The April Planter’s Moon
As we roll into the month of April, spring is really in the air now! The chilly nights of March are making way for the milder, softer days of April. Now the trees are greening up more each day, the hyacinths and daffodils are blooming in the garden, and the tulips are getting ready to parade their candy colors. The full moon in April is a wonderful time to bless your garden in its earliest days of the growing season.
Take a stroll outside this evening under the light of the rising full moon and bless or consecrate your gardens. (This will still work if your garden happens to be a collection of window boxes and pots on a deck or balcony.) As you walk along the garden, hold your hands above the containers and repeat the following full moon spell to bless the plants that are growing. This charm calls upon the four elements and will mark your garden as an area of magick and power.

Merge your magick with mine, circle around this space
By earth, air, fire, and water, I bless this place.
This full moon is also the perfect opportunity to magickally enhance any plants, seeds, and seedlings you are preparing to plant into your magickal gardens.
For this blessing, gather together all of your seed packets or young plants and set them in a place where the light of the moon will fall upon them. Hold your hands over the top of the plants or seeds and visualize the magick energy of creation streaming into them. Repeat the following charm three times:
Goddess, bless these seeds/ plants with life, health, and vitality
I do enchant these now as the full moon shines brightly.
