Daily Cosmic Calendar for July 30

Psychic storm warnings are posted early today due to the Sun making an off-kilter, 150-degree link to underworld-ruling Pluto (12:10AM PDT). Not only is almost any Sun-Pluto encounter a cause for concern, but this one happens while the Moon is still void in Sagittarius. By 12:30AM PDT, the lunar orb enters hardworking and persevering Capricorn for the next two days. Strive to put your best foot forward on the business and professional fronts. The Sun making a supportive, 60-degree rapport with Vesta (4:32AM PDT) can signify a huge help by increasing the value of your investments. While the monthly Moon-Pluto conjunction (1:05PM PDT) can be somewhat intimidating, you may be able to strike it rich due to Venus making an inspirational, 72-degree tie with Pallas (3:03PM PDT) less than one hour before Pallas itself makes a station at 12 degrees of Aries (3:32PM PDT) and begins a retrograde cycle in the zodiac lasting until November 20. All Pallas themes – mental brilliance, wisdom and knowledge, problem-solving, strategy sessions, scholarly research, seeing invisible patterns, weaving, chess masters, engineering, city planning, video-game and computer programming, inventions, DNA and the genetic code – are accentuated today and tomorrow. Adding to the excitement of today’s halt and reversal by Pallas is a stimulating and insightful trine of 120-degrees by the Sun and Uranus in fire signs (10:23PM PDT). Breakthroughs in higher consciousness abound.

Daily Cosmic Calendar for July 26

Before you know it, another celestial body station will make its presence known as Pallas is due for a stoppage and reversal at 12 degrees of Aries on Monday July 30. Pallas has much to do with problem-solving, strategy sessions and mental brilliance. You can tune into its potency even several days before it actually becomes motionless from the Earth’s point of view. In the meantime, you need to deal with an immediate challenge as the First Quarter Sun-Moon Phase (energizing 4 degrees of Leo and Scorpio) arrives on the scene at 1:57AM PDT. Be willing and even eager to cut through obstacles holding you back from being successful in your many fields of expertise. A major challenge today concerns a void lunar cycle starting in Scorpio at 8:39AM PDT that will last until Friday night at 10:19PM PDT. Giving you another bout of potential discontent is Mercury making an off-kilter, 150-degree tie to distant Pluto (12:14PM PDT). Take a respite from business-as-usual. Be a good listener instead of trying to figure everything out on your own. More advantageous and auspicious is an inspirational, 72-degree connection from Venus to Uranus (6:19PM PDT). Experimentation and improvisation in the arts is emphasized. Learn more about esoteric philosophy and the power of meditation to alter your life for the highest good.

Daily General Horoscopes for July 24

Today is fraught with the challenges of erratic energy. The socially savvy Libra Moon helps us handle an unexpected situation, but the Moon’s dissonant alignments with transformational Pluto and Uranus remind us of the larger changes that are again upon us. Thankfully, a supportive Mercury-Jupiter sextile boosts our confidence while a late-night quincunx from the Sun to illusory Neptune makes it hard to know if we’re really making progress.

Aries Horoscope (Mar 21 – Apr 19)

You want to believe the best about others now, yet you could be led off course by your incorrect interpretation of their intentions. Unfortunately, your willingness to accept people at face value can create problems. Although everything might truly be fine, it’s still helpful to moderate your optimism. Being realistic about your relationships prevents setting yourself up for disappointment. Instead of pinning your hopes on anyone else, just express yourself clearly and move on.

Taurus Horoscope (Apr 20 – May 20)

You might have unrealistic expectations about what you want to accomplish at work today. Although you’re wise to be cautious about the situation appearing disarmingly good, there’s no reason to be overly negative, either. As long as you remain practical now, everything should work out OK. Maintaining integrity is your ticket to success.

Gemini Horoscope (May 21 – Jun 20)

Your key planet Mercury harmoniously sextiles optimistic Jupiter today, enabling you to see the big picture and inspire others. Cancer Horoscope (June 21 – Jul 22)

You might spend extra time reminiscing about childhood memories that are stimulated by something that happens at home today. Even if you must go to work, it’s difficult to shake off these powerful recollections, whether they are mildly irritating or sweetly nostalgic. Enjoy your fantasies, but make sure to find your way back to the present moment as soon as you can. Revisiting the past is only useful if you apply what you learn to your current circumstances.

Leo Horoscope (Jul 23 – Aug 22)

The people in your immediate surroundings are your greatest supporters now, but you have to invite them to help or you might miss the benefits of what they could offer. Don’t pretend that you are more self-sufficient than you truly are. It is your vulnerability that sets the stage for the magic to happen.

Virgo Horoscope (Aug 23 – Sep 22)

Your key planet Mercury forms a cooperative sextile with philosophical Jupiter today, increasing the potential to inspire others with your words. Your insights offer workable solutions to problems that have reached an impasse. Trusting your instincts should guide you toward an acceptable resolution for all involved.

Libra Horoscope (Sep 23 – Oct 22)

Your sweet charm is your best tool today as you make the best of a tough situation. The reflective Moon in your sign arouses your emotions and you’re able to use this to your advantage. Covering up your feelings isn’t a sensible strategy; express them naturally and let the events of the day flow wherever they take you. Thankfully, you can effectively say what’s on your mind while still being kindhearted in your interactions with others.

Scorpio Horoscope (Oct 23 – Nov 21)

It’s not a big surprise; others know that you are hiding some of your emotions. And it’s quite likely that you could be holding a wild card up your sleeve. Your intuition tells you to enjoy everything while you can, but an irrepressible smile on your face will likely give your secret away. Nevertheless, wait until you’re ready before you share your news.

Sagittarius Horoscope (Nov 22 – Dec 21)

You may be inclined to concentrate on the social aspects of your job now, rather than paying attention to a specific task in front of you. Fortunately, you’re less constrained by your previous commitments so you can enjoy your time with others, even in a professional situation. Just remember that this doesn’t mean you should let your obligations slip. Finding the proper balance between work and play is your best bet.

Capricorn Horoscope (Dec 22 – Jan 19)

You might finally receive peer recognition for your hard work or maybe even get a long-awaited raise. Your regular caution is dissipating now. In fact, you could turn today’s event into something more than it really is. Bask in the light of recognition while it shines on you, but remember that things can quickly return to normal. Nevertheless, the positive feelings are yours to hold on to forever.

Aquarius Horoscope (Jan 20 – Feb 18)

It seems as if there are fewer restraints on your life today, yet you ultimately still have to answer to the same authorities as before. It’s just that you can see more options now and are eager to start exploring them. Be careful that you don’t overextend yourself. Consider where you want to go before you agree to a plan that ends up taking you somewhere completely different.

Pisces Horoscope (Feb 19 – Mar 20)

You want to be fair, but you may have already made up your mind based on what someone else said. Unfortunately, your inflexibility could close the door on a conversation that’s waiting to happen. Thankfully, the Moon’s presence in your 8th House of Intimacy increases your desire to delve beneath the surface issues. Get the ball rolling; intense discussions can lead to creating common ground, especially if you are open to changing your mind.

Your Daily Horoscopes for July 23

Little things that typically pass unnoticed may now stand out with great emphasis. Today begins with the Moon in analytical Virgo, focusing our attention on the finer points of life. However, she shifts into agreeable Libra at 6:38 pm EDT, encouraging us to take everything a bit less seriously. Meanwhile, the cosmic lovers, Venus and Mars, form an otherworldly septile that can touch us with a simple twist of fate and turn a romance inside out.

