The Witches Magick for the 24th day of the Wort Moon – Familiar Path Meditation

FAMILIAR PATH MEDITATION

 

Use this meditation to help you successfully handle a personal or professional challenge. At dusk, take a ten-minute walk on a safe, familiar path. As you walk, focus on one personal or professional challenge you are presently facing. Take a few deep breaths as you start out, letting your arms swing freely at your sides. Turn your mind to the familiar path you are walking along. Now count one and two as you inhale and walk, and then count three and four as you exhale and continue walking. Keep breathing in this manner until you establish a natural pattern of breathing as you walk along. As you breathe and walk in this way, imagine being next to a magnificent waterfall that flows into a large pool. Think of your challenge and ask the question, “How can I successfully handle this challenge?” Turn your mind back to the waterfall and imagine seeing the answer to your question in the clear surface of the water pool. Allow the possibilities to flow through your mind. As you receive your answer, enjoy the feeling of handling your challenge in a positive way. Allow your satisfaction to shine through, and put a smile on your face, knowing you have the abilities to meet and master the task at hand. Let go of any thoughts of doubt, and go through the steps you will take to meet your challenge. Now, turn your mind to the familiar path you are walking along again. Take a few more deep, complete breaths, feeling refreshed and clear-headed, ready to take on your challenge.
