October is one of those months you will look back on years from now, remembering key societal markers involving revolutionary change. Notable developments include an unprecedented unmasking of the patriarchy and the light shining in a very public way on deep wounds felt by both the oppressed and oppressors. Imbalances of all sorts will take center stage, a spiritual cleansing taking place. You are part of society, of course, so be prepared to look inward for your own balancing. Continue reading to better understand what this means and your role.

Background

The shadow of humanity is coming up for healing in a big way. This is a needed element in shifting our planet into one of love. We can’t move forward without seeing the larger picture of what keeps our society divided.

We’ve been in this process for quite a while. It’s not surprising that people often feel weary about this, impatient about how long this is taking. What I can tell you, though, is that progress is being made and we must be persistent and determined in our quest to shift this planet into love. It will happen. There already is so much love here, even if it appears sidelined by the division and polarization.

Daily we must come back to a focus on the love, and express that love as best we can. We must be courageous in standing up for what is right and good. This is our role as divine changemakers.

“You came to Earth to have a front-row seat as the Earth ascends into a higher consciousness. Your movement into higher levels of being won’t always feel comfortable. Sometimes you will question whether you can go on, but do not worry. The eternal you has no doubt that you can take the leap that you came to take.” – from my book Earth’s Pivotal Years.

I repeat that here knowing that sometimes we need to be reminded of the long view. We are not lightweights. We are not quitters. We are vast quantum beings with a long history evolving on this planet before this life. That perspective is very important right now.

October Transforming Energies

A number of transforming energies will be impacting us in October. I’ll outline a few of them here, and what you need to know to optimize benefits.

First is the Libra balancing energy of October. The sign Libra is about striving for balance between polarities – it seeks harmony, justice, and relationship. As this balancing energy plays out in society, do your own inner work. Explore what may be out of balance in your personal life, your relationships, and your work. Be open to discovering new ways to look at old problems, new ways to look at others, new ways to look at yourself.

Energies as October begins will catalyze a deeper look at relationships and how people publicly and privately engage with one another. Strive to be kind and open-minded. Remember that there are two sides to every situation. You don’t need to agree with the “other side,” but applying openness in dialogue can engender compassion and a move towards finding common ground.

Second is the Venus retrograde starting October 5 to November 16. The sign Venus is about love, beauty, values, and relationship. When Venus goes retrograde, old unresolved issues in relationships can come up for healing. Sometimes this is with a current partner, an issue off the radar becoming visible and needing resolution. Other times, it may be a very old wound involving a partner no longer in one’s life – coming to the surface now because it’s a block to love with others. In still other instances, the retrograde may mean an old lover reappears in one’s life, bringing up something to look at.

In my 1-1 DNA healing sessions focused on love relationships, I find it’s common to be blocked in manifesting a new partner when there are unresolved issues with a previous person. Identifying and healing those old issues at a DNA level is key to moving forward.

Other effects of Venus retrograde involve values. Don’t be surprised if you feel called to reflect on what’s important to you, on many levels. The energies will support taking a deeper look at what you care about, what you enjoy, and what in society you value. Begin reflecting on these things now. Remember: we individually and collectively create our world by our presence, focus, heart, and mind. We can have the most impact by being present to what we value and what we want to preserve about our way of life. If something is important to us, we can stand up for that, becoming an active conscious voice.

Third is the Libra New Moon of October 8-9.  This provides the opportunity to give your relationships a tune-up – observing what’s out of balance and making needed course corrections. It’s also the best time to begin something new. If you apply that as a RX for a stale or troubled relationship – e.g. starting an exercise routine you enjoy together – this could be a plus. Sometimes what a relationship needs most is variety and a change of routine.

Fourth is the Taurus Full Moon of October 24. Energies of this moon will catalyze a deeper look at things in your life that are blocking your progress. This could be anything from destructive habits and things you no longer need to negative character traits like judgement, self-pity, and pride.

