I Believe I Promised You Something Last Week, Now I Am Finally Delivering…….

Good Sunday morning, my sweets! How y’all doing this morning? I know one thing it is colder than a well-digger’s something, can’t never remember that part, lol! I don’t believe I told any of you (especially the new ones), we always try to take one day a week off on the weekends. Unfortunately, we have household work and other boring stuff to do. When it comes to housework, I get so jealous of those TV witches who can twitch their nose and its done. Gee, wouldn’t that be nice! But I did get my office cleaned up and found out I have a dead battery on one of our trucks. The battery isn’t even a year old yet and its dead. Hmm! It has been cold, cold, cold but still a battery should last longer than that. So tomorrow, I get to go to town and get a new battery, if it ain’t one thing, it is something else.

But about the promising part I did last week, I do believe I promised to make a ribbon for all our websites. The ribbon was going to show our pride in our practices and belief and most of all our pride in our Goddess. The ribbon was going to declare 2017 “The Year of the Goddess. Well, it might take me a day or two but I do eventually deliver on my promises. So without further ado, here is the “2017 Year of the Goddess” ribbon……

It can be resized to fit your site, I have already tried it on one of our closed sites. I require no link back to us but I would love to see this ribbon on every site on the net. I know wishful thinking but it does let people know we are here, we are alive and this year we are going to be on fire for our Goddess, our beliefs and our religion. I am getting ready to put this ribbon on our site and I hope you will do the same.

Without the Divine, whether you believe in the Goddess or have your own Higher Being, nothing would be possible without them. Now is the time, we give them the rightful praise they deserve. Please join us!

Lady of the Abyss

Oh and by the way, I am not goofing off, I am rebuilding our Rec Room. It seems that several of our members enjoyed that room. They found it relaxing and enjoyed playing the games over there. So it is the first one of our Blogger sites to come back up. When it is finished, I will let you know.

Also besides the ribbon going up, I will be putting a link back up to Coven Life. If you remember that was one of the sites we were sponsoring. We dropped it along with all the others we sponsored because I knew all hell was getting ready to break loose and it did. I didn’t want to take any of the other sites with us so we let them go and explained why. Coven Life is getting ready to start operating again and since Lady Beltane is going to try to get her site up and running, we are going to put the link back up to it. Darn, I just keep making more work and more work for myself. I love it though. Well, if I plan on getting anything done today, got to run.

Have a super blessed day, my sweets!

    1. Figuring out is the easy part, now comes the bill, lol! He is a very reasonable mechanic which I feel very fortunate about. He found out I use to work at our family’s garage. He asked me to come to work down there. I hated to tell him no but I was suppose to be the office manager and turned into a grease monkey. What did you finally do with your Chrysler? I never had any luck with Chrysler or Dodges either one.

  3. Dear Lady A, beautiful ribon Dearone. 🙂 The old saying goes “Cold as a well digger’s BOOT”. 🙂 Also, it might be the altenator rather than the battery on the truck. if you can start and charge it on the other vehecle, it might tell the tale, and if the lighs have been getting dim at night as of late then more apt to be the altenator that’s letting you down.

    1. I have thought about the alternator. I would like to think it is something besides the battery. I know that sounds funny but I found a mechanic out here I actually trust. I don’t want to lose trust in him and have to find another one. Out in the stick, there ain’t that many. None of the dashboard lights come out, the gauges don’t even move and the lights I can’t really remember. We put a lot of work into the truck last winter. We replaced the battery, new cables, regulator on the side and I remember making the comment, “well I guess the alternator is next, Gee!” It seems once you start fixing things on a truck, you might as well just work you way down the line. I appreciate the help and I hope you are right.
      Have a great day,
      Lady A

      1. I know what you mean my Lady with trust in your mechanic. After 30 years in the sticks our mechanic was our life’s blood. 🙂 Good luck Dearone, I hope it is resolved for you soon. Hugs )O(

      2. You want to hear something strange? Something kept telling me to try and start the truck yesterday. I did and it started. I drove the heck out of it just in case it was the battery. Got it back to the office, turned it off and it wouldn’t hit a lick. Come to find out it is the regulator on the side of the truck. Funny, we had that replaced last year. I called the mechanic and told him what was going on and he was super nice. He came out with a new one and replaced it in the driveway, no charge. He was upset that the thing had went out. And of course, since he was so nice, I paid him anyway. I was hoping and praying it wasn’t him being dishonest. He has always been great. No matter where I was at, he would come and give me a tow, drop me off at the house, come and get me when they were finished. You just couldn’t ask for a better person. I guess I should be ashamed of myself for thinking he might have sold me a rebuilt battery but…I use to work in our family’s garage and my cousin did somethings to people I couldn’t believe. We constantly fought because of the way he did his customers and I finally got fed up and quit. Thank the Goddess all mechanics are not like my cousin and there are still honest people in this world. Thank you for your help. I definitely appreciate it.
        Have a great Tuesday,
