I will feel better for having done it. The completion of the task will be my reward.”

Sprinkle the sea salt around the candle and say,

“Give me strength, O sacred Earth.”

Pass your hand near the candle and say

“Give me strength O sacred Fire.”

Pass your hand through the smoke of the incense and say,

“Give me strength, O sacred Air.”

Drink the water down and say

“Give me strength O sacred water.”

Now immediately get up and go do your task.

SENSING ENERGY SPELL

SENSING ENERGY SPELL

Many people find that if they rub their hands together vigorously first they can feel
energy more easily.
After rubbing your hands together vigorously to sensitize them if this helps you be more aware of energy,

Run your hands over your own body or that of the being wanting a treatment holding your hands about an inch away from the physical body. Feel for hot and cold spots in the energy field.

Pull out and throw away anything you feel intuitively that you should pull out and envision healing light filling any place where you remove blocks or that feels empty or that you feel needs it. combing and fluffing the aura with your fingers as though combing hair can also help clear and lighten the aura. You can also feel for the energy of the Chakra and encourage them to be open and clear and be well seated in the central energy channel.

If you feel sticky or dark energy as you do this you can give it to Spirit, the Light, Earth to be transformed. In addition to pulling out blocks and overcharges in the energy field.

Visualize and allow spiritual healing energy to flow freely and fill and charge the person or other, being treated do not try to do anything just allow it to happen you are not using your own personal chi because while many healers do use it you could drain yourself if you did and create illness in your self. Using the universal spiritual chi is more effective in any case.

The Creation Of Her

Birth of Venus

The Creation Of Her

And the world slowly dissolves into the ecstasy of chaos
We emerge as nothing
Except her love

It is all I know
And all I care to know
Mother earth create me anew

The sphere explodes in glass
Her silent screams
The hill bends and calls
Extracting energy and giving anew
No rush

The magical forest
Nymphs and fairies flit from branch to branch
Rays of sunshine make sparkles
And twist the colors so well

The darkness
Searching the unknown
Where elves and gnomes dig and dream
Chasms where monsters growl

Peace by piece
Pieces everywhere, in another sphere
Jumping between them
Staying nowhere
Forever searching

In the cosmos, Your throne is above all others, for You are

Queen of the Earth, and You give gentle nourishment to mortals.

And You hold sway over the rivers and all of the sea.
Hestia, Gaia, Demeter, Inanna, Isis, Astarte, Ishtar, Persephone, Diana,
Giver of prosperity who bestows upon mortals all manner of gifts,
Come to this Rite, Queen whom the drum delights.
Honored and loving Nurturer of Life,
Joyfully and graciously visit our deeds of piety.

Orphic Invocation to the God

Hear Our Prayer, O best and Many-Named God.
Fine-haired, solitary, and full of lovely song;
Many shaped and noble nurturer of all,
Maiden and youth in one, unwithering bloom, O Adonis
You vanish and grow again in the fair seasons’ turn.
Cernunnos, Pan, Myrddhn, two horned Spirit of growth and blooming;
Much loved and wept for are you,
O Fair and Youthful Hunter of the luxuriant mane.
Desire is in Your mind and You come to the Goddess
In reverence and respect, in sensuous joy is your desire fulfilled
You are the seed planted in the depths of the Underworld
That springs forth, the Green God, that we may sustain our lives.
You sacrifice Yourself in gentleness when you are grown.
Come Kind-Hearted One, Come Blessed God,
And bring much joy to all.

Blessed Be.

Invocation of the Goddess

“Come to us Moist Mother Earth. Come to us and take your ease.
You have labored long and hard to bring forth your bounty,
so that we your children may survive.
Come and relax, for well have you earned your rest.
Eat and drink your fill, sing, dance, and be merry,
for you have done well, and there is plenty for all.
And, if it pleases you to ask for the favors of one of us as well,
may you find satisfaction there too.
We shout your praises, for you are the essence of
fulfillment, love, and joy.
You are the most beautiful, and beyond measure is your grandeur
and greatness.
May we never forget that we are a part of your Sacred Body,
and may we work to preserve it in all of its myriad forms.