Fifth is a balancing of your inner male and inner female. Regardless of whether you are male or female, the two need to be in balance. Events unfolding in society will give you clues about what to focus on.

In my “Predictions 2018” eBook I wrote about the cultural shift involving women and how the balance between men and women is up for a big review this year. In 2017 we had the #MeToo movement, and this year mistreatment of women is getting an even larger spotlight during the Supreme Court nomination hearings in the US Senate. Both of these will set the stage for many more changes in our society over the coming decade.

In my eBook I said: “The cultural shift is not about punishing men or pushing them off into a corner. The foundational issue is the abuse of power – the kind of ego power that dishonors and hurts others. Both sexes house the divine, and each has a beneficial role to play.”

Remember as you witness events to keep a higher view and an open mind. We are all in this Earthly experience together. We must stay strong to help ourselves and others. Our love and our light-filled actions are what will make the difference. Trust this.

Identity Shifts, Rebirth and Kundalini

September through December is a time of new energy.

Contract Changes And Residue

We have to let go of certain things in order to make space for the new. During the May-August period this year, many people went through a lot of high-speed letting go, in the form of sudden or unexpected contract changes. For some of you, that involved literal contracts – contracts falling through or suddenly arriving in your life, for houses, businesses or other opportunities. For others among us, this phenomenon showed up as changes in soul contracts.

At a soul level, we all have contracts running through our lives. We form them with each other to either do or be something to one another for a certain period of time or with a certain focus. For example, two souls might come together to help advance each other around the lesson of learning to love deeply or learning to resolve conflict. Sometimes is to launch a charity or help a community. These soul contracts come in the form of business, friendship, romance or family. We also form soul contracts with places we live, visit, or houses we have been in for a long time. There is always an underlying reason for the contract, and a few key lessons in each one. Once the contract is complete and the healing or learning is done, either a new level of contract begins or we move on from that person or place and start afresh.

The extraordinary speed with which people went through dramatic or sudden soul contract changes for themselves through April-August felt dizzying during that period, but has now led to a collective burst of new energy throughout September. This may have shown up as a feeling of resolution or a new sense of calm, or a visceral sense of a rush of new energy and possibilities.

Don’t be surprised if in October there is a sense of residue coming up for you as a result of all this rapid change. This may not necessarily show up as griefabout what has changed or moved out of your world, (though that is a possibility), but more likely, there will be more time for reflection on the quantity of changes that have happened for you and who they have helped you become. A moment to pause and reflect after a mighty wave of energy, and just before a mighty wave of new opportunity arrives.

Identity Shifts

There is a visceral identity shift occurring for us all on the planet right now. And for many sensitives, empaths and spiritual seekers right now, there is a heightened awareness of feeling very different inside.

It’s good to remember that internal shifts are not always apparent to other people in our life. We may have gone through an internal shift these past months which will manifest in a change in our external behaviour or circumstances at a later date, yes, but until we ground that change into our external behaviour or outer circumstances, other people won’t necessarily notice. Most people do not choose to see into others deeply, plus they are going through their own changes, so remember that while you go through your metamorphosis, you are safe in your privacy until you get comfortable enough to reveal your new layers to the world. (Good to remember this for those of you who feel you have no skin or are feeling transparent and vulnerable!).

Any new dreams or visions you have birthed inside you recently are really going to be working hard between September and December. This is a time of magnetic birth and new energy. These dreams will emerge faster if you are backing them up with action and consciously focusing on what you want to manifest, but even if you aren’t, the Universe is currently moving all of us through an upgrade cycle and identity shift that is inescapable.

Rebirth And Human Ego

Is Rebirth playing out at the same level for everyone? Yes and no. Some people will be experiencing it very strongly and watching it play out in their life, and others will experience the more blocked or asleep aspects of their lives being “tapped on” and growing increasingly uncomfortable. For example, you might be getting more irritated with a certain person in your life or a certain situation in your life. And then the question is: what is your irritation trying to tell you and what are you going to do about it?

