It was only 6 days ago that Mercury left retrograde motion to turn direct. Now Pluto is doing the opposite, pausing in its motion at 10 degrees of Capricorn (9:25AM PDT) and shifting from direct to retrograde. All Pluto themes – death-rebirth, regeneration, willpower and purpose, depth psychology, lasers and positive use of atomic energy, the underworld, phobias, extremes, repressed emotions, scandals and invisible forces beyond one’s control – are accentuated now and during the next couple of days. [Pluto will remain in reverse until September 17, 2012 when it will turn direct again at 7 degrees of Capricorn.] Being pushy, egocentric and aggressive won’t win you friends and admirers. Events are also likely to boomerang against you – from the karmic perspective – if you insist on making others do your bidding because of your own arm-twisting maneuvers. Allow the higher vibrations of optimistic and happy-go-lucky Sagittarius Moon to run the show. You may also receive a helping hand from Venus in Gemini forming a polarity to Juno in Sagittarius (11:36AM PDT). If you can avoid jealousy and envy on the partnership front, then loving kindness coming from others to you may be the result. Tensions vie for supremacy with harmonic vibes this evening when the Sun makes a frictional, 45-degree link to Venus (7:22PM PDT) while the Sun also trines the Moon in fire signs (7:52PM PDT). Hopefully, the latter resourceful alignment will win out as the Moon in Sagittarius still carries a great force of enthusiasm and self-confidence.

Stop, look and listen! In the early going today, a slow-motion approach to your business affairs is sensible and logical since the Sun forms an off-kilter, 150-degree link to Saturn (2:57AM PDT). Too much hard work around this time-period may not necessarily be worth the effort. A completely different vibration pops up 7+ hours later when Mercury in retrograde motion unites with Uranus at 5 degrees of Aries (10:23AM PDT). If this sounds vaguely familiar, there is a reason because the same two planets converged on March 5 and will do so again on April 22. In a typical year, Mercury will make a conjunction with Uranus one time and then keep on going forward. Therefore, 2012 must be an atypical year. In this case, your opportunity is to immerse yourself in the search for higher knowledge and wisdom in many fields of study. In addition, being a dynamic and eclectic communicator, teacher or mentor is accentuated. If turbulent forces seem to be rocking your boat, chalk that discordance up to the Moon in a contra-parallel link to Mars (11:47AM PDT) while the Moon is also moving into a parallel with dreamy Neptune (3:41PM PDT). Stay out of the mischief-making business and be more helpful and caring to the people who turn your world around on a daily basis. Board, word and card games have a genuine appeal under the continuing aegis of airy, information-loaded Aquarius Moon.

Yet tying up loose ends, perfecting skills and streamlining systems are constructive ways to use this transit. Re-establishing healthier routines of diet and exercise makes this an excellent time to get in shape. Delays and complications in completing projects can produce irritation and increase criticism, yet focusing on one task at a time enhances efficiency.

Doing the Best We Can

In a conversation the other day, I could hear bitterness and sadness
in the voice I was listening to.
 
Then I heard myself say very calmly “We all did the best we could at that time,”
and with that proceeded to share about my own experience.
 
When we remember the past, we have choices. We can hang on to those bitter memories
or we can let them go. It’s alright to remember and share them, even more than once.
It’s what we then choose to do with them that is important.
 
When I was about my oldest daughters age, she is almost 25, I lost all my childhood memories.
I only remembered the fear, the darkness, the pain, hurt and who had inflicted this on me.
It took me many years to let it all go.
 
Once I worked through it… I started receiving my memories back. Sometimes in dreams,
and sometimes I would just be doing something and a memory would pop in my mind.
I would share them with my family at times and I was so happy, that now,
I could remember what a great childhood I had.
 
I cried sometimes, when I remembered things. I let my emotions flow and released them.
I laughed, cried and shared.
 
I realized a wonderful thing. That the people in my life, in my past,
did the best they could with what they had. So profound and so true.
 
I have forgiven and I have put away things I no longer need. I remember the love
and the good times as well as the bad. They all made me who I am today.
I would not change a thing.
 
Now, I help others do the same.
 
I help them find those blocks and what is in the way of remembering the good
or the indifferent. I help them learn to let it go and grow from it.
 
Not everyone had a great childhood. Even the ones that tell you they had a lousy one
usually can find some good, when they look hard enough.
Helping our inner child remember and laugh again,
is worth more than gold. Much more.
 
I hope that you,… no I believe that you can find some of the good in your past
and remember that we all did the best we could
then, with what we had
and just look at what we can do
with what we have…now.

At the same time, the Moon enters a short void cycle that lasts until 5:48AM PST when the lunar orb enters earthy Capricorn. The good news is that less than one hour later, the Moon trines Jupiter in Taurus (6:25AM PST) – invigorating your self-confidence and power of positive thinking. Nevertheless, the extreme dark-of-the-moon vibrations are in control for the next 3+ hours – signifying a need to complete odds and ends before the New Moon arrives at 10:08AM PST – activating 3 degrees of Capricorn. Once the New Moon is a rock-solid reality, it is fine to push forward with bold plans across the board.