All hail the Great Mother!”

Invocation of the God

“Come to us Lord of the Hunt, Sacred Herdsman, and Divine Smith.
Put by your horn, lay aside your crook, stow your hammer,
and quit your forge for now.
Wipe your brow, and come find your leisure in the midst of our good company.
Have a seat, put up your feet, and pour yourself a cold draught.
By the virtue of your work have you earned a rest, for well have your cared
for the wild beasts and domesticated flocks.
And many a time has your forge burned long into the night with you hard
at work creating lightning bolts of such exquisite beauty and terrible power as
we have ever beheld.
Join us Great Lord, and indulge yourself to the fullest.
May you know no want in our presence, for thanks to you and the Goddess,
we know no want. We raise our glasses high and toast your greatness.

All hail the God of the Wild Magicks.”

Vision Spell

VISION SPELL

If you wish to have a vision true, then put together this witches brew.

Mix this oil, this sacred potion, charged with power and devotion, filled with Marigold, Rosemary, Clove, Mugwort, Lavender, Jasmine and Rose.  Make an incense of the same, to ignite the mind, the mystic flame.
Smudge with incense and anoint with oil, to cleanse yourself of mortal toil.

Chant this chant to start your mission, as a trigger for your vision:

Vision, Sight and deep perception, mystic light and meditation,
trance or conscious my eyes shall see, the other side shall come to me.

Now sit in thought, in meditation, lost in mind, in concentration, wait for the vision that you desire to come to you within the hour.

The Spell of the Shell

THE SPELL OF THE SHELL

To perform this spell, you must find a suitable shell in shallow water. Take the shell and dry it thoroughly. Next, place a symbol of your desire upon the surface of the shell. The symbol must be made with a substance which will easily wash off in water. Place the shell upon the shore, so that the tide will bring waves across the shell.

*Take care to note the phase of the Moon (waxing moon for the gain of something, waning for the dissolving of something).

When the shell is in place, draw a triangle in the sand, enclosing the shell completely. The symbol upon the shell must be facing upwards (toward the Moon). Meaningful words, or phrases, may be placed upon the shell also, or simply written in the sand (inside the triangle).

Finally, give the words of enchantment: (toward the moon)

Goddess of Moon, Earth, and the Sea,
Each wish in Thy name must come to be.
Powers and Forces which Tides do make,
Now summon Thy waves, my spell to take

Leave the area now, and the spell is set.

Once the waves come, then your wish will be taken out to the Old Ones. It will usually take about 7 days for a Lunar spell to begin to manifest, but can take as long as 28 days.

Unraveling Spell

UNRAVELING SPELL

You Will Need:

White candle

Scissors

Small knitted clothing article

Inscribe the candle with your problem, then draw a question mark beneath the inscription. Light the candle and say:

“Problem, problem, melt away.
Solutions come to me today.”

Snip a thread at the edge of the knitted piece and pull the yarn to unravel it. Say:

“Knitted thread, as you unwind,
Problems can no longer bind.”

Wind the yarn into a ball saying:

“As I smooth you to a ball,
Solutions rise come one and all.”

Alternate unraveling and winding with the appropriate chants. The solution will come by the time all the yarn is made in a ball..

Stone of Luck Spell

STONE OF LUCK SPELL

You can use the Stone of Luck spell for anything, love, money, health, wealth, spirit awareness, etc. The key to this empowerment is concentration and belief. When you have completed this spell, carry the stone around with you. Eventually you will start to get what you want.

What you need:

1 Small stone of your choice (any kind)

1 candle (correct color for what you want)
Appropriate herbs

Appropriate incense

Salt

Water

A cloth

Oil (either olive, jasmine, or mint)

Some bowls (glass or crystal)

First you need to meditate on what you want, be it money, love, better health….whatever you want. After you feel you have meditated long enough, you may start the spell.

