This moment is here, the situation is as it is, so go with it. Your best option is to adopt a positive, enthusiastic attitude, and to move forward with what you have.

Wishing, complaining, blaming and harboring resentment won’t do much other than waste your time. Instead, use that time to use what’s available to you and make things better.

Your goals and dreams are too important to put off until conditions are perfect. Go with the conditions as they are, and get busy right now with making those dreams come true.

There’s much to distract you, and it’s easy to make perfectly reasonable excuses out of those distractions. Yet you can choose instead to focus on the task at hand, using your diligent efforts to create what you desire from what you have.

Go with what you have, from where you are, with the powerful passion of authentic purpose. And you can end up anywhere you choose.

Act on your dreams

Your most treasured dreams are far too valuable to be hidden away. Instead, put them into action so that they become real and vibrant contributions to your world.

Every moment will be filled with some activity or another. So fill as many of those moments as you can today with positive action.

You’re always moving in some direction or another. So move steadily in the direction of those things you value and treasure most.

It can be all too easy to get caught up in the empty distractions that continually come your way. But do you really want to waste your time and energy on them when there is so much more you can be doing?

Pick the most positive, valuable, magnificent thing you can imagine and put it into action. Let it fill your thoughts and fill your moments.

When each action, no matter what it may be, is taken as a step toward what you treasure most, the power of joy and purpose will fill your efforts. Put your dreams into action, and put your own special value into life.

Dream Summons to the Beyond

1. Create an infusion by pouring boiling water over yerba santa, “holy herb.”

2. Bring the strained liquid to the cemetery and sprinkle it over the grave belonging to the person whom you wish to see and perhaps communicate with.

3. The person will appear in your dreams that very night, although the extent to which one can communicate may be dependent on your dream skills.

DREAMING IN THE GARDEN

Dreams can be merely entertaining or intense and prophetic.
Many natural aids to dreaming can be found in the garden.
If you want peaceful dreams that are relaxing, place a vase of jasmine by your bed.
If you are having nightmares and wish them stopped, place morning glories in the vase instead.
If you need to learn something in a dream, place a bay leaf under your pillow and ask for the knowledge.
If you just want nice dreams, use a sachet of lavender.
If you want to send a psychic dream to a loved one, blow the seeds off the top of a dandelion in his or her
direction and project your wish, then go right to sleep.
If you want your dreams to come true, you can do one of two spells.
At midnight on a Friday, in silence, gather nine small non spiny holly leaves and wrap them in a cloth.
Place them under your pillow, make your wish, and go to sleep. Your dreams will come true.
Another ancient spell is to scatter marigold flowers under your bed, make your wish, and then say:
Wish I want and wish I may
Come to me through dream so fair
Come by night and come by day
Come, thou wish, and ride thee here

Perspective of abundance

Consider the overwhelming abundance to which you are already connected. When you fully value and appreciate what you do have, there is no need to obsess and distress over what you don’t have.

By all means dream, and work to make those dreams real. Yet do it from an empowered perspective of abundance, not from a weak position of need.

Seek not to take from life, for in truth you already and always have more than enough. Choose instead to see yourself continually giving to life, and thereby fulfilling the most beautiful possibilities that live within you.

It is by sincerely giving of yourself that you strengthen your connection with life’s abundance. The more often you act to make a difference, the more resources you’ll have for doing so.

See each day, each task, each action from a perspective of abundance. Transform that abundance into value and fulfillment, and raise your world higher and higher.

Feel your purpose, feel your dreams, and then act upon them with confidence. As you make meaningful use of it, life’s abundance keeps on coming your way.

Give yourself a dream

Give yourself a good, solid, clear and meaningful reason to do whatever you’re doing. Give yourself a real, authentic dream.

Give yourself a dream that has meaning, and that compels you forward. Keep yourself solidly connected to that dream.

Let your dream flow naturally and honestly from the vision you have for how life can be. Make your dream so big and exciting that you cannot fail to put the best of yourself into it.

Give yourself a dream, and give it to all the world as well. Choose a dream that enables you to lift others higher as you lift yourself higher and do what you truly love.

Let go of the excuses, the complaints, the anger, envy and frustration. Put the miraculous power of your thoughts, words and actions into the good and positive things that truly matter.

At this time of new beginnings, choose to live with more substance and meaning than ever before. Give yourself a dream, and give all of life the unique benefit of the very best you can be.

If a real lover isn’t in your bed, summon a dream lover instead. Aphrodite’s favorite herbs incite dreamtime revels. Allow yourself to air-dry, the herbs will linger on your skin and attract real life lovers, too.

Use six drops of essential oil of myrtle and six drops of rose altar in your bath.

THE MAGICAL DIARY

Sometimes it is helpful to keep a diary of your

magical experiments and research. Such a diary should include

the date, perhaps even some astrological data (or anything

else you think may have a relationship to what you are doing).

This is also a good time to begin recording your dreams —

at least the important ones — in a dream diary. Your dreams

can tell you a great deal about yourself, and may sometimes

reveal premonitions. Dreams are personal. Don’t fall for the

commercial ‘dream book’ gimmick.

Waking Dream

Envision a dream before going to sleep.
Decide where you will go, and what will happen in the dream.
Then just as you feel yourself falling asleep, walk into the dream.

Practice by stepping into images: tarot cards, paintings, whatever–just pick safe appealing ones, rather than scary nightmare images. Practice emerging and returning from the images too.
