Hope You’re Having A Magickal Weekend!

Hey there all you Bloggers and Witchy Friends! I hope everyone is having a great and magickal weekend.  Believe it or not, I got up at 5 a.m., this morning. I watched a little bit of a movie and fell back to sleep. This movie I have been trying to watch for at least 2 months. You heard right, 2 months! Pitiful! The movie 2012. I bought it, brought it home and I thought my husband would want to watch  it. I ought to know never think when it comes to him. Anyway, I think some of you might know and others don’t, so I will give you a little background……….Time Warp, Background Ahead………….I have had two back surgeries. The first one was performed by Dr. Frankenstein and the second by a miracle worker. Frankenstein took out my three discs but didn’t put anything back in their place. So I had bone rubbing on bone. I put up with that for several years.  About four years ago, I got fed up and went to a Doctor that all the Doctors around here use to operate on their backs. I was lucky to get in and also my niece was married to a Doctor at the time, which didn’t hurt at all. Anyway, the Doctor, my hubby and me sit down and had a talk about the procedure and how long I would be laid up. The only concern the Doctor had was that he was going to be doing a three-level fusion. He said three-levels never took. I told him I didn’t care and was willing to take the chance. So he scheduled the surgery. At the time, dumbass me, thought they were only going to do one side. I was WRONG! The left side had no discs to remove, the right side did. So the Doctor took out that side of discs and fused my lower part of my back. I have metal screws that look like their about two inches long (I kid you not), metal cages, and titanium rods. My hubby calls me the Bionic Woman. I was going to a neurologist before the surgery. So after the surgery he adjusted my drugs accordingly. Instead of lessening them, he increased them. Nobody told me it would probably take two years before my back fully healed or that I can have severe muscle spasms. My neurologist was the one that told me and he is the one that foresaw all that coming. He has been super. Between the surgeon and my neurologist, if you didn’t know my story, you could never tell there was anything wrong with me. But I am on very strong drugs and the neurologist told me I would be on them the rest of my life. So when 8 p.m., rolls around I am generally sacked out in the floor. So back to the movie……..My hubby pretended he wanted to watch it. Put it in the DVD player and waited till I fell asleep and then got up, took the DVD out and when and played on his computer. So I have been bringing up watching it, with no reaction from him. Last night, we watched a movie that he wanted to watch. Then when it was through, I told him I wanted to see “2012.” He tracked it down and started it for me. We have new equipment and I don’t know how to work it yet. I can take them out but can’t put them in. So it took me about 12 good hours and I got that damn movie watched!!! Don’t ask me if the movie was worth all the trouble. I will take the Fifth on that one. But my husband came through and told me, “You might get that movie watched by the time next year gets here!” I hope all of you have better luck watching movies than me.