Light the candle and incense. (Be sure you have all of the things you need with you.) Hold the rock in your power hand. Concentrate on what you want. Run the rock through the flame 3 times. Then put it into the water.

Cup your hands over the bowl. Then take the rock out of the water and sprinkle the herbs on it. After you have done that, put the rock into a dry bowl. Visualize yourself getting what you want. Then anoint the rock with the oil and put the rock back into the dry bowl. Sprinkle some salt onto the rock. Concentrate more. Then wrap the rock in the cloth and leave it for at least 24 hours.

Let the candle and incense burn all the way out. Dispose of the water.

Spell to Bring About a Need

SPELL TO BRING ABOUT A NEED

You need a candle to represent the need, a card to represent yourself, 4 cards to represent your need.

Lay the card that represent you on the altar and say:

“May this card represent thee”

Pick up the rest of the cards and say:

“As I place these cards at the quarters shall my need be seen”

Lay the cards at the quarters as you go say the card’s name and the need. Then say:

Fulfill my need as quick as can be
by the power of three bring the (need) to me, so mote it be”

Attract Money Charm, and a Wiccan Dianic-Aradian Ritual

Attract Money Charm, and a Wiccan Dianic-Aradian Ritual

I. Preparation

Assemble your items. Gather some strong red thread, a whole nutmeg, and a paper money bill. Drill a hole through the nutmeg. You will also need sewing scissors or something to cut the thread.

On one of the nights of the waxing moon, set up your altar with two white candles, one for Aradia and one for Diana. A third candle, red, white, or yellow, will represent the sacred fire. If necessary, other candles may be used for illumination. If you are outside, all candles will have to be in glass chimneys to protect them from being blown out. Don’t forget the matches. Representations of the other three elements, feather for air, bowl of spring water for water, stone for earth, should also be arranged on the altar. A cup or goblet of wine or juice to salute the Goddess should be on the altar as well. If you are inside, you will need a shallow dish to catch the libations. This libation bowl or dish may have stones, sand, or potting soil in it, or it may be empty. If you would like incense, vervain would be suitable, as would any scent associated with Diana or Aradia. Incense is not required for this ritual. If you prefer, the incense could stand as a representative of the element of air.

II. Set aside sacred space

Cast a circle and call the four elements in your usual manner. Otherwise simply visualize a circle of protective light forming around you, as you say:

By the air of the winds at night,
By the fire of the home’s hearth,
By the water of the lake reflecting moonlight,
By the stones and trees of the ancient mountains,
By Dea della stella, this circle is cast.

Light the two white candles, saying:

Hail Aradia! Hail Diana!

Light the third candle, saying:

Blessed be, creatures of fire, flames of Vesta-Diana.

Light any other candles you need for illumination.

III. Invoke Deity

Use an invocation suitable for the purpose of making a prosperity charm, such as the one below.

Hail Diana, mystery of the white moon among the stars, by growth and light and sprouting green, I invoke you; Hail Aradia, daughter of Diana, secret queen of witches; Hail and welcome.

IV. Make Magic Charm

The ideal time to make this charm is under a waxing moon. Thread the hole in the nutmeg with the red thread three times. Fold the bill accordian-style, very small, and tie it to the nutmeg with the thread, again wrapping it three times.

V. Bless the Charm

The power of focused will while making it can bless this charm, but a verbal blessing, such as below, may be spoken:

Blessed be, fragrant nutmeg. As this red thread drew this money to you, nutmeg, draw more money to me. By the increasing power of the moon, by the power of Aradia, by the power of three, draw to me money.O Diana of the heavens and earth, you are the pillar of life whose breasts are as many as dates upon a green tree. Let me have no want. Let me have enough. So mote it be.

