Your Daily Horoscopes for Thursday May 7th

Your Daily Horoscopes for Thursday May 7th

By Rick Levine

General Horoscope

We continue to ride the waves of optimism as the buoyant Sagittarius Moon aligns with joyful Jupiter and sweet Venus. However, we may attempt to reclaim our center of gravity once the Moon enters earthy Capricorn at 2:16 pm EDT. Although we tend to hide our feelings once Venus shifts into self-protective Cancer, her magical quintile to Uranus thwarts our efforts to settle down. An electric kind of love is in the air if we can find it.

Aries Horoscope

(Mar 21 – Apr 19)

You aren’t happy with your busy schedule today, but you’re resigned to take the more responsible path anyway. Nevertheless, you must confront your irrepressible temptation to procrastinate; nothing will be gained by distracting yourself from your current obligations. Thankfully, once you commit to wholeheartedly focusing your intentions, you gain the power to harness your unrealized potential and have a productive day in spite of yourself. Ironically, your mind is your weakest link and your greatest ally.

Taurus Horoscope

(Apr 20 – May 20)

You are all set to put the finishing touches on a project today, but unless you are very persistent, things might not go according to your plan. There’s a lot of mental interference in the atmosphere now and the noise could tempt you to ignore your agenda and follow a fleeting whim. Hopefully, you can override your need to escape by practicing a little common sense. You have an opportunity to turn a dream into reality if you pick one track and stay on it.

Gemini Horoscope

(May 21 – Jun 20)

You may appear quite busy today, but others can’t figure out why you’re getting so little done. Oddly enough, you don’t even notice that you’re wasting energy running in circles. Fortunately, you can regain control of your day by consciously slowing down. Analyzing the consequences of your behavior prior to initiating action is much more effective than flying off the handle in every direction. Less hurry and less worry leads to higher productivity and greater self-esteem.

Cancer Horoscope

(Jun 21 – Jul 22)

Although you can be quite cautious when it comes to revealing your feelings, it’s refreshing to skip the never-ending analysis today. Normally, you prefer to contemplate all your options before doing anything. However, making every little decision as if you’re playing a game of chess takes the excitement out of life. Give yourself permission now to react without concern for what happens next. Putting your emotions out on the table might bring more relief than you expect. Take a chance and open your heart.

Leo Horoscope

(Jul 23 – Aug 22)

You might have committed to so many activities today that you don’t know how you’re going to manage your time. Your responsibilities grow more demanding throughout the day and your schedule becomes less forgiving as the afternoon unfolds. Nevertheless, avoid getting so caught up in your own agenda that you can’t see a solution that’s right in front of your nose. A healthy dose of adaptability allows you to accommodate unexpected changes into your calendar with a minimum of disruption. A positive surprise can occur if you give it room to manifest.

Virgo Horoscope

(Aug 23 – Sep 22)

Your resolve grows stronger throughout the day, raising your confidence about a current project at work. Unfortunately, being productive isn’t your only consideration today; you also want to enjoy yourself in the process. Be careful; don’t use your personal desires to justify sabotaging your efforts if you’re not having a good time. Stay on course and demonstrate your expertise. Ultimately, the satisfaction you derive from a job well done will be enough of a reason to celebrate.

Libra Horoscope

(Sep 23 – Oct 22)

You’re determined to complete your work but no matter how practical your approach, you still can see beyond the castle walls. Your perspective on life won’t fit into a neat and tidy package now. In fact, you might even recognize how your current efforts merge with your future plans in a way you haven’t yet grasped. You will do your best work in the long run by finishing on your own timetable, not someone else’s. Fortunately, everything should fall into place if you maintain a high level of focus and an unwavering faith in yourself.