There is an opportunity on the planet right now to shift out of old patterns and old behaviours faster than ever before. There is a transformation energy here right now that we are being asked to rise into – and for good reason.

But remember that when we are moving towards an expanded version of our selves or our lives, we often experience an ego contraction in response. For example, when you set the intention “I really want to have a great relationship and I’m going to manifest that” don’t be surprised when the next day, (because you are intending for an upgrade), part of your old human ego flares up and screams into your ear “Oh my god, I was treated really badly before and I’m really upset about it and I’m not sure I want a new relationship.” That’s the human ego response to the new soul desire. This is the voice of the old pain that has been in the way of you moving forward. It rises to the surface to be cleared, once you decide to take the steps toward something new.

I say this to help you recognise and be at peace with the fact that going into a contracted state in response to a vision or desire is part of the process. That friction is part of the process that helps clear and lead you into a new reality. And now more than ever, new realities are magnetising us all.

Kundalini Energy

Life-force is on the rise and this will be experienced as a rise in Kundalini energy.

When Kundalini energy rises, parts of our old identity and habits can be destroyed and this can be uncomfortable. What you will experience is a surge of life-force that wants to rise in you and wants to create, birth something new and/or take you in a new direction.

But as human beings we have been so trained and conditioned into staying where we are. So that moment when change comes near to us, fear can rise up. Our old identity doesn’t want to die, as it (thinks) it has successfully learned how to keep us safe. And that any change is a threat to the status quo. Which is where Kundalini comes in.

Kundalini energy is the energy of the soul. So with Kundalini energy on the rise, which is a sensory energy, the question to ask yourself is: am I FEELING my way through things or am I THINKING my way through things whenever I’m hesitant about a choice in front of me? Can I follow what feels good and what feels right more than what I think is good?

The mind is always tracking and referencing the past. So give your body a chance to FEEL into the options you are presented with. And your body will transmit to you either an openness or a hesitation/dullness or contraction about the choice you invite it to walk into. I use this ‘body test’ whenever my mind is in the way of my intuition. For example, at a fork in the road (and no map handy!) I ask my body does it want to go left, or does it want to go right? Then I follow which feeling felt better in my body and take that direction. You can run this test with any choices you are presented with.

Kundalini is a birthing energy and thus also a great destroyer of the past. The beauty of the past is all of the experiences you have walked through to become who you are today.

But your future is calling you forward to something greater or bigger than you have yet experienced. And when you can step into that, you become a bold transformer, not only for yourself but also for others.

I know that for a lot of you who follow my work, that is the role you have came here for and that is part of your purpose: to be a transformer for others.

The month of October starts strongly with an 11-11 vibration and that is the energy signature for the month that focuses on ‘becoming 360×3’, which is our life journey of moving from healing to wholeness to congruence. This month we will learn about the 3 levels of Energetic Congruence that are now available to us so we no longer focus on the healing journey, now we can give our attention to expanding into higher potentials and energy frequencies. October is a month for inspired action and congruent harmony, which is the outcome of body/mind, emotions, and spirit alignment. This has been an ongoing ascension theme since I first introduced it in 2011. Now it’s time to express our energetic sovereignty, integrate our spiritual aspects, and put on our mantle of divinity. Ready, set, shine for October’s energies will support you in whatever you choose to do.

There is a lot going on this month energetically as well as on the physical planes. It can be depressing to look at the world we see and think that the spiritual aspects are not working but what we see today in the material world is a direct result of what happens when we shine the light of our expanding spiritual awareness on the density of 3D. Try to not let yourself get distracted by the chaos in the world, it’s a by-product of the dis-integrating 3D paradigm.

In order for us to expand our human awareness we need to change from linear, circular thinking to spherical thinking. Our awareness expands like a balloon, in all directions. This is why setting an intention for joyful, fulfilling love can result in losing friends and relationships because the energy of that intention expands in all directions to encompass all of our relationships.

