It is time to expand your thinking & develop more conscious awareness! This is a powerful energy assisting you on many levels. You will make connections easily & quickly that help you integrate newly acquired information or knowledge, making you appear psychic (or at least lucky) to others. At this time, you can connect with your Highest ideal and most broad outlook for your life, and you may feel that you are finally ready to live your Truth. You are so connected to your own ideal that you naturally give others permission to live their Truth as well, creating an atmosphere of tolerance that feeds all involved. The challenge with this energy is going too ‘broad’ and missing details that are vital to your success. You will also miss out on crucial information if you are too overconfident and/or self-righteous in any way. Remain humble, knowing that your way works for you, but it may not work for others (and vice versa). And it is ALL okay! If you remain centered in the Light and your own Heart, this energy gives you a little boost to whatever you are creating at this time.

8/24 ~ Mars (energy, desire & action) ~conjunct~ Saturn (structure, responsibility & timing):  

Any conjunction is an initiation and Mars rules ‘who you are’ and ‘what you want’, while Saturn rules your definition of reality and your physical limits. If you are feeling frustrated, you may need to clarify your desires more, than take tangible, practical steps toward them. Anytime Saturn is involved, it will depend on your personal nature, as some thrive on structure & good boundaries, while others buck the system and want to do it their own way (which causes its own types of conflicts in the world). Sometimes this energy manifests as action being restricted and the anger that follows. You can either be angry and feel restricted, limited and unable to move … or you can see this energy as an opportunity to define the right actions to take and strategically plan to take them when the Universe is more supportive. This energy requires us to slow down and double check The Plan (Saturn). If you proceed consciously, your plan has a better chance of success than if you were reckless & impatient (Mars). You may experience a blockage of some sort, whether internal or external. You feel this tremendous urge to move forward in your life but seem to find blockages and limitations with every effort. That is likely your perception rather than reality, so ask your Self if you feel inadequate to the task at hand or if you are dealing with some personal fears around this issue. Remember that fear is:  False Evidence Appearing Real – so try to release the fear and reclaim your inner authority to create/lead your own life. If you don’t, your outer circumstance is only becomes a reflection of your inner belief. You will attract criticism & delays and repel support & protection. Take your grand vision and figure out three small steps you can take, even on this restricted level, that will still take you in the direction of your goal. Mars links up with Saturn every 2-years or so, so even though it is an initiation, you may be better supported for cultivating, planning, working behind the scenes, doing the detail work and foundational (grunt) work that is NECESSARY to support the grand vision when the time comes to fully express it.

8/26 ~ Mars (action & desire) ~square~ Neptune (dreams & illusions):

This can be an annoying energy, to say the least. Basically, you may be confronted with challenges which are a direct result of earlier choices. These are the kind of choices you eventually realized were wrong and “hoped” the consequences would somehow pass you by. Not. You may feel very discouraged, possibly depressed, and be filled with fear & doubt. The key to getting through this energy is to take a step back, reflect on your choices and what led you to this point and, as objectively as possible, evaluate what went wrong. The tendency with this energy is to want to give up completely on the path you have chosen when all that is probably necessary is a little tweaking. Try to identify the aspect that is causing the conflict. If you don’t feel that you can be objective enough or that you struggle with identifying this aspect, enlist two other people to give you their opinion and then follow your gut instinct on the direction to take from here. The other temptation with this energy is to be deceptive – either to your Self or others. Either way – don’t give in – it will only come back to bite you (harder) later. Your physical energy is likely to be low as well. Do not force your Self to do anything you are truly not “feeling” right now. Instead, mediate on what action may be necessary when your energy returns. Be still. Avoid confrontations with others as it is just the energy pushing you out of comfort zone, into new territory. This is a test of sorts and the best way to deal with it is to face your fears and clarify your desires. My personal two-cents about these two planets (Mars & Neptune) in a difficult angle, is to reflect on what actions (Mars) have been taken (and NOT worked) toward the fulfillment of your dreams (Neptune) – and start your “tweaking” there.

8/27 ~ Venus (values & priorities) ~conjunct~ Jupiter (truth & story):

This is an extremely powerful energy that makes you very aware or present to the fact that both your values and your Truth are shifting. There is an expansion in both your financial and relationship departments. Sometimes, it can bring in some material abundance, but that usually happens when the foundation is already solid. This energy is generally pleasant because it is about expanding your sense of authentic beauty, as in nature and the interrelatedness of all living things. There is an energy of enthusiasm around new or growing relationships or projects, which effortlessly attracts more positive energy. This is the best time to create and expect miracles!