Aries Horoscope (Mar 21 – Apr 19)

It’s challenging to know how much to reveal when talking about a current problem. You might believe that you have a concrete plan that will work, but you are likely to misjudge the size of the task. Unfortunately, you don’t have sufficient time to go back to the drawing board. You must simply engage the issue in real time without certainty and do the best you can. The more you take care of today, the easier it will be tomorrow.

Taurus Horoscope (Apr 20 – May 20)

You might have thought that minimal effort would be enough to accomplish your goals today, but it’s beginning to dawn on you that it’s going to take a lot more work. Fortunately, you’re not easily discouraged and anyway, being hard on yourself is counterproductive. If unexpected difficulties slow you down now, keep applying steady pressure for the best possible results.

Gemini Horoscope (May 21 – Jun 20)

It doesn’t matter how hard you’re pushing yourself now or how fast you are already going, since you’re dependent on circumstances outside of your control. The smartest strategy is to consciously slow down before someone else does it for you. It may be frustrating trying to overcome the current resistances head on. Instead, relax and let the events dictate the speed at which you move. Take it easy and enjoy the journey rather than focusing on your destination.

Cancer Horoscope (June 21 – Jul 22)

A complete shift of plans might be somewhat upsetting, even if it’s necessary. Remember that your ideas may be totally valid; you just need to take something into account that wasn’t apparent when you first made your plans. Don’t look at the difficulties you face as a failure. This is merely a test to see if you are listening to the feedback the universe is giving you.

Leo Horoscope (Jul 23 – Aug 22)

Your determination continues to create progress in your life, but it’s useful to stop long enough to take stock in what you have already accomplished. Make time to analyze what you truly want and then revise your plans so they reflect your desires. Don’t worry if satisfaction seems just out of reach now. Do what you must while believing that the good times will return.

Virgo Horoscope (Aug 23 – Sep 22)

You are becoming increasingly focused on your goals, but the Moon in your sign stirs dissatisfaction with your current situation. Before initiating any major changes in your life, make a list of what you have already done and what is left to do. Finish up as much as you can, even if your work isn’t quite up to your exacting standards. You’ll feel much better about what’s going on now as you look forward to something special in your future.

Libra Horoscope (Sep 23 – Oct 22)

Your desire to keep everyone happy may be challenged today, especially if you believe that you can change someone else’s feelings. Ironically, the more you push for peace, the more you contribute to the tension. An awkward interaction has all the makings of a losing battle. Nevertheless, exercising patience and letting go of control can allow for an equitable solution.

Scorpio Horoscope (Oct 23 – Nov 21)

You may feel uneasy about a topic you don’t really want to discuss now, even though your inner voice encourages you to speak up. Nevertheless, you might still try to avoid a subject that could complicate a close relationship. Fortunately, you should be able to push past your resistance because you know that temporarily making a situation worse can actually transform it to ultimately bring you happiness. A calculated risk could clear the air of tension that’s been lingering around for too long.

Sagittarius Horoscope (Nov 22 – Dec 21)

Although your life appears to be running smoothly, you could find yourself working through an unexpected crisis with a close friend or co-worker today. Someone with good intentions might not realize that you’re upset and the more others say or do now, the worse you feel. But there’s no need to stop anyone from talking because that will only raise the frustration level even higher. It’s best to take a break and wait it out; everything will settle down faster than you think.

Capricorn Horoscope (Dec 22 – Jan 19)

You are a natural when it comes to sensible planning. You’re able to work long and hard to reach your goals. Usually, you reserve some energy for when you need it, but something is pushing you from within now and tempting you to burn all your fuel at once. Nevertheless, it’s really not a good idea. You won’t get what you want any faster, so retain some resources for next month when you will surely need them to sustain your momentum.

Aquarius Horoscope (Jan 20 – Feb 18)

You may attempt to slog your way through an obstacle course that continues to hold you back, but you’ll face the consequences of your foolishness unless you get it right. This isn’t the best time to try an unproven shortcut or any clever maneuvers. Simply apply yourself in a steady manner, even if you don’t seem to be making a lot of progress. There’s no need for panic; you are accomplishing more than you realize and others will soon notice your work.

Pisces Horoscope (Feb 19 – Mar 20)

There’s no quick escape route for you now, so don’t even bother wasting your time and energy trying to avoid your work. However, backing off just a little is a good idea; it allows someone else to take the reins for a while. Sharing the burden of leadership lightens your sense of responsibility and can bring you a bit of much-needed freedom. The changes may not be huge, but even a small shift has a positive effect on your attitude.

Daily Cosmic Calendar for July 23

Slow your pace around the horn with the Moon in earthy Virgo, but in void mode. Productivity in arts, crafts, and hobbies appears promising – thanks to a flowing trine of 120-degrees from Mars to Ceres (5:21AM PDT). Take non-essentials and unneeded clothing to second-hand stores. Finish old business with a flourish before the void Moon ends its Virgo experience at 3:39PM PDT when the lunar orb enters airy Libra. Once the clock strikes 3:39PM PDT, it is best to utilize the next 2+ days to explore the arts and improve the quality of your primary partnerships. Some volatility can arise as the Moon parallels Mars (5:04PM PDT) followed shortly thereafter by a Pallas-Mars opposition from Aries to Libra (6:25PM PDT). Barking out commands to a dear one is bush league. Work in harmony with key members of your household and extended family. A Sun-Moon supportive, 60-degree liaison occurs just 1 minute before the Pallas-Mars polarity – assisting you in utilizing problem-solving skills to patch up relationships on the rocks. Get a good night’s rest as tomorrow brings with it four powerful alignments that can put you on the defensive.

Daily Horoscopes for Saturday, July 21

Our inner world shifts as the drive to share our feelings dissipates today. We need to express our emotions while the Moon is in extroverted Leo, but her entry into practical Virgo at 1:24 pm EDT reminds us to analyze all the possible outcomes before saying anything. The Moon’s opposition to imaginative Neptune amplifies our fantasies. Fortunately, anything is possible because beneficial Jupiter forms a supportive sextile to ingenious Uranus.

Aries Horoscope (Mar 21 – Apr 19)

You expend a lot of mental energy these days thinking about relationships. Even if you realize that burying your feelings isn’t healthy, it’s still tempting to slip into denial. Stop worrying about what might happen if you lose control; using logic to distance yourself from your emotions doesn’t help now. There’s nothing to be gained by attaching rational thoughts to irrational desires. Don’t complicate matters with unnecessary expectations.

Taurus Horoscope (Apr 20 – May 20)

Thankfully whatever resistance you have recently experienced settles into the background now, allowing you to be more comfortable in your own skin. Use your time to tackle a creative project today, even if it doesn’t have any specific purpose. The process of doing something strictly for your own enjoyment may unlock other more practical possibilities to pursue. Follow your bliss and enjoy the journey along the way.

Gemini Horoscope (May 21 – Jun 20)

You’re searching for clarity about how to reach your long-term goals. Your emotions may seem erratic at times, yet standing on the edge of the future is the most exciting thing imaginable now. You’re considering what’s most important and seeking ways to integrate your personal needs into the larger circumstances of your life. However, you have thought about everything long enough. Go for it; taking a risk isn’t as risky as you think.

Cancer Horoscope (June 21 – Jul 22)

Although everything may appear very still today, you know that a storm is building on the horizon. You can feel it in every cell of your body. Something big is brewing now and you’re not fooled by the apparent calm. Be cool and collected as you approach pockets of emotional turbulence. Thankfully, once your needs and fears are addressed, your uneasy anticipation will be alleviated. Having a heart-to-heart talk with one of your close friends can supply you with all the support you need.

