2016 promises to be a year of surprises, miracles and magic. The year opens with a supportive cosmic energy that asks you to let go and trust in the guiding spirit of the universe. It is going to be another year of deep healing and collective awakening, which will move to expand your capacity for love. Everything you have endured to now has facilitated the gradual full embodiment of your soul and the reclamation of your body of light. Self growth, healing and spiritual evolution has accelerated this process and brought many new paths, directions and opportunities. This will continue as we move into this new year. It is of course always your choice whether to embrace these new possibilities You may choose to continue your path of growth and shift your reality, or to remain unchanging in the destruction and chaos of the old world. Only you have the power to choose.
A definite shift in realities will occur this year as a deeper awareness of our multidimensional existence becomes more evident. As multidimensional beings, living in a multidimensional universe, we exist in many different versions at once. Each reality affects and informs all other realities as everything is connected to everything else. The multidimensional nature of your soul’s experience creates a unique opportunity to learn, grow, explore and evolve. As your consciousness continues to expand you will come to realise you are your own universe split into every possible manifestation. Your awareness of other realities will deepen and become more apparent as the year unfolds. This new awareness will open doorways allowing for a reunion with your soul origin and a deeper merging with your spiritual essence.
In the years since 2012 change and transformation have held us tight within its grasp. In 2016 we see these inner changes and transformations coming to a head. As you adapt to the incoming energies a deeper awareness of your soul and its sacred reality will bring about a profound shift in your life, your purpose and your reason for being here during these significant times. The inner aspects of your soul will become more evident in your external reality and your life will change accordingly.
The last few years have given you many opportunities to embrace your true spirit, which has released you from old patterns and limitations. Spiritually, mentally, emotionally and physically you have healed, released, realigned, processed and purged over and over again. It has been a monumental time of change, which has initiated the reconnection of your soul and the reclamation of your Lightbody.
Your process of transition into light has been gradual as your energy field has been infused with and realigned to light. The reclamation of your Lightbody has been created by the Earths current transition and has not been an optional experience Each individual has been evolving and absorbing light at their own pace, yet when one is conscious of the process, transformation occurs at a faster rate. Those that are unconscious are absorbing light in direct relation to the Earths changes. No one has been immune to these shifts and changes and every individual on the planet has been offered the opportunity to heal, grow and evolve.

Of course all your energy bodies are intertwined and interconnected so the effects of all the changes and transformations informed and affected each body simultaneously. As you move into 2016 you will experience a profound expansion, which will bring an active re-assessment of your life and final surrender to your destiny. 2016 will see you reclaiming all the multiple facets of your soul, which will enable you to move forward to a greater, more dynamic and expansive version of your divine self. Your task will be to activate and incorporate the divine qualities and attributes of your soul and then use these for the greatest good. There is still much confusion as to what the soul is, how it functions and where it resides. What we do know is that your soul is an extension of your divine self. It is neither spirit nor matter and exists within a multidimensional universe. It is crystalline in nature and a fragment of pure light essence. Your soul is programmed to record your journey through the universe and is your link to the Divine Creator.
Your soul resides in your sacred heart and contains a seed for full self realisation. This seed contains an overview of all the highlights of every life you have ever lived, the major lessons you learnt and the talents and gifts you perfected as your journeyed through the cosmos. You have been programmed in this lifetime to awaken your sacred heart, to cultivate this seed and thus activate your full soul potential. Your process of healing, growth and transformation has stirred the seed and is now initiating the unification of all soul fragments within your being. All lives, lifetimes and fragments of your soul are connected through the light of your spirit. However, trauma, suffering and pain can fragment your soul leaving aspects stuck and or limited in old patterns of energy. Your understanding of the intricate process of reconnecting with the many facets of your soul will help you to move through the coming year with greater ease and grace.
As you go through this years transformations and vibrational shifts you will move beyond the massive belief patterns of the collective consciousness and attune with your cosmic consciousness via the many facets of your soul. In those times it is important to remember there is no turning back now. Be kind, gentle and compassion with yourself in these moments. Your progress has brought you to this unbelievable place and as the year unfolds you will see and understand just how connected, centred and filled with purpose you are.
As you continue your path of personal growth and spiritual evolution your duty is to remember the old and wise aspect of yourself, to uncover its truth and to break through that which continues to cloud your inner divine light. Remember you cannot convey that which you have not yet claimed as your won. The incoming energies of this year will activate your ability to transmit perfect patterns of light into the world. The Moon today is in a Waning Crescent phase. In this phase the Moon’s illumination is growing smaller each day until the New Moon. During this phase the Moon is getting closer to the Sun as viewed from Earth and the night side of the Moon is facing the Earth with only a small edge of the Moon being illuminated. This phase is best viewed an hour or 2 before the sunrise and can be quite beautiful if you’re willing to get up early. It can also be a great time to see the features of the Moon’s surface. Along the edge where the illuminated portion meets the dark side, the craters and mountains cast long shadows making them easier to observe with a telescope or binoculars.

