Where to Set up an Altar
A Witch’s altar doesn’t need to be expensive nor time-consuming to create. You should be able to create it with things you already have. You also do not have to worry about space. Many people set up their altars on a temporary tables they put up and take down each time, on a dressing table, on a mantle piece, on top of a TV set, or even a ‘briefcase’ type carrying set that you can put away.
Do not neglect outdoor spaces too! In the summer, or if you are privileged enough to live in a warm climate, you could set up and altar in a private area of your garden or in a forest. Just be sure you have the privacy you required and are allowed to be in this area and are not trespassing!
