with honey between them, in order to heal a broken relationship between two people. Honey rituals aside, true magic may happen when you invest your time and effort during this month to work on your relationships and appreciate the love you have in your life.

Surgical operations are generally recommended during the Waning Moon, because human body is healing better after surgery.
However, try to avoid surgeries of the organs under the influence of the zodiac sign the Moon is in on the day of the surgery. These organs are more sensitive when the Moon is passing the sign they are affiliated with and their surgery is not recommended.

JUN. 24: TEMPLAR HOLY DAY. In the Roman calendar this day was thought to be Summer Solstice. The Church renamed this pagan holiday to St. John the Baptist Day. Templars revered it highly. On Jun 24, 1314 a mysterious band of knights joined Robert the Bruce of Scotland on the battlefield making his victory at Bannockburn possible. These knights could only have been the a troop of disbanded and now in-hiding Templars who had fled to western Scotland. St. John’s day was used by Freemasons in 1717 to found the first public (non-Scottish) Order of Freemasonry in London. Masonic teachings are said to descend from the esoteric Christianity of Templarism. St. John the Baptizer was beheaded because he wouldn’t give in and sacrifice his principles. This is a Templar ideal, as is the constancy and regularity — order out of chaos — of the solstices and equinoxes. So for both reasons, Christian and “pagan,” we observe this day.

Saturday Source: learnreligions.com
It’s the end of the week for many of us, so Saturday—named for the god Saturn—is a good time to wrap things up. Associated with the colors black and dark purple, and the metal lead, this day is also connected to the goddess Hecate. Gemstones like Apache tear, obsidian, and hematite are all connected to Saturday’s magic, as are plants such as thyme, mullein, and the cypress tree.
When it comes to magical workings, focus on agriculture and creativity, fortune and hope, protection and banishment of negativity. Put up a barrier to keep the unwelcome out, eliminate the things that make you miserable, and wash your hands of anything other than your hopes, dreams, and goals.

The Moon’s current phase for today and tonight is a Waning Crescent phase. This phase is best viewed just before the sunrise in the western sky. In this phase the Moon’s illumination is growing smaller each day until the New Moon. During this part of the Moon cycle, the Moon is getting closer to the Sun as viewed from Earth and the night side of the Moon is facing the Earth with only a small edge of the Moon being illuminated. It can also be a great time to see the features of the Moon’s surface. Along the edge where the illuminated portion meets the dark side, the craters and mountains cast long shadows making them easier to observe with a telescope or binoculars.
