    1. Thank you, Elizabeth. I am glad you have been enjoying the site, that is always good to hear. I have racked my brain in regards to your problem and there are several reasons this could be happening. The first one that hits me…have you just joined or started to follow the WOTC? If you have before starting to follow us, you didn’t need a name or password. Anyone on the net can cruise and browse all WordPress sites. Once you start to follow a site, WordPress requires everyone to have a user ID and password. It is for your protection as well as ours. That is one way WordPress keeps all its sites safe by requiring a name and password, they can keep hackers out. When a hacker gets in, they cannot only create havoc with the sites but also with the sites’ members. The next thing that popped in my brain…WordPress does security updates about 3 to 5 times a month. When this happens, they sometimes require individuals to update their account info and password. Most of the time, people who use a real name are asked to create an ID and new password. Again, that is for your protection. I am betting that is what has happened. They are updating and assumed you are using a real name. So for your protection, they are suggesting you create a new ID and password. Over the years, I have found out it is a good idea not to let out any more personal information than you have too. We have an excellent membership but like I mentioned earlier, anyone can view this site without being registered with WordPress. They grab your name, they might be able to get a hold of some information that you don’t want them to get. And my last idea, I had to contact WordPress in regards to another membership problem. I have told you everything that they told me during that conversation. They also added if none of these suggestions helped, you could contact them directly at help@wordpress.com. Unfortunately, we don’t have any control over individual account, we only have control over the site and our own personal accounts. I hope I have helped you out some, I only wish I could have solved the problem for you. If you need any help with WordPress, let me know and will do everything I can on my end.

It is wonderful to have you with us. I hope you get this problem resolved. Again, I am sorry I couldn’t be of more help. If you need me, just holler. Till then…
      Blessings, Peace & Comfort,
      Lady A
