Winter 2016 – 2017: Winter comes early with a “Green” (snowless) Yuletide.

It will be dry at the start but will end wet. More overcast days than usual.

Short harvest window for grapes & soybeans.

The cold shall last long with one great storm and high winds to come from the east.

Snowstorms around 2nd week of January to the 4th week of March.

  1. i am ready for snow danville va got there first snow fall we got 8.8inch and ready for more snow love the snow.

    1. Now I know where to pack up our snow and send it, lol! I don’t mind the snow, it is beautiful. And besides it is Winter what should I expect? We had a ice storm about 10 years ago and didn’t have any power for 14 days. That sort of haunts my memories. As long as we have snow, I can cope. Ice is another story. Enjoy the snow, my little snow bunny!
