All Signs
This is a productive week because on Monday and Tuesday, we can brainstorm ideas; and by Wednesday, everyone’s working hard! On Thursday, there’s a New Moon in Capricorn, which gives all of us a chance to rethink New Year’s resolutions. (Plus, this is a sweet, romantic evening.) Friday is a powerhouse day to build bridges and move mountains! Basically, with Mercury going forward since last Monday (it was retrograde since Dec. 12) added to this week’s New Moon, gives us an excellent impetus to make plans about what to accomplish this year. (Of course, the trouble with making plans is you eventually have to get dressed and go out.)
Aries (March 21-April 19)
You’re ambitious and pumped to achieve something this week! Actually, someone in authority, a boss, parent or even the police might surprise you or catch you off guard. (Oops.) Be aware of this in case you have to do some damage control. However, this influence can go both ways. You might catch an authority figure off guard? Either way, keep your wits about you, especially if the posse is after you. Travel for pleasure if you can because you will enjoy this. The overall tone of this week is using your efforts and influence to boost your earnings because this is possible. Use this New Moon to think about your life direction in general. Where do you want to go? What do you want to achieve?
Taurus (April 20-May 20)
Travel plans might suddenly fall in your lap this week. Admittedly, this is the kind of unexpected change that could also work the other way, and travel plans might suddenly be cancelled? Nevertheless, be prepared for unexpected opportunities in legal matters or something to do with medicine as well as higher education, publishing and the media. If an opportunity does present itself, you will have to act fast because this window will be brief. You can also attract money to you this week, which is a good thing because you would like to get outta Dodge if you can. Perhaps you can take a short trip to explore interesting, new restaurants?
Gemini (May 21-June 20)
Keep an eye on financial matters, especially anything related to inheritances, money back from the government, insurance payouts or even issues related to your partner’s wealth because a few surprises are waiting for you in these areas. Keep checking your bank to see what’s going on. It could even be a fraud charge against a credit card? Stay on top of things because something unusual could happen; but hopefully, it will be a bonus for you and not a loss. Relations with partners and close friends are warm and cozy this week. Everyone wants to talk to you. (You love your adoring fans.)
Cancer (June 21-July 22)
Get more rest this week because your energy is flagging. Plus, conflict with a partner or close friend might be draining. Fortunately, the New Moon on Thursday is the best day of the year for you to think about how you can improve your closest relationships and partnerships. Don’t think about how the other person can change. You have no control over that. You only have control over how YOU will act in the relationship and how YOU choose to respond. Before you make a retort or a complaint, ask yourself, “Do I want to be miserable or happy in the next three hours?” That is your clue about what you should say next. Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)
You can look forward to a pleasant year, especially by the spring, when your life will flow more easily. Sure enough, you’re ready to work hard and be productive this week; but you’re also prepared to carve out a little time for fun and pleasure. A nice balance – just the way things should be. Romance could blossom, which is always a fun, saucy bonus. However, be prepared for something sudden and unexpected that could impact your health, your job, your work or the technology that you use every day. Be smart and get things done ahead of time so that you have some wiggle room to deal with the unexpected.
Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
You’re in a playful mood this week! Expect fun diversions, social outings, sports events as well as pleasant times with kids. However, parents please take note: this could be an accident-prone time for your kids so be extra vigilant, especially with toddlers. Keep your eyes open. Likewise, sports accidents might also occur. On the bright side, this same influence can bring you unexpected invitations to social events, including a vacation. Admittedly, you might have to cancel an outing as well. Home repairs and home redecorating and entertaining will please you this week. This is an excellent week for writing, studying and teaching because you will be articulate and skilful with your words.
Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
Home, family and your private life will continue to be your major focus this week, probably because some kind of increased activity or chaos is taking place. Something is out of whack. This means, you will make an extra effort to restore things to the way you want them to look because you like to have a pleasant refuge for yourself. This is because more than any other sign, you are affected by your immediate surroundings. Oh sure, you can let things get messy and stay in your robe for three days, but then you will turn into an action hero and run around like a tornado to restore everything because you feel so much better when your surroundings sparkle. Meanwhile, something unexpected might occur. Stock the fridge.
Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
Heads up! This is a fast-paced week but it is also an accident-prone week so pay attention to everything you say and do. On the upside, this same energy can give you sudden, genius-like ideas! You might also meet new friends who are unusual. Personally, you might do something different, out of the ordinary – a break from your routine. It’s an interesting week! It’s also an excellent week to make money because you have moneymaking ideas; plus, you will attract money to you, which will allow you to buy pretty things for yourself and others. Ka-ching! Be ready for the possibility of an unexpected short trip – something out of the ordinary. This will please you because you’re playful and adventurous.
Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
This week it’s important for you to be aware and stay on top of details related to earnings, cash flow, money as well as your possessions. This is because something unexpected could impact your wealth and your assets. Make friends with your bank account. Know what’s happening. Protect what you own against loss, theft or damage. However, it’s entirely possible that you will suddenly buy something unusual or high tech for your home that is fun and thrilling. (That impossibly gorgeous flatscreen TV?) This is likely because you’re tempted to spend big and impulsively! (Keep your receipts.) While you’re spending, buy yourself some wardrobe goodies because this is the perfect time to do so.
Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
This is a powerful week for you because both the Sun and fiery Mars are in your sign, so you’re stoked! You have energy to burn! This is why this is a productive week for you; furthermore, you will attract people and favourable situations to you. However, something unexpected might suddenly occur this week. Admittedly, it could be accident-prone. (Keep your eyes open.) But more likely, you will meet someone unusual or suddenly do something that is different, or you’ll find yourself in an unusual situation. Whatever happens could be illuminating and provocative. It might also make you feel younger. (Well, it’s true that some of you are having a secret flirtation.)
Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
This week you are still circling above the airport as it were because you’re in a holding pattern. You’re waiting for your birthday to arrive. Until then, you’re taking a backseat to pull your act together before you take it on the road. That’s just fine. Get your ducks in a row and enjoy a bit of downtime. Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)