Leo Horoscope (Jul 23 – Aug 22)

You might think that this is a now-or-never day as you sort through your choices. It feels like you have to do something quickly or the window of opportunity will begin to close. To a certain extent, this is true; opportunities will be fewer and farther apart during the next few weeks, so make your move as soon as possible. However, there’s no need to panic; let your confidence lead the way.

Virgo Horoscope (Aug 23 – Sep 22)

You may have chores that you must finish up during the first half of the day. If you are attentive to your commitments, you will be ready to react to a new set of needs and desires as they become more pressing later in the afternoon. Find clarity within your own mind before trying to impose your position on the rest of the world. Take the time you need to sort out what matters most to your heart.

Libra Horoscope (Sep 23 – Oct 22)

You better get to work if you have a deadline looming, whether it’s imposed by outside circumstances or by your own desire for completion. Either way, it’s crucial to stay on track today. These past weeks have been rather hectic, but now it’s time to focus your intentions and apply your talents to what’s right in front of you. Don’t worry about next year; concentrate on the present moment and do your best.

Scorpio Horoscope (Oct 23 – Nov 21)

Your visions become more grounded now that the Moon shifts into Virgo, a practical Earth sign. Instinctively you know how your dreams co-create your future. This is very serious work and you’re surely not going to waste it on unrealistic illusions that are so idealistic they have no possibility of fulfillment. Even if you know your limits, don’t let them hold you back from doing something extraordinary.

Sagittarius Horoscope (Nov 22 – Dec 21)

Circumstances pull your thoughts and feelings back to earth today. You are needed by others at work and at home, so your own personal agenda may have to be placed on the back burner for a while. Nevertheless, you still harbor deep feelings that drive you to make your life more meaningful. There’s no reason to be satisfied with the status quo. Dream big and reach for the stars.

Capricorn Horoscope (Dec 22 – Jan 19)

Although you may have trouble focusing your attention for the first part of the day, you’re ready to get to work by the time the Moon enters industrious Virgo. But your good intentions aren’t enough because your brain is buzzing with exciting ideas. Instead of trying to limit your expression by settling into comfortable old routines, try a radical new approach. Even if it takes longer to finish a task, it’s more interesting to take the scenic route and explore alternative options along the way.

Aquarius Horoscope (Jan 20 – Feb 18)

You may prefer to do a project on your own today, but someone plays an important role in your day anyhow. Needless to say, this could be frustrating since you will need to make compromises in order to earn the support of others. Even if you resist engaging in social games to get assistance, you can turn things around by changing your attitude. Everything will fall into place if you express your gratitude instead of displaying your irritation. Approaching the situation with an open mind makes all the difference.

Pisces Horoscope (Feb 19 – Mar 20)

You might feel as if you’re falling short today, especially if others are overly critical of what you’re doing. Thankfully, someone’s harsh judgment may say more about his or her insecurity than about your behavior. Don’t take it personally; instead of being defensive, listen to what’s being said and use it as a catalyst for improving your work. The best way to prove yourself is to take your game to a higher level.

New Moon Report for July 21 – Jupiter sextile Uranus

New Moon Report

by Jeff Jawer

Jupiter sextile Uranus

Saturday, July 21, 9:04 pm PDT, Sunday, July 22, 12:04 am EDT

Innovation is spurred with this mind-expanding aspect. Visionary Jupiter in multi-faceted Gemini is open to innumerable ideas and this smart sextile from brilliant Uranus in Aries keeps them coming. Intuition is highly active within a week of this transit, but the excitement of discovering a new concept can incite careless speech. Take some time to digest fresh concepts before committing to act on them or trying to sell them to others. This may be a time of genius, but it’s wise to consider these insights provisional until they’re researched and tested in the real world.

Daily Cosmic Calendar for July 21

There is no sense rushing out of the starting gate quickly this morning while the Moon in Leo is in void mode until 10:25AM PDT. Enjoy breakfast in bed and mellow out completely. Once the lunar orb enters meticulous and industrious Virgo (10:25AM PDT), it is a good time to stock up on cereals, grains, vitamins, minerals, tea, nuts, seeds and seasonings. Weed your garden and learn more about the properties of medicinal herbs. Repair work of any kind is highlighted when the Moon energizes the sixth sign of the zodiac. See yourself as a supreme organizer and efficiency master. The evening hours reveal a highly-productive, 60-degree alliance forming between Mercury in Leo and Ceres in Gemini (9:47PM PDT). The main alignment actually happens a little earlier – although it is influential for the entire day – as Jupiter in Gemini forms a supportive, 60-degree rapport with Uranus in Aries (9:05PM PDT). Anticipate breakthroughs in higher consciousness occurring with the advent of this superlative sky pattern. If you are working on important educational, publishing, scientific or metaphysical ventures, it is okay to burn the midnight oil as encouraging and exciting aspects connecting the largest planet in our solar system with the planet of radical change don’t happen very often.

Your Daily Horoscopes for Friday, July 20

We attract more attention than we really want today since the lively Leo Moon encourages us to be bold and place our feelings out in the open. Although we know how important it is to make time for relaxation and enjoyment, an anxious alignment between optimistic Jupiter and realistic Saturn reminds us we must fulfill our responsibilities before taking off for the weekend. Relying on sound logic is more valuable now than pursuing our desires.

Aries Horoscope (Mar 21 – Apr 19)

You’re probably feeling more positive about what you are doing with your life now, but you may be afraid of moving too fast and missing something important. You are enthused because it seems as if you just woke up from a deep sleep. However, rather than acting impulsively, it’s best to proceed slowly and deliberately. If you work yourself into a frenzy of activity today, you might have to retreat so that you don’t go over the edge.

Taurus Horoscope (Apr 20 – May 20)

Two facets of your personality clash today without a clear winner. Unfortunately, the more you try to hold on to your original plan, the harder it will be to resolve the current tension. Nevertheless, it’s challenging to decide how far to go in reviewing and revising your agenda. You could end up wasting precious resources by making the wrong choice. Although uncertainty doesn’t feel good, the best solutions will come on their own accord if you simply remain open to change.

Gemini Horoscope (May 21 – Jun 20)

You can easily run circles around everyone else now because you are at the top of your game. Others may find you irresistible today but it’s crucial not to overplay your hand. If you appear too confident, you might attract the very same attention you were attempting to avoid. Your plans could backfire if you try too hard, so relax and let the day unfold at its own pace.

Cancer Horoscope (June 21 – Jul 22)

Opening your heart to a trustworthy companion today could make you a bit uncomfortable. As sensitive as you are, try not to get too caught up in the response you receive to your emotional disclosure. What anyone else thinks now isn’t as important as what you are feeling. Ultimately, you are better off once you share what’s on your mind, even if your trust isn’t immediately reciprocated. The awkward moment is temporary, but your relationship will improve for the long-term if you’re willing to take the risk.

Leo Horoscope (Jul 23 – Aug 22)

The Moon is back in your sign, encouraging you to let everyone know exactly what you want. However, expressing your needs could create problems if you seem too demanding. Concentrating on your desires prevents you from being fully present in a relationship, and you may not even notice if another person is already offering you love and support. Paradoxically, removing yourself from the spotlight is a more reliable path to satisfaction now, so focus on others rather than yourself.

