It’s a busy, hyperactive weekend that starts with the Moon traveling through diverse and ever curious Gemini. This flirtatious lunar placement adds a playful spirit to Friday and Saturday. But the tendency to push the limits of physical, emotional, and intellectual endurance comes with the Sun’s stressful square to boundless Jupiter on Friday and the Moon’s conjunction with this giant planet on Saturday. Spreading yourself too thin with too many obligations is one way to take some of the fun out of this buoyant period. Yet the friendly Gemini Moon is perfect for chatting up just about anyone you meet, especially when the Twins’ verbal ruling planet Mercury also squares Jupiter on Saturday night. Words slip off the tongue easily — perhaps too easily — as promises and plans are brought up without much thought about their viability. Yet if we take what’s said as speculation, we can enjoy the stories without expecting them to necessarily come true.
There’s a significant shift on Sunday when the Moon returns to her sensitive, self-protective home sign Cancer. Tender moves, cuddly conversations, and low-stress situations provide the sense of safety needed to let others in. This sentimental sign spurs desires to relive the past, so listening to old music or eating favorite foods puts us in a more receptive mood