So much of our life has been focused on healing and completing healing and karmic cycles. That’s not a bad thing, it is the fulfillment of our soul mission and the purpose of our life. We are here to get closure with our lifetimes of soul trauma and that is a very big task. To do that we try to fill in the gaps in our energy field, we ‘become 360’ on the human/emotional level, which I talked about in the 2015 Predictions which you can read at this link.

The healing journey involves moving from healing into wholeness, where we recapture our energy that is empowering our soul traumas and use it to expand into our higher potentials. This is what we have been doing until now. But there’s more to that journey and this is our next ascension step.

Now we need to expand from our ‘becoming 360’ on the material plane to include the other levels of 360 being-ness, spiritual and divine. This is the integration of the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end, where we begin the journey as a novice and end it as the master. Those levels were not fully available to everyone until now and today we have access to all of them. In the This is what I call ‘becoming 360×3’ where we align with and integrate all 3 levels of our being, human, spiritual, and divine into congruence which is more than wholeness, it is a state of complete and full integration of our aspects, the Divine Trinity. This gives us access to the energy of harmony, where all parts contribute equally to our expansion, potential, and awareness, and there is an unlimited, unbroken, joyful flow of energy into our lives.

October’s new moon in Libra/Aries on the 8th completes the energy of the full moon of September 24, which was a powerful call to speed up this process with a combination of action and discipline. We need to be integrated with our spiritual and divine aspects for this next ascension cycle to occur. Look at the corruption that we have seen in the past week, all over the world. That’s the light uncovering the darkness and density of the 3D paradigms, it is not a sign that we have failed.

Pluto, the planet of deep transformation, after a 6 month retrograde, is now direct. That’s going to push the transformation forward in the relentless way that Pluto is known for. This month we also have Venus going retrograde in Scorpio starting October 4. While that is not unusual and happens every 2 years, it will mean that in 2018 all of the planets have had a retrograde cycle since June and that is unusual.

To give extra oomph to the transformation, Uranus is going to be at 0 Aries, which is the zero point of the zodiac, for most of October. This is the most powerful point in the chart and Uranus is the planet of revolution, ruling electricity, sudden and unexpected events, and alchemy. There may be some big surprises this month that prepare us for more big energy events in November. And remember all of these alignments are preparing us for the big Saturn/Pluto Capricorn conjunction in 2020, something that happens every 500 years.

We have a full moon on the 24th that aspects both Uranus and Saturn, the great Disrupter and the great Disciplinarian. That should create some interesting fireworks further intensifying the transformation catalyzed by the immense outpouring of light and high frequency energy that is being poured onto the planet at this time. There’s nowhere to hide and nothing to fear but we do have to continue shining our lights, stay within our energy fields (you may feel the need to stay home at times), and keep our intentions high and strong.

It has felt, to me, like things slowed down a lot for the past few months but they are moving forward now.  We’re in an 11 year and that is the first mastery number, the number of the initiate. This is the beginning of the mastery journey, where we are learning through trial error, moving a few steps forward and a few steps backward. While we never go back to where we began, we do go over old ground to get completion and closure.

At some point, though, we have to decide to take inspired action, which requires that we end our healing work, get out of healing and karmic cycles, and test out what we have learned. So many clients tell me “I have done my healing work…” and then they say they’re stuck and don’t know what to do next. I tell them that’s great, so take it for a test drive, see what you have learned, what still needs some attention, what works and what doesn’t. Inspired action is acting through spirit (which means there is no fear). Remember we are not afraid of fear, we are afraid of consequences.

The only way to know how far we have come and how far we have yet to go is to step out and put our healing efforts to work. Create an intention that activates something bold, big, and beautiful for yourself. Then assess the results and course correct as necessary.

October is a great month for that, it’s a month to take action, to expand boldly into new avenues of potential, and to accept your own divinity for congruent harmony in body, mind, emotions, and spirit. Shine on and have a great month.