Virgo Horoscope (Aug 23 – Sep 22)

What someone doesn’t say now can grab your attention, as if the unspoken words have additional power because they are kept secret. Your fear of the unknown might create a simple misunderstanding, especially if you assume the worst. But don’t try to fast talk your way around an awkward situation. Instead of lingering on your uncertainty, just say what’s on your mind and then move on.

Libra Horoscope (Sep 23 – Oct 22)

Someone comes through for you today, offering an enjoyable escape or a more meaningful chance to share what’s on your mind. If there’s nothing already on your social calendar, pick up the phone, call a few friends and see what kind of fun is possible. This can be a very satisfying day, but it may not amount to much unless you are willing to take responsibility to make something special happen.

Scorpio Horoscope (Oct 23 – Nov 21)

You might try to present yourself in a more official manner now that the demonstrative Leo Moon is visiting your 10th House of Public Status. However, you could inadvertently forget about your position and share more of yourself today than you intend. Acting professionally is a smart idea since your job needs to come first at this time. Even though you shouldn’t leave your emotions completely out of the picture, you are not under any obligation to reveal your secrets to anyone else.

Sagittarius Horoscope (Nov 22 – Dec 21)

You’re encouraged by what’s happening now, but there is still missing information out there for you to uncover. Thankfully, you can enjoy your little hunt for critical data, but not if you’re just trying to amass personal power. Going into denial about the evidence is not a good idea, either; it’s just that the facts may not be as clear as you like. If you catch yourself drifting off into fantasyland, consciously bring yourself back to what’s real before you wander off too far.

Capricorn Horoscope (Dec 22 – Jan 19)

You might have to work harder than usual now because you believe that you must make a significant commitment to your career — especially if you are to reach your goals. However, your current fear of failure may just be a symptom of a deeper issue. Harsh self-judgment could stem from your uneasiness with your own ambitions. Be more accepting of what you have already accomplished instead of needlessly worrying about what’s next.

Aquarius Horoscope (Jan 20 – Feb 18)

Tension in a partnership bubbles to the surface today, even if you didn’t see it coming. It’s quite likely that things are going well, yet there still may be difficult interactions as you express your ambiguity about your role in the relationship. Striving for clarity helps sweep away your clouds of uncertainty. Getting the conversational ball rolling will enable both parties to express their positions clearly so you can work toward establishing common ground.

Pisces Horoscope (Feb 19 – Mar 20)

You might need to spend extra time in service to others now without receiving the recognition you deserve. This lack of acknowledgment could bring up old issues of low self-esteem. You don’t necessarily want to be in the spotlight, but you still may have resentment if someone else receives the applause. If this is an ongoing problem, it’s time to let those involved know. As long as your intentions are for the good of all, speak from your heart.

Daily Horoscopes for Tuesday, July 17

There is more going on than meets the eye as intense emotions rise to the surface. We may try to put a positive spin on everything now that energetic Mars harmoniously trines buoyant Jupiter. However, a controlling Mars-Pluto square indicates that a power struggle might be unavoidable. Meanwhile, the moody Cancer Moon tempts us to suppress our emotions as she makes a series of harsh alignments. Expressing hidden anger is healthier than hiding it.

Aries Horoscope (Mar 21 – Apr 19)

Stopping long enough to let your emotions settle down is a great idea, even if it isn’t an easy path to follow. You could be moody today and fixing for a fight, especially if circumstances aren’t going your way. Unfortunately, you cannot find a sensible target for your aggression — and this is exactly why you should take a few deep breaths and chill out. Expressing your feelings is essential to your mental health.

Taurus Horoscope (Apr 20 – May 20)

This is a wonderful day for a quick getaway, but you might not have the time to do anything about it. Still, go ahead and create small pockets of solitude for spiritual rejuvenation. Try going for a walk, sitting in meditation or practicing yoga. Give yourself enough space to listen to your own inner voice rather than the stressful demands of others.

Gemini Horoscope (May 21 – Jun 20)

It’s often not easy for you to relax and today you may be dealing with even more stress than usual. Fortunately, you correctly sense that things are changing, but it won’t be an overnight turnaround. You might feel as if others will be in your way for a while. In the meantime, don’t vent your frustrations on innocent bystanders or ignore the situations that trigger your resentment. Create a middle path and try to stay on it.

Cancer Horoscope (June 21 – Jul 22)

Although you may feel the upbeat energy today, annoying distractions prevent you from being as positive as you like. Perhaps someone is being more demanding than normal. You might even be drawn into an argument with others who are already fighting amongst themselves to see who is king of the hill. Ironically, you could make the best leader of all if you’re willing to stand up and fight for your beliefs.

Leo Horoscope (Jul 23 – Aug 22)

Your feelings are running through some very deep waters today and it might just make you somewhat uncomfortable if others unwittingly step into your emotional turmoil. Your confidence is shaky now, but your actions could speak a very different story as you roar your way through the day. Remember that false bravado won’t make your certainty return any sooner; it only alienates you from those who want to help. Showing your vulnerability can be a positive step toward developing greater intimacy.

Virgo Horoscope (Aug 23 – Sep 22)

Nothing will be gained by pushing the river, for the water will ultimately arrive at the sea in its own time. The same now applies to your life. Try not to push others to react faster than they can, for it won’t help your cause as you move into your next phase. Instead, be as open and flexible as possible. When others feel supported, they will be more willing to cooperate with you.

Libra Horoscope (Sep 23 – Oct 22)

This can be a day for intense emotional interactions as you confront the gulf between your thoughts and feelings. These conversations could even be expressed as a dialogue between two inner voices. Take a chance in a relationship and open up to another person, but avoid being too dependent on logic alone. Remember, you need both the objective and subjective sides of reality today to round out your experience.

Scorpio Horoscope (Oct 23 – Nov 21)

Social interactions might bring up your insecurities, adding more drama to an already intense day. You may feel as if you are engaged in a battle that you must win, but the truth is that your fears are making the situation more problematic today. Instead of overreacting with unrestrained passion, seek ways to salve the open wounds and slow down your own emotional rollercoaster.

Sagittarius Horoscope (Nov 22 – Dec 21)

You feel a boost of enthusiasm from your key planet Jupiter today, but the buzz isn’t long-lasting. There are bigger issues developing and even if you believe that you have passed through the eye of the storm, there is still more turmoil to come. You could inadvertently make a situation worse by attempting to bring an unresolved matter to a premature conclusion. It’s better to just let the energy take its own course without trying to control the outcome.

Capricorn Horoscope (Dec 22 – Jan 19)

Your feelings are much clearer now as you get a fresh perspective on the events of the past few days. But your current view of reality may be influenced by your unexpressed emotions as you struggle between the thoughts in your head and the desires of your heart. Lean on your friends for support instead of pushing them away. Trusting someone else enables you to trust yourself.

Aquarius Horoscope (Jan 20 – Feb 18)

Fire up your intellect for a little bit of fun and break out of old routines wherever you go. Enjoy the show as you actively engage everyone in intense conversations to gain perspective on your own feelings. However, avoid negotiations that require detached analysis today, as it will be difficult to separate your logical thoughts from your irrational needs now.

Pisces Horoscope (Feb 19 – Mar 20)

You are highly enthused and could even be passionate enough today to take a risk in a conversation or email exchange with someone you want to know better. Listen to your heart, even if you hear your fears trying to talk you out of expressing your desires. Just remember to give others enough latitude so they can be comfortable to share whatever they feel, too.

