All Signs

Mars is an energy planet. It visits one sign for seven weeks every two years. According to the sign it is in, it will be in a different part of your chart and affect you in different ways. (There will be a pop quiz on this next Tuesday.) This week Mars moves into Leo, which is exciting news! It’s summer, and in most areas, Covid restrictions are relaxing. This means we want to party! We want to barbecue! We want to enjoy sports, social outings, the arts and fun times with kids. (The freedom is dizzying!) Think haircuts, manipeds and restaurant patio dinners with a real server. Hot air balloons! Close dancing! Oh yeah! Put on your pants and brush the back of your hair. “Table for six?”

Aries (March 21-April 19)

There are three Fire signs and you are one of them. This week Mars moves one of those Fire signs. (They are Aries, Leo and Sagittarius.) When Mars is in one of them, it supports you like the third leg of a three-legged stool. Since Mars is an energy planet, this means for the next seven weeks, your energy will be high! Your self-confidence will be strong. You will be more effective and more competent in everything you do. Because this Fire sign is Leo, it means a very playful part of your chart is energized! Romance will blossom! Your interest in sports (especially competitive) will be strong. You will do exactly what you want to do.

Taurus (April 20-May 20)

When Mars changes signs this week, it means your home, family and private life will be energized. At a glance, this looks good. It means you have more determination to deal with your domestic world. But this increased energy will also create chaos and confusion at home. Visiting guests, renovations, residential moves will be a challenge! In fact, these challenges by extension, could create tension within the family, especially with a parent. Domestic strife is classic when Mars is in this part of your chart. Gemini (May 21-June 20)

The Sun is still in your sign with Mercury retrograde, which lasts until June 22. This is why you are misplacing things and making goofy mistakes! (However, if you’re buying a Mercury-related item like a computer, car or cell phone, wait until the shadow of Mercury retrograde is gone, which is July 8.) Meanwhile, this week fiery Mars moves into the part of your chart that deals with your daily activities and your style of communicating to others. This means that for the next two months, the pace of your days will accelerate and you will be much more forthright and proactive when talking to others. In other words, you will say what you mean and mean what you say!

Cancer (June 21-July 22)

This continues to be a time when you’re happy to hide in the wings. Nevertheless, Venus in your sign will encourage you to socialize with others. And why not? Venus makes you charming and diplomatic! (Kiss, kiss, hug, hug.) New flash: This week is a lovely time to shop for wardrobe goodies for yourself. A summer dress? Strappy sandals? Cargo shorts? This week is also when fiery Mars moves into your Money House encouraging you to work hard to make money; and at the same time, spend money! In particular, you will be happy to use your possessions to get something done. Of course! (The reverse is such a waste.)

Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)

Things are certainly looking up for your sign because this week, fiery Mars is moving into Leo! (The last time it was in Leo was in July-August 2019.) When Mars is in your sign, it denotes great activity in your life. It promotes your desire to work hard and further your own interests. It also gives you the energy to work hard to follow through on your desires. It makes you much more of a fighter for your own rights than usual, as well as the rights of others. Your physical energy will be high and you will accomplish a great deal. The only downside is you might come on too strong for others. If you see the hair blowing back over their ears – that’s a sign. Be nice to the little people.

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

Meanwhile Venus encourages warm bonding with friends and groups. Everyone loves you! This week, Mars moves into a hidden part of your chart, which is tricky. Someone out there might not have your best interests at heart. (This might or might not happen.) But it is a warning. So, if you think something fishy is going on – it is! Meanwhile, in this hidden position, Mars can easily make you give others the wrong impression, which undermines your position. (“Did I just say that?”) Therefore, be mindful of everything you say and do. Use your personal editor.

Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

Things are going swimmingly because your ruler Venus is at the top of your chart making you look fabulous to everyone. People will seek your advice about artistic matters or how to make something look better. Romance with a boss or someone in authority might occur. Meanwhile, you’re excited about travel or the possibility of doing something “different.” Do note that fiery Mars is entering your House of Friendships this week to stay for seven weeks, which encourages physical activities with friends, especially athletics, and it makes you competitive. You will refuse to take a backseat position. You will also resent group pressure. Coordinate your needs with the needs of others for a win-win solution.

Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

You have a growing desire to travel and explore new places, new ideas and learn new things. You will also have an excellent opportunity to wrap up old business with insurance issues, taxes, inheritances and shared property. This week, fiery Mars moves to the very top of your chart, which will definitely arouse your ambition. It will stay there for the next seven weeks, which will make you identify with whatever project you’re doing, which in turn, is why you will work extremely hard to get it done! The only downside is that conflict with coworkers might arise because they feel threatened by your hard work and energy. (You also might be a tad bossy.) “Moi?” “Yes, you.”

Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

Like Aries and the principle of a three-legged stool, you benefit by Mars moving into your fellow Fire sign this week. Mars is an energy planet and it will give you more support in everything that you do, especially if it requires physical energy. This is why you will enjoy increased self-confidence; enthusiasm and feel more competent and more effective. You will be clear about your intentions and know exactly what course you want to follow. Mars will also boost your sex drive! (Well, Mars boosts everything.) As the traveller of the zodiac, you’ll be delighted to hear that Mars will spur your desire to travel and explore the world. Oh yes, you want it all – first-class.

Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
