The weekend starts with the Moon in calculating Capricorn on Friday. This orderly and organized sign is generally more favorable for managing well-planned events than freelancing on the fly. While Capricorn might not be the most romantic sign in the zodiac, it does reward those who are patient, persistent and willing to work for what they want. A potential negative, though, is a tendency to seek a position of dominance. While it may be sexy to some people to be with a strong-willed individual, real intimacy is inhibited when control, rather than sharing, is a primary mode of operation.

A more egalitarian approach to others emerges on Saturday morning when the Moon moves into unconventional Aquarius. This intellectual sign makes plenty of room for divergent ideas and values. Experimentation instead of adhering to tradition is a key characteristic of innovative Aquarius. Still, the apparent openness and emotional availability it represents can be misleading. That’s because a greater need for space allows us to get friendly, but not necessarily close enough to take a relationship to a deeper level. In fact, brainy Mercury’s high-frequency square with Aquarius’ unorthodox ruling planet Uranus sparks original ideas and unique experiences, as well as impulsive remarks that aren’t necessarily endearing.

Conversations are likely to grow more complex on Sunday when communicative Mercury aligns in a challenging right angle with secretive Pluto. Words cut deeply, but silence can hurt even more. We may be in a more somber state of mind, but for courageous individuals, this is an opportunity to dive into dark areas and address profound concerns.

Hey There World! How Ya’ Doing?

Hello people! How’s it going today? Me? Don’t ask. But I will tell you anyway, lol! I am sorry there are no horoscopes and dailys today. I got up this morning as usual at the crack of dawn. When I was getting ready to go feed the critters, my husband wanted to know if I wanted to go to town. If you don’t go to town with him, he will spend every penny he has and looking to me for more. Needless to say, we have separate checking and savings accounts. So I told him to give me a little bit and I would go too. Don’t tell anyone but I took my time feeding the critters. When I got to the cute adorable little baby wildcats, I couldn’t help myself. I had to stop and play with them.  Two of them will crawl all over me, the third is starting to come around. It is hilarious how I am getting him to come around too. You know the hissing noise they make at you. Well I got so tired of hearing that from him, I started hissing back at him. Everytime he looks at me, I hiss. He doesn’t know what to think. But he is coming closer and closer with each visit. I heard some bellowing my name, it was my husband tracking me down. My daughter told me if anything every happened to me, daddy would go crazy. I am beginning to think she is right. So I started toward the house and met up with him. He informed me I had taken longer than what I said I was going too. I apologized and got ready to go to town.

He wanted to know if I wanted to drive or him. He had a real bad car wreck and he really doesn’t want to drive anymore. The fool that hit him was going so fast that he hit my Explorer twice and almost folded it up. The factory hinges that hold the seat beat and the door were ripped out of the metal. Hubby was throwed about 100 yards down a concrete road. This all happened when both of them were going to work. Since then he is not sure of himself driving. He doesn’t remember any of the wreck (which is probably a good thing). But I always push him to drive and he does a good job of it. So now we are off to town…….I can sit back and enjoy the scenery. We ran a couple of errands and then all of a sudden hubby had to go to Lowe’s.  I thought perhaps he needed something for the deck. Boy did I get fooled. He bought an electric air compressor. Suprise! Suprise! Suprise! Ok, he has his air compressor, my turn, WRONG! We had a bad storm come through here and it torn down my umbrella clothes line. Well since then I have been aiming to get a new one. I asked the clerk if they had them and he told me, yes and even gave me the aisle number. I started heading for the aisle with his compressor in the cart. He walked up to me and told me, “we had to go because he thought he had to go to the little boy’s room.” He had been fine up to the time I wanted to find my item. Then all of a sudden we got to go. I flew to the checkout and he knew he had pissed me off. All the way home I didn’t say a word to him, except “Turn here, I need some catfood.” We were stopping at the new Dollar Store they built and payback is a bitch, lol! I told him I would be just a minute. I was going to run in and get cat food and run right back out. I walked in the store, got a cart and enjoyed the A/C. It’s in the 90’s today. Hot! I strolled down every isle.. This Dollar Store is like a super Dollar Store.  It is nice big and has everything you could imagine. I love it. I think I was in there about 30 minutes. I figured that he would come in the store to see what had happened to me but he didn’t. I checked out and had a cart full of stuff. He wanted to know where I was going to put everything. I told him I hadn’t thought about that, I guess he will just have to walk home.

