Power struggles are likely this weekend between you and your mate. Selfish ways might also come out more between the both of you, so don’t expect compromise any time soon. There are a few astrological culprits…

On Friday, Mercury enters opinionated Sagittarius and you might find yourself bluntly (and tactlessly) honest with your partner. Also on this day, Venus will square off with Pluto, which always introduces elements of control, manipulation, and obsessiveness. When this aspect is rearing its ugly head there’s a definitely feeling of “love is pain” around. Ouch! Even so, there could be amazing sexual chemistry between you and someone special. You just might invite the pain!

Then, once the Moon enters independent Aries on Saturday, bossiness can really get off the charts. You are not likely to bow down to whatever it is your lover wants. Guess what? Your partner won’t either. Stalemate or, checkmate? That all depends on who’s making the rules this weekend.
