The Moon’s presence in the emotionally intense water sign Scorpio on Friday is often associated with mystery, mistrust and magnetic passion. There’s a tendency to look for hidden motivations that can undermine confidence in others during this lunar transit. But the mood is more buoyant and hopeful than usual due to the Sun’s harmonious 120-degree trine to exuberant Jupiter. This expansive aspect encourages us to adopt optimistic attitudes and a willingness to take risks. Intimate moments don’t need to wait until after dark since there is the sizzling Scorpio Moon’s favorable alignment with loving Venus in the afternoon. Turning attraction into action is favored by a cozy lunar hook-up with sexy Mars at night, warming even the coldest of hearts.
On late Saturday afternoon the Moon’s shift into enthusiastic Sagittarius invites an even more adventurous mood, one that’s perfect for exploring unfamiliar territory. Attraction to new places and faces fulfills the desires of restless souls who feel stifled when sticking to old habits and predictable routines. The spiciness of foreign food, music and movies are especially appealing with a lunar aspect to unconventional Uranus.
Sunday’s mood is somewhat different as pragmatic Saturn enters the picture in the early evening, bringing safety, security, and serious matters into focus. Putting our feet back on the ground and restoring a sense of order is more appealing than playing the field now. Mild comments, though, can feel like stinging criticisms on Sunday night as the Moon forms a stressful square with vulnerable Venus. Blunt talk should be avoided completely for now; use gentler and more indirect forms of self-expression, instead.