Scorpio Horoscope

(Oct 23 – Nov 21)

You may grow agitated as you strive for perfection, especially if you find it hard to concentrate now. If you are tired from working so many hours on a project, take stock of what you have already accomplished and pat yourself on the back. Simply letting others know what you still have left to do alleviates the immediate pressure. Don’t waste energy on self-judgment. A little extra rest is all you need today; tomorrow you will feel refreshed and ready for anything.

Sagittarius Horoscope

(Nov 22 – Dec 21)

If you have been lax at work recently, it’s time to reassess your priorities before continuing in your old ways. Although you want to put your life back in order, you could overcompensate and take on too much in order to prove your good intentions. However, the ambitious Capricorn Moon helps you plan your schedule with efficiency in mind. Make your energy last longer by taking a more methodical approach. Managing your time wisely allows you to work less and accomplish more.

Capricorn Horoscope

(Dec 22 – Jan 19)

Your friends may be surprised with your uncharacteristic emotional intensity today. They might back off from a conversation to avoid conflict even if they think that you are wrong. Thankfully, the Moon’s monthly return to your sign empowers you to express your vulnerable side without losing track of your goals. Nevertheless, do yourself a big favor and tone down your fervor. You don’t have to push others beyond their comfort zone to stay passionately engaged with your meaningful cause.

Aquarius Horoscope

(Jan 20 – Feb 18)

You could be drawn into a complex drama today and there might not be a straightforward way to avoid it. You may sink into your emotions and the more you struggle to be somewhere else, the deeper it gets. There’s no need to panic; your smartest strategy is to stop resisting. Listen to what others have to say and don’t put up unnecessary walls. Your gift is to be a sounding board now for those who need it most. Thankfully, the appreciation you receive in return touches your heart in ways you didn’t expect.

Pisces Horoscope

(Feb 19 – Mar 20)

Your obsession with one particular version of the future can impede your progress today. Or, you might grow afraid of being stuck on your current path, especially if you don’t like where it’s heading. In both scenarios, your attachment or avoidance intensifies the situation and makes it more challenging to navigate through the circumstances. Relaxing your expectations allows you to explore more options and regain a healthier perspective. Wider horizons lead to a happier heart.

Love Astrology: Going Beyond Venus

Love Astrology: Going Beyond Venus

How planets and houses influence your love style

We all know that Venus is the planet of love, harmony and affection. This is the planet that tells us about our powers of attraction. In a man’s chart it speaks volumes about the type of woman he’s physically attracted to, while in a woman’s chart we look to Venus for key information about what qualities she has she’ll use to attract a man.

Yes, Venus is also connected to the 7th House of Committed Partnership and Marriage, but did you know that there’s more to love than Venus? Way more.

Find dating clues in your 5th House of Romance

Love begins in the 5th House of Romance in your chart. This is the place of fun and pleasure. The 5th house rules romance and giving love. This is where we take a chance in life and gamble.

When it comes to love, wouldn’t you agree that it might be the most speculative bet of all? We risk our hearts being broken and having our spirits crushed. And yet, we continue to keep our hearts open because we know if we “win” the jackpot is huge. Our hearts filled with joy and love.

So yes, where you begin to date someone, fall in love and have romantic and fun sex is a 5th house of Romance matter. Any planets that are in your 5th house will offer more details about your love potential. Don’t have a planet in your 5th house? Not to worry — you’re not meant to be lonely. Your 5th house story just takes a bit more digging. You’ll need to look to the planet that rules the sign on the cusp of your 5th house for more information.

Mars rules your sex drive

Speaking of romantic love, invariably it will lead to sex. Before you have sex, however, you need to desire a person. That desire is where Mars enters the picture. This warrior planet is not only about action, it rules your libido. In a woman’s chart, Mars symbolizes the type of man she’s physically attracted to, whereas in a man’s chart Mars will tell us all we need to know about how he shakes his tail feathers and attracts a woman his way.

