I have two besoms I inherited from my mom. Neither were handmade and one is actually for a child’s witch costume, my mom used them only from decortions. I did cleanse them with all the elements (washing them with Water and than laid the in the grass on a sunny day for Earth and Fire after they were almost dry I hung them in a tree for the breeze, Air, to finish drying thm) and than asked He date to bless them. Yes, I us a long way to cleanse them when using a white sage bundle to smudge them would have been a lot easier and faster. Thanks for the new idea!
