Blessings card: Two of Wands

Our Blessings are represented in the Two of Wands. This man is standing in his castle, holding the world in his hands. That’s symbolic of the amount of potential that is available to you. And he’s really thinking about, “Wow, what’s possible for me right now?” So the Blessings here are that it’s a perfect time for you to start thinking really big about what you want to achieve this year. It’s about planning. How you will start to make those dreams and goals a reality? Now, he’s not necessarily taking action straight away, because he’s still safe in his castle, laying down those foundations. So the big lesson there is dream big and start planning.

Challenges card: Seven of Swords, reversed

Ok let’s check out what our Challenges are for the month of January. I’ve drawn the Seven of Swords, reversed. Now you’ll notice in this card, the man, he’s got five swords there, and he’s had to leave two behind. Sometimes, in order to do what we want to do, we can’t do everything. So, as we’re creating our really big goals, dreams, and plans, we need to know that we can’t do everything that comes to mind, because if we try to do a hundred things at once, we probably wouldn’t do them very well. Your Challenge this month is knowing, what is it that you’re going to have to leave behind, and you know, being a little bit strategic with it. It’s not going to feel great, but that’s what you’ll need to do so that you can fully manifest your dreams in the way you want.

Recommendation card: Eight of Pentacles

Let’s check out what the recommended course of action is to make this a really awesome month. And, I have drawn the Eight of Pentacles. Now, this card is both about mastery and paying attention to the details. You might have a skill that you can already do, but you want to take your skills to the next level. Well this is the perfect time to do a little bit of extra training, skill development, courses, programs, in order to take your skillset up to the next level. Now, the other part of the Eight of Pentacles is paying attention to the details, and, as you’re setting up all of your beautiful plans for the year, you’re going to want to make sure that you’re also paying attention to the details. So it might be as simple as getting your calendar out and mapping out exactly when you’re going to do certain things, and making sure you have enough space for those things to happen. It might feel a little bit finicky, trying to get into the exact details of when things will happen, but trust me, this is what’s going to set you up really well for an awesome year ahead.

Make sure that you’re putting in place your plans and thinking really big about what’s possible, also knowing that you might be challenged in terms of having to, maybe not do everything that you’d imagined you’d do, and use this time as skill development, a good time for training, and also paying attention to the details.