In either gender Mars will tell the story of how the person is aroused. Mars is what turns you on, pure and simple! Eventually, the love that begins in the 5th House of Romance might become more than a casual fling or dating fun. Love may blossom into commitment, and once it does it becomes a 7th House of Partnership matter. When love enters the domain of the 7th house, something interesting happens. Love gets deeper. Much deeper.

Going deeper in the 8th House of Sex

In fact, a committed partnership no longer has the carefree 5th-house sex. They’ve graduated to 8th House of Sex and Spirituality. The 8th house is all about intimacy and sharing your resources on a deep psychological level. You don’t do this on a one-night stand or in the early dating stages of a relationship. Once you’ve become exclusive and decide to share a life together, however, a deep bond is forged and can intensify love. That’s the job of the 8th house.

Fear of intimacy is conquered here. Interestingly enough, love that may be obsessive, jealous and controlling might lurk its ugly head in the 8th house, as well. The 8th House of Intimacy is where we figure out the power behind the bonds of love and learn how to surrender to it in a psychologically healthy way. Occasionally, this is where we are betrayed or become destroyed by love.

Neptune holds the key to unconditional love

Ideally, love is unconditional. For that, we look to Neptune, because this is the planet that is known as the higher octave of Venus, ruling unconditional and spiritual love.

If you want to know whether love can conquer all in your chart, look to see what Neptune is doing. If this planet makes an aspect to your Sun, Moon, Ascendant or Venus, then you’ve got a natural ability to love unconditionally. The question is … will you receive that in return?

The Moon illuminates our emotional needs

The Moon is also quite important when we speak of love. The Moon rules our deepest need — what we crave. We all crave love, but the Moon will tell us how we need to be nurtured.

In a woman’s chart the Moon is an important indicator of what she needs in order to feel most attuned to her feminine self. In a man’s chart, the Moon suggests qualities he needs emotionally more than anything else from a woman.

Mercury: The key to communication

Finally, what’s love without communication? If you can’t talk about love and express your feelings, well, love may have a more difficult time reaching you. Look to your Mercury placement for clues on what you think about most and how you best interconnect with others.

In the end however, love is a universal language. Venus may be the key to love, but remember she’s not the entire story.

Weekly LightBlast: My Heart and My Love

a message from Jamye Price

Dear One, the power of the heart is your freedom, for it is the vessel of Love’s resonance pulsing through you. This nurturing pulse creates and continues Life. You can not truly separate any aspect of you, yet you can observe its separate functionality in physical form and see clues to the invisible, fully connective realms. There are always clues in the physical leading to your next level of connection. Embrace every aspect of physicality and you open to expansion.

While your expansion is infinite, form is finite. The two Meet in the Middle of your experience; infinity giving way to finite form and finite form melding into infinity. This is so natural, and so invisible, that you often sleep through the connection until the mind begins to understand the invisible nature of life and the heart begins to understand the nature of loving pain into connection. We say loving pain into connection for humanity often resists the transformation of pain, allowing it to stop at the perception of death.

Your power to Love is a game changer in the game of life, but you must understand the rules of conditional experience meeting unconditionality. Condition applies to form, there are external conditions that must be met in order to continue physical expression and expand on Earth. These are the boundary conditions that create your experience. Unconditional is invisible; it is internal and it is where you begin to apply the infinite to the finite of physical form, expanding its boundaries to incorporate the next level of connection into your Earth experience. It is the middle road, expanding out, connecting and expanding further.

Observe what connections, what transformations, you resist and you find where you stop or compartmentalize your expansion. As you Love into Life while honoring your current physical conditions, you expand beyond them into new Love. Your connection with the infinite unites the finite with its invisible opposite, transcending duality into connection.

As we sit to Blast My Heart and My Love, we are releasing pain into the infinite embrace of Love and becoming free to unite with Life. We are expressing the Self through the connection of Love, beginning within and exemplifying out. We are finding a new perspective of transformation available within each experience calling for Love’s embrace. We are forgiving easily, for the touch of the infinite opens the mind to the heart’s connective power. We are nurturing new Life, the future; for its seed is resting in our hearts, awaiting the Light of our Love to call it forth into blossom. Blast on!

