The Magickal Day of Friday

The Magickal Day of Friday

Friday falls at the end of the work week for many of us, and that means we get a chance to relax for a little bit! Mark your Fridays with colors like pink and aqua, and metals such as copper. This is a day ruled by the planet Venus, so it should be no surprise that Venus and Aphrodite – goddesses of love and beauty – are associated with Fridays. This is a day named for the Norse goddess Freyja, so be sure to take a moment to honor her as well.

Gemstones associated with Friday include coral, emerald and rose quartz, and plants like strawberries, apple blossoms and feverfew are also related. This is a good day to do spellwork associated with family life and fertility, sexuality, harmony, friendship, growth. Take advantage of Friday’s correspondences and plant a seed, make something grow, and enjoy your blessings

*Note: There are a lot of disputes as to the origins of the word Friday, because there is still a great deal of discussion as to whether it was named for Freyja or Frigga, and whether they were the same deity or two separate ones. Some scholars believe that while they may have eventually become two distinctly different goddesses, they could have had their origins in a single, common Proto-Germanic deity.

Birthday Horoscope Of People Born On May 21 Zodiac Sign Is Gemini

May 21 birthday horoscope predicts that the Gemini born on this day is ambitious with a great desire to succeed. All your efforts go into making a comfortable lifestyle for you and your loved ones. You will work hard to achieve your goals.
If today is your birthday, you like to eat at the finest restaurants and wear the best clothes. Your children will be brought up to be as successful as you will be.

This May 21st birthday personality sees the bigger picture and is capable of having a million dollar bank account. Part of the reason for this is speaking, believing and acting on the goal. You certainly have the stubborn determination to do it.
On the other hand, this Gemini birthday person can be entertaining and full of fun. Your children will love this part of you. Laughing and physical activity is a part of keeping your youthful attitude and appearance.

Among other things, those born today on May 21, are creative and have almost a photographic memory. You love people, but sometimes you might meet someone who is not as smart as you are.
The May 21 horoscope predicts that you want close friends and family rather than have a whole lot of insignificant people in your lives. Your close friends become extended family members that you depend on more so than your blood relatives. You will go out of your way to help others.

Your zodiac meanings say May 21 Twins are likely entangled with work demands to retain anything more than acquaintances outside of their immediate circle. However, you are most generous with your love, money and time. In romance, it shows that love is something that does not come easily for this Gemini.
As the May 21st zodiac sign is Gemini, you are typically a person who has an enthusiastic and rational attitude. You have a young character that naturally likes to flirt. You love the chase but can be unpredictable. One flaw that this Twin should consider is your inability to trust others or even self.

The May 21 birthday analysis suggests that you can be indecisive even after contemplating your emotions. You should be as honest and straightforward as possible. Sharing your interest and goals with your soul mate can be extremely intimate instead of being moody when things don‘t go your way.
The May 21 birthday personality are intelligent people. Nonetheless, you are more hands-on and initiative than most. Working with your hands gives you a sense of accomplishment at the end of the day. A job that is not mentally satisfying may not be for the Gemini born on this day.

The May 21 zodiac person knows how to budget if necessary to balance bill paying, splurging and saving. Those born on this day will save and perhaps invest monies in having a secure retirement. This is all-important to this Gemini.
Money management is not based on how much you make but what you do with it. This birthday characteristic ensures that you will work hard to achieve the dreams and goals that are set. With all your expertise, marketing is not one of them. This could only increase notoriety for the May 21st Gemini birthday!

The May 21 astrology analysis predicts that you often give the appearance of being in shape. But in actuality, good health can be of a challenge for you. The people born on this day can be typically lazy when it comes to adhering to a proper exercise routine or healthy food choices.
The May 21 Gemini natives should be aware that eating foods that are natural could reduce calorie intake. Processed foods are not the best foods to reduce body fat. Sometimes all it takes is a little change in your eating habits, exercise routine and sleep practices to make a big difference.

If your birthday is today on May 21, you are likely to have desires to eat at expensive restaurants and wear the finest shoes made by man. This Gemini can be comical and fun people. Also, you do not always have the best luck when it comes to love. Those born on this day are natural flirts who cannot even trust themselves.

Some of the Witchcraft/Magickal Correspondence for Monday

(YOU CAN COPY AND PASTE ANY CORRESPONDENCES POSTED TO A DOCUMENT TO PRINT AND/OR SAVE ON YOUR COMPUTER FOR PERSONAL USE ONLY)

Monday is named after the moon. The Latin term for Monday is Dies Lunae (“moon’s day”); in the Old English language, this day was Monandaeg; in Greek, it was Hermera Selenes. All of these different names and languages translate to the same thing: the “day of the moon.”

Working with the different phases of the moon is an important skill that takes a bit of time for Witches to learn. So why not cut to the chase and experiment with the day of the week that is dedicated to the moon in all of its magickal energies and aspects?

Magickally, Monday encourages the lunar energies of inspiration, illusion, prophetic dreams, emotions, psychic abilities, travel, women’s mysteries, and fertility.

April 9 Moon Goddess’ Current Phase

Today the Moon will be in a Waning Crescent phase. In this phase the Moon’s illumination is growing smaller each day until the New Moon. During this part of the Moon cycle, the Moon is getting closer to the Sun as viewed from Earth and the night side of the Moon is facing the Earth with only a small edge of the Moon being illuminated. This phase is best viewed an hour or 2 before the sunrise and can be quite beautiful if you’re willing to get up early. It can also be a great time to see the features of the Moon’s surface. Along the edge where the illuminated portion meets the dark side, the craters and mountains cast long shadows making them easier to observe with a telescope or binoculars.

Visit the April 2021 Moon Phases Calendar to see all the daily moon phase for this month.

Today’s Waning Crescent Phase

The Waning Crescent on April 9 has an illumination of 6%. This is the percentage of the Moon illuminated by the Sun. The illumination is constantly changing and can vary up to 10% a day. On April 9 the Moon is 27.13 days old. This refers to how many days it has been since the last New Moon. It takes 29.53 days for the Moon to orbit the Earth and go through the lunar cycle of all 8 Moon phases.

Time Changes Are Happening Starting This Coming Weekend

Please bear with me as I figure out what countries change from either daylight savings time to standard and vise versa. This reflects the Current Planetary Positions. It is not as easy as you may think it is. For example the United States of America changing to Daylight Saving Time on Sunday, March 14 at 2:00 CDT but Australia does not switch from Daylight Savings Time to Standard time until Sunday, April 4 at 2:00 AEST. So this changes how many hours ahead Australia is of the U.S.A. I just get to pull my hair out twice a year but it grows back fast…LOL! I will try my best to get the times right and the abbreviation for the different time zone I do posts for daily.

Thank you for your patience and understanding during this confusing time.

The Witches Spell-A-Day – A Spring Abundance Spell

A Spring Abundance Spell

Now that trees and shrubs are beginning to show signs of growth, it’s the perfect time to perform this ritual. You’ll need a pliable stem about two to three feet long from a tree or shrub such as a willow or forsythia. Being by weaving the steam into a small wreath. As you weave, say:

The winds of winter are a thing of the past
Spring, I welcome you at last.
Growth and abundance are draw to me.
Now I’m blessed with prosperity.

As you weave the stem, visualize growth and abundance being bound to you. When you’re done, hang the wreath on a branch to the tree or shrub from whic it came. Thank the tree or shrub. You’ve created some positive karma, which will increase the flow of abundance coming to you.