Juno was the Queen of Heaven. As the matriarch of the gods, she guarded over women in every aspect of their lives. Juno was thought to have renewed her virginity every year. Similar to other goddess stories, Juno was a triple goddess-a virgin who belonged to no one; a mother and woman in the prime of her life, sexual and mature; and also a crone, powerful, wise, and sometimes vengeful (as she made her husband’s many mistresses’ lives either fairly unhappy or short).
There are references to an early all-female triad of goddesses known as the Capitoline Triad. This triad consisted of Juventas, Juno, and Minerva. To the Greeks, they would have been known as Hebe, Hera, and Hecate. Ultimately the triad became Juno, Minerva, and the male Jupiter. Jupiter, another of Thursday’s gods, was Juno’s consort.
As mentioned earlier, Juno, in her aspect as Juno Moneta, was the patron and protector of the Roman mint. The coins produced at her temples were blessed by Juno and imbued with her powers of abundance and prosperity. In another of her aspects as Juno Augusta, Juno was the goddess of an abundant harvest.
In addition, another of Juno’s magickal correspondences is the semiprecious stone malachite. Malachite is a beautiful green-banded stone that was also called the “peacock stone” in Italy. The peacock was a sacred animal of Juno’s, and the magickal energies of malachite encourage health and prosperity.

Today is the day for prosperity work of all kinds. It can also be used for healing work, whether that is a physical healing of an illness or an emotional healing. Also remember that you have to follow up your healing work and prosperity magick and physical action.
I can’t tell you the number of times I have met new witches who complain to me that their prosperity spell or “I need a better job” spell did not work as they expected. They’ll ramble on and on about how much time and money they spent working their magick….but, alas, they had no glorious manifestation of wealth or fabulous job that suddenly dropped out of the sky and landed in their laps.
Then, when I gently ask them, “Did you enchant your resume or application when you filled it out? Did you do a little confidence-boosting spellwork when you went to apply for the job or went to the interview?” typically they give me a blank, confused stare.
Nine times out of ten, their response is, “You mean I have to go out and actually look for the job too?” Um, yes, my dear, you certainly do. Magick follows the path of least resistance, which means it’s going to manifest along the simplest, quickest route. Get out there and hit the pavement. See what you can find. Times are tough and competition for good jobs is fierce, so you need whatever edge you can get. For folks like us, we’re going to get the edge by using our magick and our spellcraft.