Energy Forecast – The Bells of Freedom Ring

Energy Forecast – The Bells of Freedom Ring

a message from Emmanuel Dagher

To read more of Emmanuel’s insight visit his website, Emmanuel Dagher

Dear friend,

What a profound honor it is for me to connect with you in this way again. On behalf of all humanity, thank you for choosing to be here at this time, to help elevate the consciousness of the planet by simply being you.

After recently moving through some of the most highly charged energy we’ve ever experienced, many of us are noticing the old patterns of survival come up to the surface in our lives and in the lives of those around us.

There’s just no sweeping these patterns aside anymore. It’s time to address every single one of them once and for all, so that eternal peace and freedom become the default of our reality, and the reality of all humanity.

This resurfacing of the old survival patterns is actually coming up to give us the opportunity to let go of them completely.

Have you noticed how uncomfortable it has become to be in survival energy? It can immediately be felt somewhere in our body, as a clear signal that it’s time to release it. Some of us may be feeling it in the pit of our stomachs, or in our shoulders, temples, neck, lower back, knees, or feet.

The discomfort itself is a clear indicator that we’ve expanded to such a degree that anything that is not in alignment with our Highest Self will not be able to be housed in our energy anymore.

Survival patterns include anything from insecurity, doubt, and fear to lack, worry, or any other energy vibrating on a similar wavelength. If you are finding yourself in patterns of survival for any reason, give yourself permission to move through them.

An important thing to note is to make sure to not project these patterns onto others, or they will return back to us intensified, almost instantaneously. A healthy outlet such as exercise, journaling, an act of service, or walk in nature are always excellent options that can provide a much more beneficial release.

The Freedom Revolution

In the recent weeks, with the support of the celestial heavens within and all around us, a massive inner freedom revolution has been making its way to the forefront of lives. This quiet yet powerful rise has been leaving many of us feeling different from who we were even just a few weeks ago. That’s how quickly things are changing right now!

This is showing up in several ways. Before I share what these are, I’d like to invite you to contemplate on the following questions.

Has your tolerance for anything not coming from a loving and kind space lessened?

Has your desire or need to please others, in order to receive their love and approval, diminished more in the past few months?

Are you finding it easier to speak up for yourself and say what you really desire to say, instead of what you think people want to hear from you? Meaning, basically, are you finding that you are censoring yourself less now?

If you answered “Yes” to at least two of those three questions, then you, my friend, are moving out of the old survival patterns, and into a richer, fuller, and more abundant new reality.

This can feel uncomfortable at times (especially for our minds). You may be feeling as if you’re not your usual self. However, know that this is absolutely OK, and that you are exactly where you’re supposed to be in this whole process.

As the authentic you continues to emerge and integrate, things will settle, and an extraordinary new reality will begin to reveal itself to you.

A Formula for Freedom

With the amount of changes going on right now, it can be very helpful to create a special map for ourselves that can help us navigate through it all.

I’ve found that the following three things can greatly support us in anchoring greater freedom.

The first thing we can do to anchor greater freedom is to be crystal clear on what we truly desire to experience most in life. Then, once we have clarity, we actually add to it by following through by asking for what we truly want and desire.

I know that as empaths, many of us tend to shy away from asking for what we really want, because we just don’t like ‘rocking the boat’ or placing any burdens on anyone. What this does, is leave many empaths settling for the bare necessities, so that they have just enough to get by. Nothing more.

This usually happens because we think people might judge us if we ask for what we truly want, or that having what we want makes us less spiritual in some way.

Although I truly believe it is in the simplest of things that the greatest fulfillment and blessings reside, it’s OK to experience ALL that life has to offer us. That includes the rainbow of feelings, the healing and beautiful qualities of nature, and the amazing materialization of the Universe through the human imagination.