VI. Charge and Bind the Spell

Cup your hands around the charm without touching it. Visualize a spark of light between your palms. Will this light to permeate the charm, empowering it. Visualize your purse full of money, and your bank account with a significant surplus balance. Feed energy into the sphere of light, so that the charm is strong.

Trace a pentangle, the endless knot, in the air over the charm to bind the spell fast.

VII. Thanksgiving to Deity

You may wish to enact the simple feast with juice and bread. If you prefer, you may simply salute the Goddesses with wine or juice:

Diana and Aradia, beautiful ones, in your honor I spill two libations. In celebration of you, I drain the goblet deep.

If you are outside, pour two offerings of liquid on the ground. If you are inside, pour the liquid into the libation bowl, which may be emptied outside later. Drink the rest of the juice or wine.

Thank you, lovely Goddesses of the moon, for your gifts, for your magic, for your presense here.

VIII. Return to Mundane Space

Bid farewell to the four elements and erase the circle in your usual manner. Otherwise, simply visualize the ring of light fading away while saying:

By the air of Diana’s ride upon the winds,
By the fire of Diana’s hearth,
By the water of Diana’s reflective lake,
By the stones and green trees of Diana’s mountains,
By the Goddess of the moon and stars, this circle is erased.

The charm should be kept in your purse, which you may annoint with a “Money Drawing” oil. To protect the charm, you could bind it in a small, red bag and renew the oil every new moon.

Spell for Those Who Merit the Favor of Aradia

Spell for Those Who Merit the Favor of Aradia

Whatever a thing should be asked of the spirit of Aradia, that should be granted to those who merit her favor.

“Thus do I seek Aradia, Aradia, Aradia, Aradia! At midnight, at midnight, at midnight, I go into a field, and with me I have water, wine, and salt, I bear water, wine, and salt, and my talisman–my talisman, my talisman, and a small red bag which I hold in my hand–con dentro, con dentro, sale, with salt in it, in it. With water and wine, I bless myself, I bless myself with devotion to implore a favor from Aradia, Aradia.

	Aradia! My Aradia,
	You who are the daughter
	Of the oldest of spirits,
	Of the sun and moon;
	Your mother desired
	To make you a spirit,
	A benevolent spirit,
	And not malevolent!

Aradia! Aradia! Much do I implore you,
By the love which your mother has for you,
	By the love which I also feel for you;
I pray you will grant me this favor
And send me an omen if this favor be granted."

The Aradia Charge

The Aradia Charge

I am Aradia
Daughter of the sea
And daughter of the wind
Daughter of the Sun
And daughter of the Moon
Daughter of dawn
And daughter of sunset
Daughter of night
And daughter of mountainsAnd I have sung the song of the sea
And I have listened to the sighing of the wind
I have heard the hidden secrets of the Sun
And I have drunk the tears of the Moon
And the sorrow of the sunset
I have lain ‘neath the darkest dark of night
And I have beheld the might of mountains

For I am stronger than the sea
And freer than the wind
I am brighter than Sun
And more changing than the Moon
I am the hope of the dawn
And the peace of the sunset
I am more mysterious than night
And older than the mountains
Older than time itself
For I am she who was
Who is
And who will be
For I am Aradia.

This marvelous piece of ritual poetry can be found in Vivianne Crowley’s wonderful book, Wicca, The Old Religion in the New Age, 1989, p. 174. The above brief passage is quoted as a sample of Dr. Crowley’s writing as a Wiccan high priestess. Anyone studying the Old Religion is encouraged to purchase her book.

According to private correspondence with Dr. Crowley on January 15, 2015, the Charge of Aradia was not created for use in a specific rite. “It’s something that just came to me when I was meditating as a visitation from the Goddess…. Since then I have used it as a charge, but I haven’t used it as an invocation.”

As this Charge was written in 1968, I believe it represents a significant and early example of Wiccan literature surrounding the figure of Aradia.
