A Ribbon Attraction Spell

A Ribbon Attraction Spell

You will need a pink ribbon, a mirror, some honey, pen, paper, and a candle.
Burn some sweet smelling incense…heather or violet is perfect for this. Pass the ribbon through the smoke three times saying:

“Ribbon be thou the bearer of love. Ribbon be thou the bearer of happiness.”

Now put a dab of honey on the ribbon and then on your tongue. As you taste the honey, say:

“Honey, bring me the sweetness of love.”

Repeat three times. Now hold up the mirror and look into it. See yourself reflected there. Now say this three times:

“I am Goddess and Goddess is me. She is beautiful. So Mote It Be.”

Now dab a bit of honey on the candle and wrap the ribbon around it. Hold it between your hands as you say (again three times)

“From ribbon to candle
The magic shall go
From candle to astral
The flame makes it so.”

Remove the ribbon and light the candle. Let the candle burn down. While it is burning you will be writing what you want in a partner on a piece of paper. Be specific…say “likes kittens but hates frogs” if that is what you want. Don’t specify any person. It will backfire badly.

When you have finished your list (and you can make mistakes and scratch out or start over), fold the list three times. Tie it up with the pink ribbon. Snuff out the candle if it is still burning. Put the list between your mattress and your box springs.

Each night for the next week you must look at yourself in the mirror and repeat the mirror charm.

“I am Goddess and Goddess is me. She is beautiful. So Mote It Be.”

At the end of the week, you can stop the mirror charm or continue it. That is your choice. Your spell will bring you love within 7 weeks.

A Love Bell Spell

A Love Bell Spell

Hang up a bell with a pleasant ring in a window which remains open for a good part of each day, and through which the wind blows (preferable the West wind).

As you do so, speak these words:

“Little bell of love,
I hang you to whisper my need for love on the breezes and winds.
Little bell of love,
Speak of my need for love to your brothers and sisters.
Little bell of love,
I ask you to speak softly and draw to me someone who listens.”

Every time the bell rings, it is “whispering” of your need for love.

Full Moon/Chant To Seal A Spell During this Phase

Full Moon
The Moon’s energy is most intense when She reaches abundant fullness. Any magickal effort, especially difficult ones, can benefit greatly from the potency of this phase. Use the full Moon to amplify magickal intent and to give spellworkings additional power.
To seal spells performed during the full Moon, use this chant or one of your own choosing:
Abundant Mother, Moon so bright
Hear my plea upon this night.
Your fertile power lend this spell;
Make it potent, strong and well.

Ritual To Receive The Protection Of The Moon

Place a jewel, that you regularly carry on you, in a cup of spring water a day before the full moon. The following day, on the evening of full moon, stir the water three times with your finger in a clockwise motion. Take the cup in your hands and in a clockwise, stirring motion, move the cup in a clockwise, circular, stirring motion three times.

Then, repeat these words aloud:

O LIGHT OF THE MOON,
WRAP ME,
PROTECT ME,
KEEP ME FROM HARM.

Raise the cup towards the sky and drink the water. Remove the jewel from the cup. You must carry it on your person to the next full moon in order to ensure your protection.

Repeat this ritual every month to benefit from its influence.

To Obtain Money During the Full Moon

To Obtain Money…

Done During the Full Moon…

Fill your cauldron half full of water and drop a silver coin into it. Position the cauldron so that the light from the moon shines into the water. Gently sweep your hands just above the surface, symbolically gathering the Moon’s silver.

While doing this say…

“Lovely Lady of the Moon, bring to me your
wealth right soon. Fill my hands with silver
and gold. All you give, my purse can hold.”

Repeat this three times. When finished, pour the water upon the earth.

Ritual Work

HPS says:

The Charge of the Goddess says, Whenever you have need of anything, once in the month, and better it be when the moon is full, then ye shall assemble in some secret place and adore the spirit of me, who am Queen of all Witcheries.

The Moon is full, and we are assembled here to ____________ (state in detail a need of a group member, absent or present, and why magickal intervention is needed and appropriate).

Each of us will write a wish as we would have it done for ____________ (name of person). Always remember the Rede and the Law of Three.

After all have written, we will release the wishes into the universe by burning them.