In reality, asking for what we desire gives the Universe the opportunity to rise up and actually give it to us! The guessing and mixed signals that delay manifestation instantly go out the door.

Another way to awaken to greater freedom in our lives is to get clear on what freedom actually means to us. For me, freedom transcends linear (also known as structured) time, and instantly places us in eternal time.

When I originally befriended the energy of freedom, I began reflecting on the times in my life when I’d felt the most free.

Every time I felt free, it included me being in my heart, less in my mind, and fully in the present moment. It could have been while I was listening to a song that gave me goosebumps, or while sitting under a tree looking out over the ocean. But the common theme was always that I was in that moment fully, living in the present.

I have a feeling that if you reflect on the times you felt the freest, you will find you have probably had similar types of experiences. If that’s the case, then freedom resides in the present moment.

When I realized this, my only job each day was to remember to be fully present with every experience I was having, as often as I could remember to do so. When I made this my daily intention, freedom and abundance became the main energies that guided my life. This practice of living in the present moment showed me that our inner infinity can become completely materialized in our exterior reality as well.

One other way we can anchor freedom is to take more risks.

Because of how sensitive empaths are, having the gift of being able to feel everything around them, taking risks sometimes isn’t the first choice we might gravitate towards (although for some, that may be due to that being part of their personality makeup.)

Although it can sometimes seem a bit uncomfortable to take risks, risk-taking actually has the gift of being able to help us expand beyond any old limitations we may have created for ourselves.

A productive way of taking a risk can be simply to invest in ourselves, our well-being, our gifts, talents, and contributions to the world. This can take expression through actions that further our health and well-being, spiritual development, and creative ventures.

These three processes together can help us expand into and anchor greater freedom in our lives. They can also help us be more prepared for times of great change.

We are living in the times our ancient ancestors talked about for thousands of years! It’s happening all around us here and now.

As always, know that you are not alone. I am so grateful that we get to share this journey together, and I look forward to connecting with you again soon.

Till next time,

Love,

Emmanuel

The Witches Magick for the Seventh Day of the Hare Moon – Stick Like Glue Friendship Spell

Stick Like Glue Friendship Spell

Cast this spell to strengthen one of your friendships.

For this spell, use a beeswax candle, a photograph of your friend, a photograph of yourself, and three dabs of glue.

After dark, light the candle, dedicating it to your special friend. Put the photographs in front of the candle where you can easily see them. Gaze at the photographs for several minutes. Turn your mind to all the positive things in your friendship, caring, love, sharing, nurturing, fun, humor, joy, consideration, compassion, a helping hand when things go wrong, someone to talk with, and someone to enjoy special occasions with. Carefully drip a little candle wax on the back of both photos. Next, put the three dabs of glue on the front edge of your photograph. Place your friend’s photograph on top of the front edge where the glue is. This glues the photos together so both faces can still be clearly seen. Place both your palms one inch over the photographs. Take a deep, complete breath, and center your awareness. Merge with the divine, with Oneness, and say:

By the moon’s shining grace

May we always remain friends

When we are apart and face to face

Please be a good friend to me

And bring joy to my heart

And I will do the same unto yoo

Blessed friendship, so mote it be!

When you are finished, place the photographs on your altar to remind you of your powerful friendship. Allow the candle to safely burn down and return any remaining beeswax to the earth.

WOTC Extra – Fine-Tuning an Unethical Spell

Fine-Tuning an Unethical Spell

As mentioned earlier, there will be times when you choose the “less wrong” action. Reality doesn’t exist in black and white terms. Everything is painted in shades of gray. In addition, the concept of working a spell to change someone else’s situation without their knowledge and consent is perceived as being unethical in itself in the spellcasting community. However, you’ve already established that doing nothing is unethical. Which unethical action do you choose? Remember too that sometimes the correct way to deal with a situation is to do nothing at all, as you may not have all the facts, and your interference may further degenerate the issue. When you cast spells for or upon yourself, this question of ethics rarely comes up.