Your Daily Horoscopes for Monday, July 16

We’re able to see a situation from two different perspectives today as the dualistic Gemini Moon mixes optimism with pessimism. The pressure for change continues to build and it appears as if things cannot go on in the same old way. Excitement mounts along with fear of the unknown. Even the Moon’s shift into cautious Cancer at 8:31 pm EDT won’t prevent us from feeling the energetic rush from tomorrow morning’s exuberant Mars-Jupiter trine.

Aries Horoscope (Mar 21 – Apr 19)

You are marching to the beat of your own drum and the rhythm is so strong today that you cannot resist following it. Exhibiting a bit of self-restraint is usually a good idea, but there’s no holding you back now. Although you want to be practical, you still could overextend your energy as your key planet Mars is magnified by expansive Jupiter. Nevertheless, you can improve your chances for success by concentrating on your goals. Eliminating unnecessary activities flips the odds in your favor.

Taurus Horoscope (Apr 20 – May 20)

You feel uneasy as everything starts to move faster today. It’s apparent how your actions set the stage for what will happen, but there is so much heading your way now that it’s challenging to settle down and make progress. Your prospects may be improving, but this is no time to abandon your responsibilities. The rewards that are waiting around the corner will likely vanish before you reach them if you fall short of what’s expected of you.

Gemini Horoscope (May 21 – Jun 20)

Your positive attitude attracts opportunities, but you must be careful to balance your optimism with more practical considerations. Although you can tell that there is great potential for enjoyment now, this isn’t all about fun and games. Ultimately, it’s up to you to share yourself with those who are closest to you. You have a chance to do something meaningful that enriches your spirit today; including your friends makes it more special.

Cancer Horoscope (June 21 – Jul 22)

You might become so enthusiastic today that you break through your inhibitions and explode onto the scene with a few exciting ideas of your own. This is not your typical approach, so your spontaneous behavior could catch others off guard. If you feel compelled to risk exposure and take a chance, go for it. You can always clam up again later if you overextended your reach.

Leo Horoscope (Jul 23 – Aug 22)

When the going gets tough you Lions bounce back, and today the planets are on your side, giving you an extra jolt of energy. It’s wonderful to have enough zest to get up and go, but it’s not wise to swing into action now just to avoid a difficult situation. Nevertheless, you still might feel heroic from all the potential around you, but if you inflate things too much, reality will likely disappoint you.

Virgo Horoscope (Aug 23 – Sep 22)

You are feeling hopeful today, yet something seems to be on your mind, preventing you from riding your own waves of enthusiasm. Your conservative tendencies are holding you back, yet you still think that you can accomplish something special now if you just go out and give it your very best. Thankfully, you have an excellent grasp of the situation and your chances for success are really very good.

Libra Horoscope (Sep 23 – Oct 22)

You tend to be a people person since you flourish from your interactions with others. Your discussions with someone else help you see yourself more clearly. The feedback you receive now deepens your perspective if you can be receptive to hearing it. Another point of view increases your current choices, so take time to integrate what you learn before making an important decision.

Scorpio Horoscope (Oct 23 – Nov 21)

You are so realistic you probably realize that your current enthusiasm won’t last. But you’re also clever enough to make the most of it while you can. There is recognition coming your way for a job well done. Although a bit of positive reinforcement won’t likely change the overall direction of your life, you can still have something to feel good about along the way.

Sagittarius Horoscope (Nov 22 – Dec 21)

You’re the central character in your very own mythical story. You have morphed into a superhero with larger-than-life intentions because your key planet Jupiter is receiving an adrenaline rush from red-hot Mars. Utilize this cosmic boost by throwing a great party or rushing in to save the day for a friend. The choice is entirely yours.

Capricorn Horoscope (Dec 22 – Jan 19)

Your sensible self-restraint is sufficient to get you through periods of weakness, but now you might not have enough resistance to keep everything to yourself. You’re overcome by an impulse to share your private feelings today. If you have been suppressing anger or resenting someone close to you, get it out in the open while you can. Potential difficulties will not last long once they are discussed; it’s keeping them secret that creates the most trouble.

Aquarius Horoscope (Jan 20 – Feb 18)

If you are keeping more to yourself than usual, reality may kick up a storm today. Your good intentions will come around quickly if you initiate meaningful communication instead of wasting time talking about trivialities. You might not even realize how influential your own values are or what you bring to a situation, but others appreciate your openness. Let your friends see your vulnerability; they can help you in ways you cannot yet realize.

Pisces Horoscope (Feb 19 – Mar 20)

You have a growing sense of confidence that motivates you into high gear today, but you’re probably more grounded now than you seem. You have been thinking about your next move for a while, but your excitement overshadows any previous planning. Others may think you are out of control now, but don’t worry about surprising anyone else. Just do what makes the most sense to you in the present moment.

Daily Horoscopes for July 15

Complexity and subtlety are blended into a conundrum today. The whimsical Gemini Moon reflects our need to keep everything light and easy. However, an early morning Sun-Saturn square heightens resistance, asking us to slow down or even stop making any more progress. Obstacles appear in front of us, although we may put them there ourselves. It’s difficult to strike a perfect balance between our serious feelings and more lighthearted ones.

Aries Horoscope (Mar 21 – Apr 19)

You always have choices as you approach an unexpected roadblock in your path. You can run directly into the trouble and try to power your way through it. When this headstrong tactic works, you are a sight to behold! But today an impulsive attack could be foolhardy and frustrating. Stop and try to understand what you can learn from the situation. When you recognize the deeper lesson, everything will quickly fall into place.

Taurus Horoscope (Apr 20 – May 20)

Whatever feelings rise to the surface now are doing so for a good reason; however, the logic may not be immediately apparent to you. Remain open to changes even if you feel like you’re not getting what you want. The situation might still be unstable and you’re wise to wait before making any significant decisions. Instead of focusing on a temporary setback today, remember that what you say has the magical power to transform everything in the blink of an eye.

Gemini Horoscope (May 21 – Jun 20)

Your key planet Mercury is retrograde now, turning your thoughts inward. Although responsibilities may seem somewhat oppressive, almost anything is possible if you put your mind to it. The feelings that are holding you back also contain the seeds for your forward movement. It’s not time to accept defeat, even if you’re feeling less than confident. Today’s discussions can set the stage for tomorrow’s transformations.

Cancer Horoscope (June 21 – Jul 22)

You may think that someone is being overly judgmental of your activities as critical Saturn rains on your parade. However, today’s Sun-Saturn square gives you an opportunity to gain clarity about an important life lesson. Try to remain optimistic about your options because a challenge or a delay doesn’t mean you should give up. Instead, strengthen your position by reviewing your plans and making necessary adjustments.

Leo Horoscope (Jul 23 – Aug 22)

You are being tested today, and how you respond will have important consequences in the days ahead. Imagine that the complex situations that you encounter are speed bumps on the road of life. If you are moving ahead too fast, they might cause serious damage. But trouble can be averted if you see the obstacles far enough in advance. Take your cues from the feedback that reality is offering you and plan your course accordingly.

Virgo Horoscope (Aug 23 – Sep 22)

Although you feel like throwing caution to the wind today, a friend will have enough sense to remind you about your priorities. Even if some things are not going exactly the way you want, you can make choices that will keep you on your chosen path. Flexibility is more important now than sustainability. If you conjure up the image in your mind, then it has the chance to become real. Believing is the first step to seeing.