Keep silence now and enter into a time of meditation and consider your wish for __________ (name of person).

When all have finished meditating and writing, each person should offer the wish to each quarter (with appropriate wording of her/his choice), starting with East and moving deosil. Then move to the altar and light the paper from the Goddess Candle and drop it in the cauldron saying:

With this flame and smoke I release this wish to the winds of time, that my request be fulfilled.
So Mote it Be.

Chant should continue until last person burns her/his wish. The chant should be about strengthening each person’s wish.

Pause of silence

Blessing of Cakes and Ale

HPS says:

The cakes and the ale are outward symbols, sacraments, of our inward relationship with the Goddess and the God. With these small offerings, we honor both Goddess and God.

We of the Craft believe that our words and our actions shape reality. Tonight, we have called upon the power of Goddess and God to _____________ (re-state what and why we just did).

As we have willed it, so mote it be. Let us honor the gods and remember our tie to them.
Sharing of Cakes and Ale

Full-Moon Blessing Rite

pent

Full-Moon Blessing Rite

Items Needed:
A clear glass bowl
One bottle of Spring water
Silver paint
One sprig of jasmine
One moonstone
One white pillar candle
Gardenia incense and oil

Inscribe the symbol(moon symbol with crossed spears on it) on the outside side bottom of the bowl with the silver paint.

Set your altar or small table so the light of the full moon will shine directly on it. Fill the bowl with the spring water. Place the bowl and all the other items called for on the altar. Light the white pillar candle and say:

Lady I now invite thee here,
As the Mother of sacred Earth.
Whose power is beyond compare,
When dreams are given birth.

Hold the moonstone and sprig of Jasmine in offering as you ask this blessing:

Lady of desire, reflection of light,
You are my motion, direction, and second sight.
Mother of creation the original source,
You are potential, power, the ultimate force.
Grandmother of time, wise one from above,
I summon thee here with honor and love.

Gently place the moonstone and sprig of jasmine in the water. Pick up the bowl and hold it in offering to the moon as you say:

I call the brilliant evening star,
The Virgin of celestial light.
The Gracious Goddess from afar,
Great Mother of second sight.

Glorious Queen of the twilight hour,
Wise and vigilant protector.
Thou whose silent power,
Is regal and most splendor.
I beckon thee to now descend,
Great Mystery behind the veil.
She who rises time and again,
The keeper of the Grail.

Set the bowl down. Anoint your forehead with a drop of water. Allow the candle to burn for one hour and then extinguish it. Carefully place the bowl in a window where the light of the moon will continue to shine on it. Just before sunrise, remove the jasmine and stone. Pour the contents of the bowl into a bottle with a lid, and close tightly. Keep the moonstone with your other magickal tools. Take the jasmine to the nearest river or lake and toss it in the water as you make a wish. Use the moon water to anoint candles and other magickal objects.

Full Moon Scrying Ritual

Full Moon Scrying Ritual

The upcoming summer months are the perfect time for Full Moon Scrying and I’d like to pass on an old, time honored scrying ritual originally written by D.J. Conway that I have used many times during the long summer nights:
Items Needed:
1 bright, shiny silver coin
1 small, black cauldron or scrying bowl filled with water
Perform this ritual outside where the rays of the Moon can fall directly onto the water in the cauldron. If you cannot go outside, stay in a darkened room near a window that the Moon shines through. Place the coin in the water and take the cauldron in both hands. Gaze up at the Moon and say:
“Lovely Lady of the night,
Mysteries old and futures bright,
Give me a glimpse of that to be
And as I will so mote it be.”
Look down at the coin shimmering in the cauldrons water. With your eyes half closed, adjust your vision as if you were looking into and through the coin. Don’t try to analyze anything you might see or that might come into your mind. Just accept it. Some people, rather than seeing actual pictures within the cauldron, will have mental impressions, feelings or pictures. When you have finished, bow to the Moon and say thank you. Pour the water out on the ground. You’re done!

SOLITARY MOON RITE

pent

SOLITARY MOON RITE

This rite may be used for either New or Full Moon. The difference is in your meditation and mental attitude in preparation. Remember that the New Moon is a time of outward work and thought, building to the peak which is the Full Moon. At the Full Moon, you should be preparing to lessen the outward flow of energy, bit by bit, until the period before New Moon, during which you are passive, building a pool of energy within you, in preparation for the New Moon.

