Think for a moment on all of the witchery, magick and enchantments that you have discovered. Don’t be afraid to adjust spells to suit your own specific needs. Any gentle, illusory, and dreamy charms and spells can be enhanced when you work on the day of the week that is dedicated to the moon. Mondays are a fantastic day to boost your psychic abilities and to tune in to your intuition and empathy. It also gives you the opportunity to work with a different lunar phase each and every Monday, which means in one month you could work four different types of moon magicks on Mondays. How’s that for adding to your repertoire? You are going to have mad skills in no time at all.

So light up those lunar scented candles and add a little mystique to your outfit by wearing an enchanting lunar color. Wear your sparkling silver jewelry and maybe add a pair of dangling silver earrings or a pendant shaped like a crescent moon. Create lunar potions and philters; make a dream catcher and give it as a gift to someone you love. Burn some sandalwood or jasmine-scented incense today to inspire the glamour and magick of the moon. Slice up a favorite variety of fruit that is in season for a snack or share it with your love and enjoy his or her lunar and romantic qualities. Brew up a cup of chamomile tea, enchant it with a little moon magick, and relax and get a good night’s sleep.

Most importantly, get outside tonight and watch the moon for a while. What phase is she in? What color was the moon as she rose? Why not start a journal and write down at what location the moon rises and sets for a few seasons? This is a great way to teach you to tune in and to become more aware of the moon and the influence that she pulls into our lives. Try calling on Selene for her magickal assistance, and call Thoth for wisdom and strength. Get to know the Norse Mani and the Latvian Meness. These gods of the moon have plenty to teach, and if you allow their influence to cycle through your life, you’ll receive many blessings. One tsp. each of patchouli, sandalwood, and clove

An incense brazier

One self-igniting charcoal

A small white stone inscribed with a protective sigil of your choice

Place a piece of charcoal in your brazier and light it. Mix the herbs together, and sprinkle them over the glowing coal. As the mixture begins to burn, pass the stone through the smoke as you chant:

Within this stone, I pass my

plight. Banished forever,

From this night.

Immediately take the stone to the nearest body of moving water. Toss the stone in and walk away.

BIBLE INCENSES

Bible Incenses always contains Gum Frankincense and Gum
Myrrh, mixed with Bamba Wood base or placed direct on
Charcoal. Bible Incenses may be blended with Perfume
Compound Oil to give various desired effects.

Ex. Frankincense grains 1 Ounce
Myrrh grains 1 Ounce
Any Compound Perfume Oil 2 Drams

This is mixed and then a small amount placed on ignited
Charcoal Block or with the entire amount, mix with. 8 Ounces
any Bamba Wood Base. In order to add Spice to Incense,
Cinnamon is used together with other Spices, such as Cloves.
Lemon, Orange, etc.

 

 

EUROPEAN INCENSE

European Incenses aromatic or household Incense, which is
generally made with Charcoal, Sandalwood, Patchouli,
Cinnamon, Benzoin, and varied with perfume oil compounds
either in floral odors or a bouquet.

 

 

ECCLESIASTICAL INCENSE

That used by the Catholic Church is Frankincense, however,
it must be burned with Charcoal. The Catholic Church have
rigid specifications as to the Incenses used in its Church.
No aromatic or synthetics may be used. There are occasions
when some churches will use an Incense containing other
ingredients than plain Frankincense. As an example, an
addition of a little Myrrh and Benzoin, Sandalwood or
Cinnamon.

Items You Will Need:

  • bit of your own hair
  • a small bowl.
  • 3 candles, 1 red, 1 white and 1 green.
  • a fire safe bowl or incense brazier,
  • piece of charcoal
  • myrrh
  • patchouli
  • sandalwood
  • prick your right index finger.
  • Squeeze three drops of blood

The Spell:

Some binding spells can cause physical manifestations.
You feel as if invisible strands of hair or thin strings are wrapped around you.
You can’t see them but you can feel them and nothing you do can make that sensation stop.
Here is a way to dispel a binding.
Cut a bit of your own hair and set it in a small bowl.
Light 3 candles, 1 red, 1 white and 1 green. In a fire safe bowl or incense brazier, light a piece of charcoal and add some myrrh, patchouli and sandalwood incense (powdered kind not cone or stick). Take a sterile needle or pin and prick your right index finger.
Squeeze three drops of blood into the smoldering incense.
As you drop the hair onto the lit incense repeat these words:
With blood, candle and scent times three
No longer shall this binding be
Free to live and free to soar
Let me leave the house once more.
As I burn this hair, a part of me
Let my heart and soul be free!
And for those who doth cast despair
Binding me with sightless hair
I send to them this well-earned curse
Let their evil spell reverse!
Teach them mercy and love’s sweet gift
Once learned, this simple spell shall lift.
As is my will, so mote it be!
Let the incense burn out and scatter the ashes outside.
Lifting the binding spell should take care of the problem. Keep an eye on those around you. Someone who wished you ill will start to experience the torment they put you through.
Once they understand that what they did was wrong, then the sensation will fade and they will be back to normal.

WOTC’s Spell of the Day for Feb. 17th – Cat Dreams

Cat Dreams

This spell teaches you how to energetically shape shift into a cat in your dreams. Shape shifting allows you merge with a particular animal spirit and to bring the power and wisdom of this spirit into your own being. It means you can be as sleek, sure-footed, and cunning as a cat when you need to be. These can be very good traits which is why cats are so adaptive and prone to survival. Their ancestors have been around for thousands and thousands of years.

You will need pictures of cats and sandalwood incense. Cats come in many different colors, sizes and personality types. Become familiar with these many faces of cats, and in particular, what face most closely resembles who you are as a person. Take time to observe as many cats as you can. Watch how they interact with other cats and how they interact with humans. Merge with the cat spirit and become one with the cat Goddess, Bast.

Tonight before you go to sleep, put the pictures of cats on your altar and light the sandalwood incense. Call out to the cat Goddess Bast:

Dear Bast, Goddess of the divine feline

Please come to me tonight during dreamtime.

Blessed dreams! Blessed Be!

As you close your eyes to go to sleep, let the images of cats move through your mind’s eye. Merge with the cat spirit, and repeat to yourself as you drift to sleep:
