Some quartz crystals contain bits of greenish mineral matter in them. These are known as “money crystals” or “abundance crystals.” If possible, use one of these in this spell. Otherwise, a clear quartz crystal will work fine.

Select a magazine picture or download an online image that symbolizes prosperity to you. It might be an object or condition you desire, such as a new home, a sports car, or a European vacation. Lay the picture face up on a windowsill where the moon’s light will shine on it.

Wash the crystal in warm water with mild soap to cleanse it of any unwanted energies. Dry the crystal, then hold it to your third eye (between your eyebrows) while thinking about your intention. Doing this sends the image into the crystal. Then set the crystal on the picture. Make sure the crystal’s point faces toward the inside of your home, to draw what you want to you. Leave the crystal in place overnight. In the morning, remove the crystal and picture and give thanks for the bounty you are about to receive.

I will hopefully be back to posting the extra information tomorrow. I have to be off all types of pain medication until I see the orthopedic doctor at 11:00 AM CST today for my right knee that I hurt on January 2nd. As those of you who suffer from chronic pain know, my pain level is off the 1-10 pain chart right now, so anything I do hurts so much more. I will let you know what they decide to do with my knee tomorrow.

This year Mercury goes retrograde three times. The first time is from March 15 to April 7, which means we can expect transportation problems, transit delays, late deliveries, mixed-up communications, misplaced items, equipment breakdowns, and people from the past popping up. On the upside, this is an excellent time to finish old projects, study the past and get a better understanding of our own personal history. Because there’s a shadow phase before and after each retrograde — be smart and avoid buying ground transportation, technology, computers and cell phones between March 8 – April 27. (Gulp.) Yes, Mercury retrograde has benefits and drawbacks. It’s like when one door closes and another door opens, which probably means you’re in prison.

Aries (March 21-April 19)

Heads up! This is a lively week! Admittedly, the Sun is still hiding in your chart, which means you’re happy to work alone or behind the scenes. Nevertheless, on Monday, busy Mercury enters your sign, making you be eager to express your point of view to others. Your mind will be busy, and you’ll have a strong urge to get out and be on the go. “Shops must be visited. Money must be spent!” But lo! Mercury will be retrograde in your sign on March 15 until April 7. (The buffer dates are March 8 – April 27.) That means THIS is the week to buy technology, cars, trucks, computers and cell phones. If not, wait until after April 27.

Taurus (April 20-May 20)

This is an exciting week! On Monday, the Moon enters your sign to stay until Wednesday morning. (Once a month the Moon is in your sign for 2 1/2 days, and when this occurs, it gives you an advantage over all the other signs because your luck is slightly improved.) On Tuesday, you’ll be energetic, practical and focused; and at the same time, light on your feet and ready for change. Go after what you want! Mid-week, financial issues look favourable! Look for ways to improve your job or get a better paying job or boost your earnings because you’ll be convincing when talking to others. Saturday is a marvellous day to entertain. Gemini (May 21-June 20)

This is a fabulous week! The Sun is at high noon in your chart, casting you in a flattering spotlight making you look great in the eyes of others, especially authority figures. This advantage happens only once a year so by all means use this to go after what you want. As this week begins, you’re high viz., which means people notice you. (In fact, some will know personal details about your private life.) March 2025 Moon Details

The Full Moon for this month will occur in the second week on Friday, March 14th. The New Moon will happen later in March on Saturday, March 29th.

March Full Worm Moon

March’s full moon is commonly called the Full Worm Moon. This is because of the earthworms that wriggle out of the ground as the earth begins to thaw in March. Here’s a little known fact about March’s full moon: it was called the Worm Moon only by Southern Native American tribes. In fact, there’s no way the Northern tribes would have ever called it the Worm Moon – and the reason why is fascinating.

Essentially, earthworms did not exist in Northern America. It would be literally impossible for Northern tribes to see worms popping up in March. All the earthworms you see in Northern America today are invasive species brought in by colonists. These earthworms were brought over either out of a misguided intent to help fertilize the soil, or as an accident along with transported plants or the soil used for ballast in ships. Little did the colonists know that during the last ice age, glaciers had spread so far across Canada and the northern parts of the United States that all earthworms had been completely wiped out.

When the deep ice melted 12,000 years ago, the native forests in those areas grew back and adapted to the loss of earthworms. The growth of these forests became dependent on a layer of duff, which is a compost layer comprised of decomposing leaves and other rotting organic matter. If you ever visit one of these native forests, you will be asked to clean your shoes and make sure it’s free of earthworm eggs. That’s because while it’s normally harmless everywhere else, earthworms will aggressively destroy the native forest’s duff layer by eating right through it.

This is why in Northern American tribes such as the Shawnee tribe, the Worm Moon is called the Sap Moon instead, as a reminder for the tribes that they can begin tapping maple syrup. In general, March’s full moon is known as a herald for the beginning of spring and new agricultural cycles. The Anglo-Saxons even used the Worm Moon as a way to predict the state of their crops. They called it the Storm Moon if it was stormy, which was a sign that their crops would fail. But if it was dry, they called it the Rugged Moon, an indication of a bounteous harvest.

One of its other names is the Chaste Moon, symbolizing the purity of early spring. The Pueblo tribe named it the Moon When the Leaves Break Forth, while in Shoshone culture it was known as the Warming Moon. Sometimes it is called the Crow Moon, after the crows and other birds that appear as winter draws to a close. Other times, it’s called the Crust Moon, because of the snow that becomes crusty when it thaws in the sun and freezes in the moonlight.

In India, March’s full moon is also seen as a symbol of the arrival of spring, and coincides with the festival of Holi. This is a riotous party where Indian communities all around the world engage in a huge water fight. Everyone goes out into the streets and sprays each other with colored water and powders, singing and dancing with strangers and loved ones alike. Playing and feasting together is a chance for you to repair relationships that have gone bad, reaffirming your existing social bonds as you move forward together into the new year.

March 2025 Horoscope: Eclipse & Retrograde Season In One

Retrograde in, retrograde out? The first quarter of 2025 feels like a revolving door of cosmic backspins, and it’s got us all feeling dizzy. Just as we relaxed into the relief of intense Mars turning direct (forward) on February 23, March comes in like a testy lion, serving up two new inner-planet retrogrades and a pair of reality-rocking eclipses.

The first retrograde is harmonizer Venus, which will backspin from March 1 to April 12. A couple weeks later, communication planet Mercury joins the retrograde brigade, about-facing until April 7. Both planets will split their OOO flips between Aries and Pisces. People could go from overly aggressive to stunningly passive (more like evasive) in the coming weeks.

Midmonth also ushers in the first eclipse, a total lunar (full moon) edition in Virgo. This is the first Virgo eclipse in a new series that began in September 2024, and will ripple across the Virgo/Pisces axis between now and fall 2026. Then, on March 29, the Aries new supermoon arrives as a partial solar eclipse, wrapping up a two-year eclipse series on the Aries/Libra axis, which amplified themes of war and peace.
