Lady of the Abyss had to run one of the animals to the veterinary for an emergency. She asked that I post this explanation why we are quitting so early. I know most of you don’t know me but I have been with the WOTC since it first begun on MSN. I have grown up with Lady A and Mystie, my sister. I have offered to help at the office while Mystie takes some time off from work. I don’t feel comfortable enough to carry on the postings. I am sure I will get back in the swing of it but I am very rusty right now. I look forward to getting to know all our new members.
I would like to apologize for not being able to finish up and any inconvenience this may have caused you.
Lord of the Myst

Thank you for your concern, it is deeply appreciated. Turned out it was my bobcat in trouble. At home, we have a lynx that will not leave the area to save us. I left the door open one time bringing in groceries and I be darn that lynx followed me right into the house. I didn’t realize it till Razzy(bobcat) came flying like a bat and jumped him. I grabbed the broom and beat the crap out of him and I probably hit Razzy a few times but she didn’t care she wanted to kill him. Back to the story, the lynx had been picking at one of the low windows on the porch all winter. He finally went through the window Friday. My neighbor called and told me. He had seen the lynx but by the time he got his gun, it was through my window and in the house. I went flying. When I got home the fight was over. Razzy killed the lynx but she was covered it blood. I called the vet, he told me to bring both of them in. Razzy had several deep cuts but nothing major. The vet is sending the lynx off to see if it had rabies. Something had to be wrong with it, prowling during the day and then going through a window. Thank goodness, Razzy’s shots are all up-to-date and the vet told me it was totally unnecessary, yeah right! She is here with me today. I made her a bed and she is laying there looking up at me. She is on an antibiotic and going to make a full recovery. I just hope we don’t have anymore wildlife come visiting.
Thank you again for you concern, hun.

Lady A

I am so sorry about your loss, Nancy. I had to have my husky put to sleep a few years back and it liked to have killed me. I had her for 15 years and she was a big part of my life as well as my family. It is strange how attached we get to them. I think perhaps we get more attached to them than others. Kiki, as you know, is the one with heart problems but it wasn’t her. It was Razputin, the bobcat, in trouble. A lynx went through one of my front porch windows and a killing occurred. My neighbor called me and told me, he had seen the lynx prowling around. By the time, he got his gun, the lynx had went through the window and was in the house with Razzy. I flew out of here and when I got home, Razzy was covered in blood and the lynx was dead. I called the vet and he told me to bring both of them in. Razzy had a few deep bite marks and he stitched her up. He is sending the lynx off to test it for rabies. Razzy’s shots are up-to-date so that is not really a worry. I brought her to work with me today along with Kiki. Razzy has an antibiotic she has to take and the vet expects her to make a full recovery. I made the big lug a bed and she is laying in the floor happy as a lark. Kiki is pestering everyone she can. We won’t get a thing done today. Everybody has to stop and play with her. We are all animal crazy around here.
Thank you so much for your concern, Nancy. I am so sorry about your loss. I know your loss all to well and the biggest fear I have right now is having to make the decision to put Kiki to sleep one day. I keep praying to the Goddess that when it is her time to go, please take her in her sleep. I love that little furball more than anyone I have ever had. I couldn’t stand to see her suffer but, never mind, I tear up just thinking about. Thank you again, sweetie. I am stopping now before I tune up and just ball. Since I found out about her condition, I have done that quite often. Thank you again.
Have a very blessed week & Happy Imbolc!
Luv & Hugs,
Lady A
