Magickal Activity for November 25th, the Day of St. Catherine
Marriage Proposal Spell
Items needed:
A small table or altar covered
with a green cloth; one green
7-day knob candle; rose oil; a
Venus pentacle;
a picture of your loved one.
Begin this spell on a Friday night during the waxing moon. Etch your name on the top knob and your lover’s name on the last or bottom knob of the candle. Anoint the candle with the rose oil as you chant:
(Name), your thoughts are just of me,
No other face but mine you see.
For as this spell I do fashion,
To fill your heart with love and passion.
Place the picture face-up on the table with the Venus pentacle tacle on top of it. Set the candle on the pentacle. As you light the first knob chant the following:
I kindle within the flame of desire,
The proposal of marriage to inspire.
Leave the candle to burn until the first knob has been consumed. sumed. At the same time each night repeat the spell exactly as you did it the first time. On the final night you must stay with the candle until the last knob has burned out but not scorched the pentacle or picture. Carry the pentacle and picture with you when you next meet your loved one.