The name is derived from Old English and Middle English Thursday (with loss of -n-, first in northern dialects, from influence of Old Norse Þorsdagr) meaning “Thor’s Day”. Thunor, Donar (German, Donnerstag) and Thor are derived from the name of the Germanic god of thunder, Thunraz, equivalent to Jupiter in the interpretatio romana.
In most Romance languages, the day is named after the Roman god Jupiter, who was the god of sky and thunder. In Latin, the day was known as Iovis Dies, “Jupiter’s Day”. In Latin, the genitive or possessive case of Jupiter was Iovis/Jovis and thus in most Romance languages it became the word for Thursday: Italian giovedì, Spanish jueves, French jeudi, Sardinian jòvia, Catalan dijous, and Romanian joi. This is also reflected in the p-Celtic Welsh dydd Iau.
The astrological and astronomical sign of the planet Jupiter is sometimes used to represent Thursday.
Since the Roman god Jupiter was identified with Thunor (Norse Thor in northern Europe), most Germanic languages name the day after this god: Torsdag in Danish, Norwegian, and Swedish, Hósdagur/Tórsdagur in Faroese, Donnerstag in German or Donderdag in Dutch. Finnish and Northern Sami, both non-Germanic (Uralic) languages, uses the borrowing “Torstai” and “Duorastat”. In the extinct Polabian Slavic language, it was perundan, Perun being the Slavic equivalent of Thor.
There are a number of modern names imitating the naming of Thursday after an equivalent of “Jupiter” in local tradition. In most of the languages of India, the word for Thursday is Guruvar- var meaning day and guru being the style for Bṛhaspati, guru to the gods and regent of the planet Jupiter. In Thai, the word is Wan Pharuehatsabodi—referring to the Hindu deity Bṛhaspati, also associated with Jupiter. En was an old Illyrian deity and in his honor in the Albanian language Thursday is called “Enjte”. In the Nahuatl language, Thursday is Tezcatlipotōnal meaning “day of Tezcatlipoca”.

SIMPLE CRYSTAL HEALING SPELL
Needed:
–3 candles- 2 light blue & 1 white
–Allspice & Rosemary (equal parts each) or a Healing type incense
–photo or paper with name of recipient a small quartz crystal
Place the candles on your altar or workspace in a semi-circle with the white candle between the two blue ones. Place your incense burner above the white candle. Place the person’s name in the center of the layout, with the quartz crystal on top. Light the incense then the candles. Center yourself and inhale the incense as you think of all ill health dispelling from the person and instead being replaced by healing energy, much as the air is filled with the smoke of the incense.
Gather your healing energy and when you feel ready, release the energy, directing it through the crystal and to the recipient who’s name or photo is beneath it. Give the recipient the crystal to carry as a charm for continued good health.
Take a holed stone (naturally holed stones often found in or beside running water or the ocean) and put it in a vessel of clear water. Remove it and the water is possessed of healing vibrations which can be used in healing baths, to anoint a healing charm, and so on. Perform this on the New, waxing, or full moon with the focus on healing and getting better. Place the bowl of water with stone out under the moon to collect Her energies and blessings. Say something along to lines of:
Lady Luna, Bless this water with your healing energies.
Then leave it outside under the light of the moon for nine minutes, nine being a healing number. You might also sit before the water and meditate over it, collecting and projecting healing energies into it. Then bring it indoors, store it in a glass container such as a mason jar and use.
You could also drop a bit of blue food coloring into it and keep it in a vial to carry as a talisman. Use some of it in bathing waters along with a healing herb or oil. You could also anoint your forehead with it or afflicted are and then go deep into a meditative state concentrating on healing the disease/illness/problem.

Comets and Bright Star

Explanation: This timely, telescopic, two panel mosaic spans about 10 full moons across planet Earth’s predawn skies. Recorded as the year began from Tenerife, Canary Islands, near the top of the frame are the faint coma and tail of Comet Borrelly (P/19). A comet with a seven year orbital period, Borrelly’s nucleus was visited by the ion propelled spacecraft Deep Space 1 near the beginning of the 21st century. Anchoring the scene at the bottom is brilliant star Arcturus (Alpha Bootes) and Comet Catalina (C/2013 US10) a first time visitor from the Oort Cloud. Catalina’s yellowish dust tail extends below and right. Buffeted by winds and storms from the Sun, the comet’s complex ion tail sweeps up and toward the right, across most of the field of view. Remarkably, one of the composition’s 30 second exposure subframes also caught the trail of a bright meteor, slashing toward the left between comets and bright star.
