Many will have original ideas and explore high-tech innovations. Meanwhile, Gemini and Libra will get a special boost of energy because Aquarius is their fellow Air Sign. Yes, I know it’s confusing because Aquarius is an Air Sign even though its symbol is the Water Bearer. (A cruel hoax.) Actually, this dates back to the Sumerian god Enki of fresh water, intelligence and mischief. And yes, this is the same god that came up with pizza flavoured ice cream.

Aries (March 21-April 19)

In the next four weeks, you’re more popular! Everyone wants to see your face. It’s a great time to socialize; and many of you will hang out with younger people more than usual. This influence occurs twice a year roughly two months before and two months after your birthday. However, one advantage that you might explore is the fact that if you share your hopes and dreams for the future with others – their feedback will help you. Why not test this out? On Monday we have the first Full Moon of the year, which occurs close to Mars retrograde, which is also in Cancer. This gives us an opportunity to resolve challenging family situations. It will fortify us with resolve and the courage to make things right. It means this year we can bring about slow and steady change to break free from domestic oppression. Meanwhile, romantic relationships might blow hot and cold this week; however, by the weekend, loving vibes will be the tenor of the day. In fact, on Saturday, lasting romance is promising! I read somewhere that studies show that people in the throes of romance wear different clothes. And I sort of see that. But actually, I thought they spent most of the time half naked.

Aries (March 21-April 19)

This week the Sun is at the top of your chart acting like a spotlight on you. Because this light is flattering, people might ask you to take on increased responsibilities or offer you a promotion because to them, you shine as competent and capable! Nevertheless, Monday’s Full Moon will create tension between the demands of home and family versus the demands of your external world or your professional life. This year ushers in a “power to the people” movement because Pluto will be in Aquarius for the next 17 years. The last time Pluto was in Aquarius was from 1778 to 1798, when we had the American Revolution, the French Revolution, the Irish Revolution and the beginning of the Industrial Revolution. Meanwhile, for the last 18 years, Pluto was in Capricorn, which is a top-down power structure focusing on the physical manifestation of wealth and success. By contrast, Aquarius represents collective power and shared resources. So, this is the beginning of a new shift where people will make demands for the every day person. Since unions already exist, there will be increasing strikes. I’ve thought about striking. I was going to get cards printed. But my kids have left home plus, I was a bad cook.

Aries (March 21-April 19)

The Sun is still high in your chart casting you in a flattering spotlight, which helps you to impress people in authority, including parents. In one way, this means it’s a good time to make your pitch and demand the advantage. Keep in mind that as this New Year begins, we’re still under the influence of retrograde Mars until February 24. Wait until then to start a new job, open a new business or initiate anything fresh. In the meantime, be skilful in dealing with old resentments and disappointments. (Anger serves no purpose except to make everyone miserable.) This year will usher in a “Power to the People” movement, which will last for 20 years. Mind boggling technological advances will occur. I’ll discuss this next week. Aries (March 21-April 19)

You’re high viz.. People admire you and think you’re competent and capable even if you don’t do anything special. This is the power of good lighting!