The altar should be placed in the center of the ritual area. On it should be placed a rose or stick of incense on the eastern side, a red votive candle to the South; a cup of water on the West, and a bowl of salt or living plant on the North.

Around your ritual area, you should place an unlighted candle at the cardinal point of each direction.

To begin your rite, enter your darkened temple, carrying one burning candle, white or lavender, with you. Place it on the center of your altar, sit, and meditate on the meaning of the rite. When you feel the time is right, stand, and go to the eastern point, carrying with you, the burning taper. Light the votive at the eastern point and go to the southern, picturing, as you do, an arc of pure strong light curving from one candle to the next. Continue to the West, and then to the North, lighting the candles as you go, and then walk to your eastern candle again, having formed a circle of protective light surrounding the area in which you worship.

Return to the center of the circle, replace the candle on the altar, and say:

My Lady of the Moon, who is called Diana, Artemis, Levanah, Isis and
by any other names, I come to you to bring you my love and my devo-
tion. May you grant me the joy of your presence.

Mentally divide the room into four quadrants by visualizing a line of silvery moonlight from the southeast to the northwest, and from the northeast to the southwest. Go the East, taking with you the rose or incense. Say:

Sweet Goddess, the gentle breeze is the touch of your loving hand, the
wind of storm a reminder of your strength. The sound of the trees in
the wind is your voice, and the fragrance of flowers borne on the wind
is your gift of beauty.

Place the rose next to the votive candle, then stand there as you picture the quadrant filling with moonlight. See the moonlight streaming quietly and gently into the room, filling the quadrant from center point to the edge of your circle.
When this is complete, take the red candle to the South. Place the gift and see the quadrant fill with moonlight. Say:
Most loved Lady, the light of the candle is a guide along our path leading to you;its warmth the reassurance of your presence and your love. The light of the Sun is the knowledge you impart to us, driving out ignorance and those things which can survive only in darkness.

At the West:

Lovely One, the quiet pool is the serenity of your being. The vast sea where life began on this planet is the vast sea of your being whence all life came; its waves are the ebb and flow of the universe you rule.

At the North:

Goddess of all, the fertility of the earth is a sign of your fertility, whence all life rose. The solidity and permanence are still of it are still less than yours. The Earth’s fertility feeds our bodies, and your fertility feeds our souls.

Go to the center of your temple, which is now filled with moonlight. Everything in the circle is touched by it, blessed by it, including you. Sit down and feel this moonlight around you. Know that it is the Goddess. Realize that you are in the center of a sphere of light that is half above and half above and half below where you sit. Begin to breathe slowly and evenly, deep breaths that penetrate your whole body. When this rhythmic breathing becomes natural, imagine that the moonlight by which you are surrounded enters you, fills you entirely. With each exhalation of your breath, some of the essence of yourself leaves your body, and with each inhalation, the light enters you. You are being filled ever so gently with this beautiful light. This light, which is the presence, the being of the Goddess, is within you as well as without. With each breath, you are less yourself and more the Goddess.

When you are filled with light, filled with the Goddess, the shell of your body fades away. You have no body; there is nothing to separate you from the entire being of the Goddess. Nothing exists but the being of which you are apart. You have ceased to be a separate entity. You are nothing and everything. All that was, that is, and all that will be, you are.

Enjoy this feeling as long as you like. When you feel it is time, picture the outer shell of your physical body reforming, becoming solid again. It is being built out of the Universe of which you are a part.

Now, as you continue your slow deep breathing, see the moonlight flowing out of your body, as gently and slowly as it entered. As it flows out, realize there is a difference. Because you have become one with the Goddess, with the Universe, your being has changed. As the moonlight flows out of your body, it takes with it a part of that which was yourself, now part of the Goddess, and leaves behind a part of the Goddess, forever now part of you. You become yourself again, solid as you were, but changed. You are surrounded by the presence of
the Goddess, which now contains a part of yourself .

Move again to the East. As you speak, and after, picture the moonlight in that quadrant flowing back to its source, leaving that quadrant as it was. Do this at each quadrant, until all the moonlight has returned to the
Moon.

