Posts December 22 to 27, 2023

I hope everyone’s Yule/Winter Solstice or Litha/Summer Solstice was fun, joy filled and blessed.

I am sorry I did not get more Winter Solstice or Yule posts up yesterday but after only around 20 hours of broken sleep since last Saturday I was falling asleep at the keyboard. I finally got a full unbroken night’s sleep last night.

The only posts that will go live on their calendar date until Wednesday, December 27 are the Daily and Birthday Horoscopes. there will be a link for Georgia Nicols’ daily posts along with the Moon Phases for both hemispheres. The reason for this is though I celebrate the pagan Sabbats, my husband, my children and grandchildren mostly follow the Christian holidays. What this means for me is very busy days from the day before Yule/Winter Solstice until the day after Christmas as all my children are grown and no one can agree on just one day to get together now that mom no longer lives in a home big enough to hold all 22 humans and 3 fur kids. I also have a daughter-in-law that is Jewish this year Hanukkah came way before the rest of the winter holidays, so this was a good thing. My oldest daughter celebrates the Wheel of the Year and Christian holidays. My youngest son celebrates none of them. To say the least I have an eclectic family when it comes to holidays.

I will do December 27th Full Moon posts on Tuesday, December 26th.

Also, starting tomorrow Big Dawg and I are taking 3 days off from his job and me from WOTC and not going anywhere. We’re considering shutting our phones off also. Complete peace and quiet just us and our 3 fur kids for a long weekend will be like we’re out in the universe somewhere with only the stars and planets as friends.  This entire week we have driven 200 or more miles every day to bale to achieve this.

I’m getting to spend the day baking tomorrow!! I can hardly wait as I am a hereditary kitchen witch so, you know where I enjoy spending my time when I can.
