Moon Alert

There are no restrictions to shopping or important decisions today. The Moon is in Leo.

Aries (March 21-April 19)

The key to your success today is patience. Do not jump the gun. Do not be quick to reply without thinking if you are agitated by someone, especially an ex-partner. (Gulp.) People are a bit grumpy and jumpy today. Now is the time to demonstrate grace under pressure.

Taurus (April 20-May 20)

You might be challenged dealing with a parent today or an authority figure – a boss or even a police person. Likewise, you might hit a few speed bumps dealing with work-related issues, clients and coworkers. Don’t get caught up in an argument. It doesn’t matter who’s right. Stay calm.

Gemini (May 21-June 20)

This is a tricky day. Parents will have to be extra patient with kids to avoid hissy fits and meltdowns. Likewise, romantic partners will have to be patient with each other as well because conversations can be intense and too emotional. Take it easy!

Cancer (June 21-July 22)

Discussions with a family member could lead to arguments today. They might be about money or something that you own, or it could be a disagreement about which is the better way to do something. Because of increased chaos and activity at home, this is a testing time for you. Patience.

Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)

Today the Moon is in your sign, which can heighten your emotions and your feelings. The good news is it can also increase your good luck and help things come your way. Nevertheless, conversations with others will be challenging today. Stay regal and cool. Take the high road.

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

Disputes about money, kids, social outings, vacation plans, sports, money and possessions are possible today. (Quite a wide swath that can trip you up!) Therefore, play things low-key. Guard against knee-jerk reactions. Keep your head down and your powder dry.

Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

You like to have a harmonious environment. Even though you are a great debater, you don’t like arguments and confrontations. Therefore, tread carefully today with family members as well as friends, especially a female acquaintance. Do what you can to keep the peace.

Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

You might be disgruntled about something today. Interactions with parents and bosses might not be easy. Fortunately, with Venus in your sign, whatever you do, you will do with grace and diplomacy, which is very wise. Be a role model for others today. Just do it.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

Interactions with friends or groups are difficult today, which is why you might feel discouraged. Don’t let this get you down. Keep in mind that whatever happens – it’s just a brief dark cloud on your horizon. Don’t get your belly in a rash.

Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

Discussions with bosses, parents, teachers and the police might be a standoff today. You might feel you’re caught in that old movie Bad Day at Black Rock. Avoid squabbles about money and possessions. Remember to be courteous with authority figures, because this works surprisingly well.

Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

Steer clear of controversial subjects like politics, religion and racial issues because this is a classic day for power struggles and arguments. (You need this like a fish needs a bicycle.) Listen politely and think about your long-term objectives.

Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)

Avoid squabbles about shared property, loans or shared responsibilities today because they’re not worth it. Likewise, things might be tense between you and a fellow coworker or someone connected with your health. You might even encounter conflict with someone about a pet. Don’t get involved. Stand your ground but stay patient.

If Your Birthday Is Today

Actor Brie Larsen (1989) shares your birthday today. You are a confident person with excellent business savvy. You like to be in control of what you do. You have good people skills and work hard because you are success oriented. This year you are more attuned to your spiritual or religious beliefs. You are a seeker. You will examine your past to see how previous actions lead to future outcomes.

Moon Alert

Caution: Avoid shopping or making important decisions from 10:30 AM to 9 PM EDT today (7:30 AM to 6 PM PDT). After that, the Moon moves from Cancer into Leo.

Aries (March 21-April 19)

Be careful today because, this is an excellent day for financial negotiations because you might come out smelling like a rose. However, most of this day is a Moon Alert! (See above.) This is not good for important financial decisions. Yikes!

Taurus (April 20-May 20)

You are the financial wizard of the zodiac so do be aware of today’s challenge. Most of this day is a Moon Alert. This means restrict spending to food and gas and avoid important decisions. Nevertheless, another influence encourages doing business with bosses and VIPs. Tread carefully!

Gemini (May 21-June 20)

Avoid important decisions today and restrict your spending to food and gas. (See Moon Alert above.) Be careful in decisions about work-related travel and working with coworkers because you might go overboard. Do your homework but wait until tomorrow to act.

Cancer (June 21-July 22)

This is fantastic, creative day! If you work in the arts, the entertainment world or even the hospitality industry, you will come up with original, imaginative ideas. Make note of them. Write them down. After the Moon Alert is over, check them out. Meanwhile – socialize!

Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)

This is a great day to entertain at home and enjoy the company of others. You might be tempted to do a real-estate deal today because it seems too good to be true. Nevertheless, a Moon Alert is a very bad time to sign a paper or commit to any real-estate negotiations. Forewarned is forearmed.

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

You have a fantastic way with words today, which is why you can sweettalk anyone. In fact, some of you will make money from your words. Nevertheless, be aware of the restrictions of the Moon Alert, which will apply for most of the day. (See above.)

Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

You’re energetic because the Sun and Mars are in your sign. Furthermore, this is a fabulous money day for you. You can boost your earnings, and will enjoy spending money. However – most of this day is a Moon Alert, which is bad for shopping or important decisions. Be careful!

Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

This is a fabulous day to entertain at home and enjoy the company of others. By all means, grab every opportunity to schmooze and relax. Check the Moon Alert and postpone shopping and important decisions until afterwards. Enjoy!

Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

This is a popular time for you; however, you might enjoy some solitude today. It’s a perfect day to relax and pamper yourself. After all, you can’t be all things to all people all the time. Set aside some time today just for you. Be aware of the Moon Alert!

Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

This is a lovely day to socialize with friends and groups. You will enjoy their company and vice versa, they will be glad to see your face. However, don’t volunteer for anything today. Postpone important decisions when talking to bosses and VIPs because of today’s Moon Alert.

Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

Travel if you can and enjoy socializing with others. You make a great impression on bosses and important people today. (A romance might strike up for some.) Please be aware of the restrictions of today’s Moon Alert. See above.

Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)

You might be focused on shared property and financial matters. You might also want to make travel plans. Nevertheless, most of today is a Moon Alert, which means it’s a poor day for important decisions or shopping (other than food and gas). Be careful!

If Your Birthday Is Today

Actor Eric Stoltz (1961) shares your birthday today. You are imaginative, playful and friendly. You have a strong personal code by which you live. Personally, you love your creature comforts and enjoy good times socializing with others. This year is a wonderful time for you because you are getting the recognition you well deserve – kudos, promotions or some kind of acknowledgement. Enjoy this. Bravo!

Witchcraft/Magickal

From witchswap.com

Sunday

is associated with the Sun and zodiac sign of Leo. I add Cancer and Aries to this because they are also associated with the Sun. The elemental correspondence is Fire, (shocking, I know). In my opinion Sunday is the most diverse day in terms of its spell correspondences. Spells for success, money/prosperity, healing, protection, insight, fame/power, attraction and empowerment are just a few of the spells that can be amplified if performed on a Sunday. Gods/Goddesses: Helios, Brigid. Brigid is the Goddess of Fire and the Hearth and is celebrated on Imbolc, which is known as the “Festival of Lights”. By invoking her on Sundays you can tap into her powers of illumination and maternal energy. Angel: Michael. Archangel Michael is the ultimate warrior. He can be petitioned to help aid your cause or to destroy an enemy. If this is an angel you work with often, Sunday would be an auspicious day for honoring him and offering him gifts of thanks.