Libra Horoscope (Sep 23 – Oct 22)

Nearly everything in your life seems to be moving along quite well. Nevertheless, you are still facing conflict about what you want to do versus what others want you to do. Or, perhaps, someone close to you is causing you stress because they are acting recklessly instead of fulfilling their responsibilities. Whatever problems you are facing now, remember that your ability to roll with the situation will help see you through it.

Scorpio Horoscope (Oct 23 – Nov 21)

Your mind continues to be very probing and, fortunately, your thinking process is grounded. However, your basic material needs and sensual desires may be the source of a dilemma. Your gut instinct encourages you to develop your vision of an ideal future. First, you must make some adjustments as your values transform along with the current circumstances. But it’s not the right time to change everything all at once. Fine-tuning your daily routine, though, is certainly in order.

Sagittarius Horoscope (Nov 22 – Dec 21)

Love is in the air today but it doesn’t come without complications. Although you may not be able to avoid serious matters in a relationship, you’re tempted to step around a potential problem to get to the good stuff. Unfortunately, taking a shortcut now won’t save any time and could also destabilize a romance. Instead of pushing your luck, adopting a slower approach increases your chances to find mutual satisfaction.

Capricorn Horoscope (Dec 22 – Jan 19)

You would be wise to examine your weaknesses as the willful Sun squares your key planet Saturn today. However, judging yourself too harshly could do more harm than good, especially if others are criticizing your efforts, too. Nevertheless, dwelling on your shortcomings is a waste of time. Think of yourself as a work in progress and get busy.

Aquarius Horoscope (Jan 20 – Feb 18)

Ironically, the sooner you accept the current limitations, the easier it will be to break free from the restraints. The lesson now is to work within your boundaries, rather than trying to work around them. There are times to push the edges of the envelope, and there are times to exercise self-control to keep things as they are. Thankfully, the problems you face today will seem less complicated tomorrow.

Pisces Horoscope (Feb 19 – Mar 20)

You Fish like to swim in the open waters where there are no boundaries. But now you are being presented with a restrictive situation that prevents you from reaching your destination. Instead of worrying too much about getting lost along the way, consider your current responsibilities. Once you have your priorities in order it will be easier to work within the defined limits of the game.

Your Daily Horoscopes for Saturday, July 14

Although everything might seem in order, we need to pay close attention to details today as mischievous Mercury begins its 3-week retrograde phase. Fortunately, Mercury’s supportive sextile to sweet Venus helps to gloss over the rough spots. The Moon’s shift into interactive Gemini at 8:26 am EDT adds more noise to the day. Meanwhile, a late night Sun-Saturn square reminds us that instant karma will get us if we wander too far off course.

Aries Horoscope (Mar 21 – Apr 19)

You are often on to the next activity before you are even finished with the current one. However, you understand the advantage of slowing down today and you’re willing to see a job through to the end. Nevertheless, growing bored can still be a problem now if things aren’t moving along quickly enough for you. Accept delays as part of the process and stick with the task at hand, even if you would prefer to be doing something new.

Taurus Horoscope (Apr 20 – May 20)

You are in touch with your own strength of purpose today and are certain you can overcome any setbacks that arise. However, feeling confident isn’t enough; you must reconsider your basic assumptions even if it means going back to the beginning. Starting a project over allows you to build a more solid foundation that can support whatever comes next. Do it now while you have time; if you let this opportunity pass, you may regret it later on.

Gemini Horoscope (May 21 – Jun 20)

It’s difficult to hide your feelings now that the Moon is back in your sign. You might believe that it’s more efficient to keep interpersonal communication within the safe realms of rational thinking while steering clear of illogical emotions. But taking an objective approach won’t enable you to talk your way around the obstacles in your path. Slow down and review a full range of alternative strategies before choosing a course of action.

Cancer Horoscope (June 21 – Jul 22)

You are lighthearted one moment and serious the next as you remember some of the profound emotional transitions that you have experienced over the last few years. You’re ready to move on, but you still may be overly sensitive to your recent past with unresolved feelings weighing heavily on your mind. Revisiting childhood memories helps you to reframe your own history so you can do something brilliant in the current moment.

Leo Horoscope (Jul 23 – Aug 22)

You could run into a few snags today. A recent disappointment might seem like it’s a big deal, but Mercury retrograde in your sign tells a slightly different story. You are being given time to review the details of what led you to the present moment. This isn’t time for rest, so examine how the current blockages are symbolic of your own feelings. Awareness is the key; once you understand your role in creating the present situation, then you can steadily push on through to the other side.

Virgo Horoscope (Aug 23 – Sep 22)

It may seem as if the public spotlight has found you now, but you might prefer to hide from view. You are more likely just to accept the responsibilities that are heaped upon you and withdraw from others while you do your work. But if you have control issues and continue to do everything on your own, your ambitious strategy could backfire. Acknowledge that you need to be a part of a larger group, tribe or family. It really does take a village.

Libra Horoscope (Sep 23 – Oct 22)

You are experiencing an unusual mixture of Saturn’s hard, cold reality and the whimsical fantasies of today’s breezy Gemini Moon. You’re very serious about your philosophy on life and might have to make choices now that put you in an emotionally vulnerable position. There’s nothing wrong with having lots of acquaintances in your life. Just don’t let your limited thinking get in the way of transforming a casual friendship into something more meaningful.

Scorpio Horoscope (Oct 23 – Nov 21)

You can feel the weight of responsibility on your shoulders now as you take on more than is required. It helps to examine what your past has to do with your current eagerness to help others, even if they haven’t asked for it. Compassion is surely a gift, but codependence is not a viable path to happiness. Heal others by first forgiving and healing yourself.

Sagittarius Horoscope (Nov 22 – Dec 21)

Stand up and stretch your wings; it’s time to claim your power. However, if you find yourself involved in a simple struggle for control, step back and take responsibility only for what is yours. You really don’t have to win an argument, since the price can be too great. Turn the challenge into an opportunity to learn something about yourself as you handle the resistance with courage and grace.

Capricorn Horoscope (Dec 22 – Jan 19)

The weekend brings relaxation for some people, but not so much for you. You are a worker bee today and there are just too many things to do around your hive. It may even feel like a day of judgment and, naturally, you want it to be called in your favor. Apply yourself diligently, but avoid any self-criticism. Continue to work as hard as you can while remembering that you’re in it for the long haul. Rome wasn’t built in a day.

Aquarius Horoscope (Jan 20 – Feb 18)

You might believe that your relationship life is improving, but you’re still afraid of crashing into a wall. Try not to get too discouraged if you have to deal with a miscommunication. A misunderstanding with a loved one can gobble up valuable time if you take it as a sign of defeat. But you should be able to accomplish what’s necessary once you realize that the current events are clues about the work you have yet to do.

Pisces Horoscope (Feb 19 – Mar 20)

It’s time to cool off this weekend and re-evaluate what you want from your closest relationships. You may be more analytical than usual and less emotionally attached to the outcome. It’s not that you are ready to give up; it’s just that you can see the futility of trying to control someone else’s feelings. Set priorities and give yourself extra time to accomplish your current goals.

New Moon Report For July 14 – Mercury Retrograde

New Moon Report

By Jeff Jawer

Mercury Retrograde

Saturday, July 14

The backward shift of Mercury is associated with technical problems, mixed-up messages and inaccurate information. But we can use the next three weeks to reconnect with people from the past and to resurrect creative concepts. Listening more attentively and communicating more precisely will prevent minor errors before they become major problems.

Daily Cosmic Calendar for July 14 – Watch Out, Here Comes The Kitchen Sink!

