Move your mind into the future for a few moments and actually feel what that transformation feels like. Enjoy the positive change. Continue doing this for several minutes. Bathe your vision of the future in bright golden light, the turn your awareness to the candlelight. When you are done, thank the Lady of the Dark Moon. Bid farewell to the elements and close the circle.
Magickal Activity for June 3rd, Festival of Bellona
Protection Charm
For this you will need the fourth pentacle of Mars, laminated with plastic, and a bowl of salt water. Slowly sprinkle some salt water over the seal as you chant the following charm:
Elements of earth and sea,
Return to all by power of three.
That which may be sent to me,
Unless I have summoned it to be.
I am protected from this night,
By the spirits of power and might.
Wear the pentacle for protection on a daily basis. Once a month, at the dark of the moon, repeat the charm to keep your pentacle properly charged.
In ancient Rome, this day was set aside to worship the Bellona, the Goddess of war and personification of force. Equated with Enyo, the Greek Goddess of combat, Bellona was sometimes regarded as the wife or sister of Mars. She was portrayed as driving her own chariot, with a sword and a spear or torch in each of her hands. Her temple in Rome was dedicated in 296 b.c. by Appius Claudius Caccus during a battle against the Etrucans and Sammites. Because the temple was situated just outside the wall of Rome, it was often used by the Senate for meetings and to receive foreign ambassadors.

No one should ever try to make you afraid of your god(s) or goddess(es). Your power comes from you and you should not fear that which comes from your body because it is a part of you.
To Will – velle – fire – to will the power. Magick is all power that comes from the mind. This power comes from your strength in believing and willing something to happen. If you do not believe it will happen, then it will not. Your strength is your will and your willpower. Nothing is so strong as the human mind.
To Be Silent – tacere – earth – to keep silent about what you are doing. Magick is not something that is used to make you popular or to scare or impress others. Magick, like lovemaking, is a very personal, very private act and anything said about it makes it less sacred. It is the sacredness of the act that gives it its power. The more you talk about what you have done, the less power it has. Do not discuss your spells with others until after you have cast it and gotten the effect. Also watch who you tell. Not all eyes and ears are as understanding as yours