Thank the Goddess we finally made it home. We unloaded the truck and got everything inside. It was about 3:30 then. I figure you didn’t need to read a horoscopes because what has happened has happened. Please accept my apologizes for no dailys. I will get back to normal tomorrow, I promise! Later on I am going to add a new God page and put some other info on, to make up for me being bad, lol! I hope you have and had a wonderful day! Love to you all!

ASHES TO RIDDANCE

There are times in our lives when we become burdened with worrying.
We spend so much time worrying that we never come to solving the problem.
Sometimes we have past hang-ups that prevent us from moving towards more positive lifestyles.
This little spell is to help us put an end to these ruts in our lives

Items You Will Need:Needed: Ashes from burned wood Jar or bowl to hold the ashes
Moon Phase:  Waning Moon
Locations: Outdoors in a clearing

Gather wood ashes the day of the spell and place in a glass jar or open bowl.
During the day, hold the jar or bowl and visualize all your worries and/or hang-ups pouring from
your 3rd eye and heart and into the ashes. When the night falls, take the ashes to a clearing in
a field, wood, or parking lot. Hold the jar or bowl in your hands and do one last pouring out of
your worries and hang-ups. Now say:
“You are ashes, And to ashes you shall return.”
Pour the ashes out of the jar or bowl and walk away without looking back.
When you’ve returned home be sure to wash out the jar or bowl.
Burn some incense, take a bath, or light a candle, and refocus. It is done.

Magickal Goody For June 15th: Medieval Rosary Beads

4     cups rose petals

4     cups distilled water

1     teaspoon sandalwood oil

1     teaspoon rose oil

Finely chop rose petals into an iron pot, adding enough distilled water to cover the petals. Heat, uncovered, for 1 hour without boiling the petals. Cover and leave overnight to set. Repeat the process for 4 more days. Then begin to roll the petals into beads, rubbing your hands with 1 drop each of sandalwood and rose oil first, repeating every 5 beads. Press out any liquid as you roll the beads. Thread with a large needle and thick (or plastic) thread. Allow to dry. Makes 60 beads. Separate every  10 beads with a space and 1 isolated bead.

*Personal note* Rosary Beads are not just for Christians anymore. Their popularity in the Pagan culture is growing and being used.  Whether you plan on using a Rosary or not, this would be a beautiful collector’s item.  One more thing at the end of the Rosary beads where normally a Cross would go, use a Pentacle (that’s what I did). I kept trying to win a Pagan Rosary on Ebay with no luck. So I made this set. I got some Rose essential oil and sprinkled it on the Rosary and then attached a beautiful Pentacle to it.  I believe any Pagan would be proud to own it.

Lenten Rose is grown as a cardiotonic and narcotic drug. Although the rhizome is very toxic, the planet is enjoyed for its beauty. It blooms throughout the Lenten season; monks grew it to remind them of Christ’s purity and trials. The Lenten Rose is a ranunculae native to the Caucasus, Greece, and Turkey. It prefers shade in the mountainous woods of Europe. The large, bell-shaped white flowers have no scent, but are irresistible to touch. It is a hardy perennial propagated by division and grown in moist, rich soil.

is the Goddess of Creativity in the culture of the Finnish-Ugrian peoples. She is the daughter of the North wind and her endless stream of ideas and creative powers turned her into the mother of the skies, the creatrix of all living beings. Her laughing created the winds, and from her hair she combed the first people. She gave birth to the first hero of his culture, Vainäämoinen, who was one of the wisest people from his very early days on. Ilmata gifted him with song and music, and he could sing and play his instruments so fabulously that he could tame all wild animals with his songs.

Ilmata comes riding into your life on the North wind to add some power to your creativity. How many ideas did you have lately that you did not act out? How often do you really take the time to build something from the material you have gathered, and do you really write down the funny story that came to your mind recently? General Meaning: After a thunderstorm, or any period of extreme tension, a period of new clarity and fresh opportunity follows. The storm has the effect of clearing the air and suddenly reducing atmospheric tension. Deliverance is at hand. In the wake of a storm on land, deliverance appears in the form of new color and life, which bursts forth in all the fields and flowers. In the wake of a storm at sea, deliverance takes the form of land itself.

In the field of human relations, the rain of forgiveness washes the human landscape clean after a period of conflict and enmity. Great clarity of purpose and renewed vigor can follow the healing of old wounds. But care must be taken not to re-open such wounds by moving too quickly. In the same way, it is important to return to normalcy before moving ahead with new plans after periods of stress.