At the East:

My Lady, guide my thoughts. Let them lead always closer to you.

At the South:

Gracious Goddess, guide my actions. Let them always help and never
harm others or myself.

At the West:

Lovely One, guide my emotions: Let them be healing and touched
always by you.

At the North:

Sweet Goddess, let my mind always be fertile and storng, that I may
grow always toward you.

Return to the East to complete the circle and say:

Queen of Heaven, I thank you for your presence, both now and always.
My love and devotion are yours. Blessed be!

All spirits who have joined me tonight may depart, with my love.
Return to your proper places.

Walk again around your circle, but this time counterclockwise, extinguishing the quadrant guards as you go, and at the same time, mentally erasing the white line which surrounded your circle. When the candles are out and the circle gone, rap on your altar and say:

The rite is ended.

Determination Charm

pentacle_divider
Determination Charm

This charm uses the power of the Elements to give yourself added energy to carry on in your quest for a better life. Like four Goddesses, who are sisters, the Elements each have their own unique quality that is powerful by itself, but when combined, become even more divinely powerful.
You will need a piece of carnelian and a red candle.
Wash the carnelian in cool water for at least a minute before using it as a charm. Draw a circle of light and call in the Elements. Light the red pillar candle, and dedicate it to the four sisters:
“Sisters of the Earth, Wind, Fire and Water
Let your light shine bright tonight.”
With the piece of carnelian in your power hand, move to the north point of the circle, and call out:
“Divine Sister of Earth
Give me strength.”
Moving to the east point, call out:
“Divine Sister of Air
Give me hope.”
Moving to the south point, call out:

Divine Sister of Fire

Give me creativity.”
Moving to the west point, call out:
“Divine Sister of Water
Give me love.”
Now that the piece of carnelian has been programmed with the power of the four sisters and their corresponding Element, keep it near you as a reminder of your internal strength and determination. When you are done, bid farewell to the elements and pull up the circle. Allow the candle to safely burn down.

Banishing Trouble Spell

pentacle_divider

Banishing Trouble Spell

The purpose of this spell is to banish your troubles on this waning moon eve.

You will need a pen for writing, a piece of blue paper, a white candle, a fireproof pan and a cup.
After dark, write down all the things that have been troubling you on the blue paper. This includes anything that causes you anger, stress, and pain.
Light the candle and dedicate to the Goddess by saying:

Mother of all things bright and wonderful,

Come spread your light on this dark night.

Take the blue piece of paper and light it in the candle flame, taking care not to burn yourself and put it in the fireproof pan to burnout. As you watch the flames burn the embers into ashes, see all of your troubles burning away as well. Sense a great burden being lifted from your shoulders.
Gather up the ashes of the blue paper, and place them into a cup. Take the cup and your athame outside. Standing in a clear area, point the athame up at the sky and then down at the earth. Now, spin around and draw a circle around you while saying:

All troubles and woes be gone from my space

In my Lady’s name.

Take the cup and spin around, scattering the ashes to the wind, saying:

I give my troubles to the wayward winds

May they never darken my light again

So mote it be!

Stardust Abundance Spell

pentacle_divider

Stardust Abundance Spell

Cast this spell to bring abundance and prosperity into your life.

You will need a gold candle, a green felt, gel, or ink pen, a piece of paper, glue and glitter.

Once the moon has risen place the gold candle on your altar. Draw a magic circle and call in the elements. Call in your favorite Goddess or God of abundance. Light the candle, dedicating it to this deity. Write your dream career or work on a piece of clean paper. Place the paper safely in front of the candle so that it is illuminated by the flame. Next, drip glue in a clockwise circle on the paper around what you have written, and say:

May my career wish become reality. So be it!

Now, sprinkle gold glitter clockwise over the circle and say:

By the powers of stardust, blessed prosperity. So be it!

Sprinkle a second clockwise circle of glitter on top of the first circle, and say:

By the power of gold, my work is blessed be!

When the glue is dry, fold the paper four times, and keep it in your desk drawer until you attain your career desires. When you are done, thank the Goddess or God, bid farewell to the elements, and pull up the circle.