The universe is back into throwing the kitchen sink at earthlings on this rather tense day in July 2012. Many souls are still reeling from yesterday’s Uranus stopping in Aries and reversal. Now it is Mercury’s turn to halt at 13 degrees of Leo (7:16PM PDT) and begin a three-week retrograde cycle that lasts until August 7. However, before arriving at tonight’s Mercury shift, there are numerous happenings in the busy skies. The Moon in Taurus remains void until 5:28AM PDT when the lunar orb enters flexible, mutable and airy Gemini. Reading, writing and research are emphasized, and then magnified by a Moon-Jupiter parallel (9:08AM PDT). It is also possible to come up with new ideas about increasing the value of your investments – courtesy of the monthly lunar union with Vesta (9:12AM PDT). Nutrition, diet, gardening and productivity are important themes today because Ceres forms an off-kilter, 150-degree tie with Pluto (12:41PM PDT) while the Sun makes a frictional, 45-degree link to Ceres (6:16PM PDT) and the Moon unites with Ceres (9:42PM PDT). If Mercury weren’t virtually motionless, the main essence of today’s vibrations would be centered on Ceres. However, the cosmos also offers you golden opportunities and another chance to reinforce your optimistic mind-set as the Moon unites with Jupiter (7:57PM PDT). Then, shortly afterwards, the Sun squares Saturn (9:15PM PDT) – a challenging alignment often associated with fear, pessimism, and chronic problems. Thus, it is under this strange cacophony of stellar aspects that Mercury heads into reverse – placing a strong emphasis on communications, information exchange, words and language, travel and transportation, health and medicine, business and trade, classes and primary educational pursuits. In general, it is always wise to be more cautious and careful during a Mercury retrograde time-period.

Daily Horoscopes for Thursday, July 12

We can use today to take a few deep breaths and begin to integrate what has transpired over the past couple of weeks. Thankfully, the sensual Taurus Moon encourages realism over idealism. Traditionally, the Moon is quite comfortable in the sign of the Bull; she gives us enough stability to stay in touch with our changing feelings without fear of losing our center of gravity. Our unwavering determination enables us to reach our goals.

Aries Horoscope (Mar 21 – Apr 19)

You may get a bit lazy today because something tells you that everything is going to be OK. You know that worrying won’t help matters, even if some things are not quite right. The fact is that there aren’t any quick fixes to life’s current intriguing dilemmas, so let yourself off the hook for now. There is nothing you must do except be fully present in the moment. The rest will follow.

Taurus Horoscope (Apr 20 – May 20)

This is an opportune time to recharge your batteries now that the Moon is back in your sign. Even if you are busy fulfilling your commitments, find small pockets of time to do absolutely nothing at all. Giving yourself permission to contemplate life without the need to be productive is an excellent way to reconnect with what’s truly important.

Gemini Horoscope (May 21 – Jun 20)

Don’t let down your guard today or you could find yourself an unwitting participant in someone else’s drama. Sure, you may have a role to play in what’s going down, but it’s time to step back from the action or you’ll get pulled into something that’s bigger than what you bargained for. Instead of trying to directly affect the outcome, take a more spiritual approach to gain a better perspective on the big picture.

Cancer Horoscope (June 21 – Jul 22)

By now you have probably made a choice that will carry you well in to the future. Although your plans are in an early stage of development, you can still make adjustments to them. But, on some level, the deal is done. You’ve gone through a period of serious questioning and now it’s time to concentrate on putting your ideas into action, even if you don’t see results overnight.

Leo Horoscope (Jul 23 – Aug 22)

You might find yourself in a situation where people seem to be relying on you more than you think is healthy. But don’t just brush everyone’s overtures aside. Instead, find the inner strength to express clearly what you can do while admitting what is beyond your reach. You don’t have to fend for anyone now but yourself, so your friends will appreciate your honesty more than your denial.

Virgo Horoscope (Aug 23 – Sep 22)

Applying your analytical skills to your future goals is a valuable exercise now. However, even if you’ve been thinking about a quick getaway or a longer vacation, don’t put off the planning since you have a rare combination of planetary help available today. Your imagination can conjure up an ideal adventure for you and someone special. However, it’s up to you to bring your dreams down to earth.

Libra Horoscope (Sep 23 – Oct 22)

It seems as if the storm clouds are lifting, but your positive forecast may still be a few days out. Although the emotional skies aren’t totally clear yet, you’re already seeing the welcoming patches of blue amidst the turbulence. Be patient; don’t try to push the dark clouds away. They will continue to drift off on their own accord as you learn to appreciate the rains they bring. Remember, finding the silver lining in a cloud can be its own reward.

Scorpio Horoscope (Oct 23 – Nov 21)

You feel a bit more upbeat today as you simplify your life and clarify your needs. Sometimes things seem way more complicated to you than they do to other people. Of course, others aren’t always as perceptive as you are and they do not understand what you see. Nevertheless, eliminating some of the outer noise allows you to get even better at hearing your own inner voice.

Sagittarius Horoscope (Nov 22 – Dec 21)

There’s plenty to do today, and it seems as if you are finally ready to attack your assigned tasks. It’s not that you have been lazy during the first half of this week; it’s just that there is a lot going on that continues to distract you from your normal routine. Nevertheless, it’s better to keep going through the motions, even if your heart isn’t into it now. Instead of looking to do things differently, concentrate for a while on crossing things off your list.

Capricorn Horoscope (Dec 22 – Jan 19)

You can do nearly anything you put your mind toward today, since your pragmatic nature helps you create a concrete plan to accomplish your goals. Thankfully, your focus is strong and you are determined to do whatever must be done in order to meet your obligations. Although you may be tired and work-weary, if you think you can, then you can. Don’t wait for a better time; start now.

Aquarius Horoscope (Jan 20 – Feb 18)

An emotional conflict today might not be as overwhelming as your recent experiences. In fact, you may not be too concerned at all because you can approach the entire situation in an objective manner, enabling you to rationalize your feelings. Keep in mind that an intellectual orientation allows you to hide your vulnerability, preventing others from getting too close to you. Show your courage by being honest and admitting that you don’t have all the answers.

Pisces Horoscope (Feb 19 – Mar 20)

Even though your feelings can still be quite strong today, your life seems a little calmer. Somehow, you seem to know that you’ll end up exactly where you need to be as long as you move with the tidal flow. However, going contrary to the currents will tire you out. Resistance is futile, so save your strength for when you need it most.

the daily humorscopes for thursday, july 12

the daily humorscopes

Thursday, July 12, 2012

Aries

(March 21 – April 19)

A tomato features in todays cuisine. Sadly, that’s going to be your pinacle of excitement for today.

Taurus

(April 20 – May 20)

Excellent day to crouch behind furniture, and peer over the top. If you can do that while wearing one of those Groucho Marx noses, so much the better.

Gemini

(May 21 – June 20)

Excellent day to study gastroenterology, or possibly to go bowling.

Cancer

(June 21 – July 22)

Today you will receive a gift horse. Unfortunately, it will have a really horrendous case of gingivitis.

Leo

(July 23 – August 22)

You will attain your dream of having your own cooking show, but it will become tiresome when you have to battle your way past people dressed as chickens to get into the studio each day.

Virgo

(August 23 – September 22)

It’s about time you learned some more recipes dealing with zucchini. Lots and lots of zucchini. You’ll need one of those new Martha Stewart “Kitchen Shovels”, I’m afraid. The good news is, you’ll find several nice zucchini recipes in my new cookbook “Recipes For Disaster” (the sequel to “Another Fine Mess”).