These evolutionary times have given us a world of brilliant polarities. The challenge for me is to learn to keep my emotions balanced. When I can stay in equanimity, I recognize that as the power of Divine Light is flooding the planet, it is pushing to the surface all that is not in harmony with the higher frequencies. I know the discordant vibrations are here to be transmuted and released. When I engage with darkness that I see, it only gives it more power.

If I take the time, it is even more powerful to do this exercise with my spine against a tree. The presence and alignment of that strong and steady being fills me again with the true wonder that nourishes and sustains me. From this place, my heart can open to the many more miraculous possibilities that are here for us in these new times.

We are here to bring so much Divine Light into our lives that it transmutes the darkness. One person anchoring Light helps to lift the hearts of all humanity. The millions of people who are banishing the darkness with their Light are making a difference, and the consciousness of the Earth is truly evolving in wondrous ways.

Thank you, God, for bringing your expansive awareness of the awe-inspiring wonder within all life. I am grateful that my Soul’s gifts are becoming ever more evident and available for me to use and share. Help me to see and move deeply into the integration of the magical qualities within these times in which we live.

It is so wondrous to soar with the Divine Support and Blessings that are available to me at all times. Help me to remember this and be inspired to expand into more Divine Light and allow the presence of Love to permeate every cell and fiber of my being, now and always.

Find one flower and look with wondrous eyes upon this divine miracle. Notice the grace of a tree, the strength of its trunk, the power of the root system diving deep into the ground, and the play of the leaves in the sunlight. Put your arms around a tree and take a moment to sense the life force pulsing inside. This slow, steady pulse will soothe and calm you in times of upset. Try sitting with your back against a tree and feel the peace grow within you. Listen to the songs of birds. They sing for the pure joy of it. This is nature in all its glory, and nature will always remind you of the beauty and wonder of Spirit.

Nature is one of the easiest ways to bask in the wonder of life. Just being aware of the miraculous occurrences in nature will stir the life force within you. There will be a reminder of times when you were a child and wonder lived at the forefront of your awareness. When you do this, your life takes on new meaning, a spacious quality of Grace.

Go deep within the feelings that connect you with Spirit. Be aware that you are a child of a benevolent Universe. Know that you are guided and protected by the Angels, and that who you are has great value to the world.

Soar high, and experience the incredible possibilities available to you at every moment. Anything is possible. Miracles are the natural state of being in the universe. Do not limit yourself by thinking you can’t do what is important to you. Take the time to let your guardian Angel show you how you can accomplish all your dreams. In your meditation, ask for this. You deserve to have that which makes you happy in your life.

Life is not meant to be a painful struggle without hope. Allowing new possibilities to play on the perimeters of your consciousness will begin the process of opening to full miracles. It is a process of allowing. It takes willingness to have your life be happier and more satisfying, even if you don’t know how to do it. This willingness allows the forces of the universe to work for you. Allow yourself to open to miracles and to wondrous joy and gratitude for all that is available to you right now. Red Horse Race

Held near Carnwath, the Red Horse Race is said to be the oldest surviving running race in Britain, and the only one whose terms are determined by royal charter. According to a grant make by King James IV to the third Lord of Somerville in 1508, the owners of the Barony of Carnwath must pay annually “one pair of horse containing half an English bluecloth…at the Feast of Saint John at midsummer to any person running quickly from the eastern end of the town of Carnwath to the cross called Cawlo Cross.” The original distance was about three miles. The custom probably originated with the Lord of Carnwath’s practice of training messengers to give warning of border raids. The race was always taken with profound enthusiasm because technically, a lapse in the race could incur forfeiture of the land. Today the race is still run, but has changed dramatically and is no longer a part of the midsummer rites, but part of the August Agricultural Show, and has been reduced down from three miles to one mile.

The Witches Monday

In the word Monday, we can see part of the word Moon. In the romance languages such as Italian or Spanish, this day of the week is called Lunes and clearly relates to the word lunar. On Mondays, a variety of magick may be worked. Because Monday centers on the energies of the Moon, things like dreams, feminine energy, health, success in spiritual pursuits, domestic matters, and things of family origin are especially important this day.

Mondays are best for love magick and anything concerning home or family, thus old saying, Mondays child is fair of face, which seems clearly to relate to the themes of love and health.