When you decide to use spellwork to deal with a situation beyond your immediate control, however, the question of ethics immediately arises. In spellcrafting workshops, I often ask students if they would cast a spell to limit someone else’s freedom. They are usually horrified, and protest that they would never do such a thing. Then I suggest a situation such as a serial rapist on the loose in their neighborhood. Would they not do a spell to limit the rapist’s freedom by being caught by the police? Some students say that they would do spells to protect the neighborhood. Wouldn’t it be easier to arrest one individual than attempt to protect thousands? And doesn’t that arrest accomplish the same goal: ensuring the safety of the neighborhood? Sometimes, spellwork for the needs of the many outweighs preserving the needs or rights of the few.

This, however, is a decision only you can make, and only you can draw the line separating ethical from unethical spellcasting. If you decide to act, then commit yourself completely to your decision. Don’t halve your efforts just to cover your bases. If you’re going to do it, do it, and accept the responsibility.

Power Spellcraft For Life: The Art Of Crafting And Casting For Positive Change

Arin Murphy-Hiscock

Let’s Talk Witch – Fine-Tuning An Ethical Spell

FINE-TUNING AN ETHICAL SPELL

When you encounter a situation that you wish to improve with a spell, there are a few things to ask yourself first in order to keep your spell ethical.

1. Who is involved in this situation?

2. Who is affected by this situation?

3. How do I wish to change it?

4. What are the potential repercussions?

These questions will probably remind you of the first steps in crafting a spell. These four questions, however, pinpoint the ethical aspects of spellcrafting. Let’s look at them one by one.

Who Is Involved in This Situation?

This question helps you remember that there are real people with their own lives, hopes, fears, and goals involved in the situation. Every situation is a tangle of energy strands connecting people, emotions, places, and objects. For example, if your significant other is being hassled by his or her boss at work, then the people involved are your significant other and the boss. Some judicious questioning or investigation will reveal the presence of others about which you might not know.

Who Is Affected by This Situation?

Each of the people directly involved in the situation are also connected to other people. What affects the people directly involved can also indirectly affect people not involved. Taking the example from the previous paragraph, the boss’s family is also affected by the situation, as well as the other members of the work environment, and yourself.

How Do I Wish to Change It?

There are several different methods with which to address a problem. You could do a spell to have the boss fired; to have the boss transferred and replaced by someone else; to have the boss hassled by his or her own superiors; to have your significant other transferred; to have your significant other offered another, better job at another company; to improve communication between the boss and your significant other; to win the lottery so that your significant other no longer has to work; to charm the boss into adoring your significant other; the list is endless.

What Are the Potential Repercussions?

When you decide upon a goal, think abut what the repercussions will be. What you can do to address a problem is not necessarily what you should do. If you’re being drawn to casting a spell for something less than ethical, such as having the boss fired, then look back to the second question. Who will be affected by that solution? The family of the boss.

Look at it in terms of what it might do for your significant other, as well. If the boss is fired, then someone has to temporarily take up the slack, and that’s likely to be your significant other’s team or department. Stress will mount; people will start to hassle one another; your own relationship with your partner might become strained. The person eventually brought in to replace the boss will need time to learn the dynamics of the department, and until that replacement has become completely comfortable, things will be awkward. Perhaps the replacement will be even worse than the original boss was.

Do your best to develop a solution that is for the best for everyone involved. Remember that energy travels out along those strands of the energy web. You also will be affected by the web’s vibration.

Thursday Is Ruled By Jupiter

Thursday Is Ruled By Jupiter

Thursday is a Jupiter day. Here is the day of the week for prosperity, abundance, and good health. Thursday is “Thor’s day.” This Norse god gave the day his name and many of his attributes, including strength and abundance. Some suggestions for Thursday enchantments would include:

Wearing a regal and royal shade of blue to see how it affects your mood and your magic. Other colors for the day include purple and green.