Libra

(September 23 – October 22)

Despite having a brilliant mind and a lot of terrific friends, you find yourself stagnating in a quiet backwater, with financial success nowhere in sight. You will go into business for yourself, however, making frozen Piroshki based on your grandmother’s recipe, and will become rich and famous. Your grandmother will thwap you with her umbrella.

Scorpio

(October 23 – November 21)

You will get a new job, soon, in which your most important activity will be to periodically “jiggle a little thingy”. While it will pay well, this will prove to be somewhat awkward to explain at parties. Eventually you will hit on the ploy of saying you sell insurance…

Sagittarius

(November 22 – December 21)

Today, someone named “Svlad” will appear at your door, carrying a large inflatable penguin and a bag of pistachio nuts. Despite your better judgement, you will let him in.

Capricorn

(December 22 – January 20)

You will contemplate nothingness today, but somethingness will keep intruding upon your thoughts.

Aquarius

(January 21 – February 18)

You will discover an odd amulet in an old curio shop, which is made entirely of holmium and yttrium, and which strongly interferes with the normal functioning of electronics. Best not to play with things like that.

Pisces

(February 19 – March 20)

Someone will ask you for your advice. Don’t give it! Or if they insist, simply shake your head solemnly, and mutter “Much bad juju”, and refuse to clarify. They only want a scapegoat.

Daily Horoscopes for Wednesday, July 11th

Although there’s still a lot of electricity in the air today, we are subdued by the Moon’s morning opposition to restrictive Saturn. The past couple of days have been very intense with the Moon in excitable Aries, and we begin to slow down in anticipation of her shift into steady Taurus at 7:30 pm EDT. Even if we’re having trouble resisting temptation, a more sensible approach to life enables us to experience pleasure without overdoing it.

Aries Horoscope (Mar 21 – Apr 19)

Complex issues continue to weigh on your psyche today, even as the real world pressures appear to ease. Although you’re trying to re-establish balance between your needs and the demands of working with others, you might overstate the importance of a personal preference. Since your strong opinions could instigate an unnecessary meltdown, consider backing down from your supposedly non-negotiable position. Compromise is more stabilizing than conflict.

Taurus Horoscope (Apr 20 – May 20)

Even if your intent is to come clean, it may be more difficult to put your feelings out in the open with the Moon’s presence in your 12th House of Secrets. It’s best to avoid being drawn into an intense disagreement that’s fueled by fear of the unknown. Shining your light of awareness into the shadows of consciousness is difficult at first, but grows easier when the Moon enters your dependable sign later this evening.

Gemini Horoscope (May 21 – Jun 20)

You might experience a wide range of feelings that don’t have an acceptable outlet in your current social setting. However, these unexpressed emotions still have a strong influence on what’s occurring in your outer world. It may be difficult to overcome the resistance that you face, but the blockages are easier to handle once you realize that you are the real obstacle to open communication and not anyone else. Overcome your fears with clear intentions and unrelenting persistence.

Cancer Horoscope (June 21 – Jul 22)

You aren’t as hesitant today about expressing your private feelings and you might not be able to stop yourself from saying what’s on your mind. This isn’t about you suddenly demanding what you want; it’s about honoring your inner voice. Don’t keep your thoughts locked up even if you’re not sure about the consequences of disclosure. Say what you must; just remember to be kind in your approach so others will be more receptive to your words.

Leo Horoscope (Jul 23 – Aug 22)

Try not to overcompensate for any emotional insecurity by acting more intensely than you actually feel today. Disguising your vulnerability with an inflated demonstration of passion can trick others into believing that you have more self-confidence than you really do. Find someone you trust and openly discuss your dilemma, knowing that the ensuing conversation could help you figure out your next move.

Virgo Horoscope (Aug 23 – Sep 22)

Hiding your feelings isn’t a viable option now since everyone seems to be able to read you like an open book. But even when you take the time to explain yourself in great detail, you still aren’t sure that anyone else really understands what you need. Carefully examine your motives so you don’t mislead someone in a way that could be problematic. Once you are clear about your intentions, it will be easier to communicate them to others.

Libra Horoscope (Sep 23 – Oct 22)

You don’t need to let anyone push you around, for you have more power than you realize. On the other hand, nothing is gained by obsessing about something that you cannot have now. It may be challenging to manage the intensity of your reactions today. Continue to practice moderating your extreme emotions and seek middle ground wherever possible.

Scorpio Horoscope (Oct 23 – Nov 21)

Sexy Venus flirts with the fine line between delicious and overindulgent today as she stressfully aligns with the Moon. You aren’t in the mood to play games now, unless you believe they will lead somewhere productive. Nevertheless, you still want to do what’s right, even if you already know what you want. Be careful; make sure that everyone is on the same page before reaching a point of no return.

Sagittarius Horoscope (Nov 22 – Dec 21)

Logic isn’t necessarily a part of your equation today as you attempt to satisfy your desires. You may be openly communicating with a romantic partner, yet your words can also act as a smoke screen that hides feelings you don’t want to discuss. Avoid coercive tactics since they add power to what’s not being said. Bringing your emotions out into the open can minimize unnecessary confusion later on.

Capricorn Horoscope (Dec 22 – Jan 19)

Even your closest friends have a hard time understanding how deeply your feelings run today. Although you don’t often express your needs using emotionally-charged language, your heart can be just as vulnerable as anyone else’s. Something special may be in the emotional slow cooker, but it’s too soon to declare it done. Don’t hurry the process; good things come to those who wait.

Aquarius Horoscope (Jan 20 – Feb 18)

Your desires could be overridden today by everyone else’s demands. Ultimately, you might decide that it’s a smarter idea to conform instead of rigidly sticking to your own plans. It may be inconvenient to stand up to others right now even if you know what you want; the time and effort required isn’t worth it. But your needs grow in strength if you try to simply ignore them. Avoid the possibility of losing your temper by letting others know your preference without being attached to the outcome.

Pisces Horoscope (Feb 19 – Mar 20)

Dancing simultaneously in multiple realities can be exciting for you today, but it also produces extra stress. You are tempted to choose one set of emotions to live by, while burying the other. However, you’re being called to do powerful inner work while still keeping up external appearances. Keeping one foot on the ground in each realm helps you face your feelings, even if you cannot fully integrate them into your current life yet.

Daily Cosmic Calendar for July 11th

The universe finally pipes down after three days of martial fireworks, Neptunian mischief-making, and quarter moon tensions. Major solar and planetary aspects disappear completely while the Moon in Aries makes its monthly polarity to Saturn in Libra (2:24AM PDT) – beginning a 14+ hour void lunar uncertainty cycle that lasts until 4:32PM PDT. Trying to make things happen your way during this void-of-course Moon time-span is foolish. Slow your tempo across the board. Patience is a cardinal virtue. Completing odds and ends makes sense with the Moon out of sorts. Once the lunar orb enters earthy Taurus (4:32PM PDT), handle financial issues with flair and logic. Arts, crafts and hobbies are highlighted this evening as the Moon parallels Mercury (9:25PM PDT) followed by a supportive, 60-degree link from the Moon to visionary Neptune (10:10PM PDT). The Moon-Neptune alliance also favors experimenting with a favorite musical instrument, camera, poetry style or dance routine. Start gearing up for stations and shifts retrograde by Uranus (Friday July 13) and Mercury (Saturday July 14). Forewarned is forearmed – so goes an ancient saying connected to astrology.