Carrying a turquoise tumbled stone in your pocket to draw a little protective and healing energy your way

Incorporating honeysuckle blossoms and cinquefoil foliage into prosperity charms

Calling on Thor for abundance, or on the Roman god Jupiter for the ability to peacefully referee a fight

Adding a few oak leaves—which are sacred to these Thursday gods—to your charms to see how much better your spell works out

Casting a charm with wheat stalks for prosperity, and calling on Juno Moneta to bring wealth into your life

Baking up some whole wheat bread and blessing it for abundance. Be sure to thank the gods for your family and your good health.

Day of Anukins, Goddess of Fertility of the Nile. Create a “flood” on your altar and ask that all those in Africa and every other place in need have enough to eat this year.

On this date (approximately), a festival called The Thargelia was celebrated by the ancient Greeks and Ionians in honor of Apollo, the God of the sun, prophecy, music, medicine, and poetry. The festival was held once a year on the sacred island of Delos, the traditional birthplace of Apollo as well as the Goddess Artemis.

Thursday’s Must Dos

Thursday’s Must Dos

Try wearing some honeysuckle-scented perfume to encourage prosperity. Bewitch someone by wearing deep royal blue or brighten up a dreary day by wearing lucky, prosperity-drawing green. Brew up a pot of mint tea to help increase your cash flow. Try adding a pinch of nutmeg or cinnamon to an unscented candle to encourage some fast cash. Bake up a loaf of wheat bread for the family, and celebrate abundance and be thankful for all that you have.

Conjure up a witchy craft and create a philter or two for your magickal needs. Work with the deities and the magickal plants corresponding with Thursday.

How did the energies of the plants of Jupiter enhance your magick? What did you learn by working with Juno, Jove, or Zeus? The truth is that by adding these new techniques and information into your spellcasting repertoire, you will indeed advance your skills, thereby moving up in the ranks to become a more adept magickal practitioner

Just by believing in yourself and working toward creating abundance, health, and prosperity, you have already begun to transform your outlook on life. Put your game face on; think positively. Work with Thor for perseverance and courage, and apply those qualities to your own prosperity spells and healing witchery. Break out the tarot cards; How could you incorporate that symbolism into other spells of your own design?

Use your imagination, check Thursday’s correspondence list, and see what other bewitching things you can conjure up for prosperity magick all by yourself. Call on the gods and goddess of Thursday and bring some positive change, abundance, health, and prosperity into your life!

Thursday’s Witchery

Thursday’s Witchery

Today is the day for prosperity work of all kinds. It can also be used for healing work, whether that is a physical healing of an illness or an emotional healing. Also remember that you have to follow up your healing work and prosperity magick and physical action.

I can’t tell you the number of times I have met new witches who complain to me that their prosperity spell or “I need a better job” spell did not work as they expected. They’ll ramble on and on about how much time and money they spent working their magick….but, alas, they had no glorious manifestion of wealth or fabulous job that suddenly dropped out of the sky and landed in their laps.

Then, when I gently ask them, “Did you enchant your resume or application when you filled it out? Did you do a little confidence-boosting spellwork when you went to apply for the job or went to the interview?” typically they give me a blank, confused stare.

Nine times out of ten, their response is, “You mean I have to go out and actually look for the job too?” Um, yes, my dear, you certainly do. Magick follows the path of least resistance, which means it’s going to manifest along the simplest, quickest route. Get out there and hit the pavement. See what you can find. Times are tough and competition for good jobs is fierce, so you need whatever edge you can get. For folks like us, we’re going to get the edge by using our magick and our spellcraft.

Thursdays have such a rich source of magick for us to draw upon that, honestly, the sky is the limit. This is the day associated with the gods of the sky and heavens, after all. Get to know these deities and add their wisdom and magick into your days.
